𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮’𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲

𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘺:

𝙎𝙧𝙞 𝙎𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙙 𝙂𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖 𝙎𝙬𝙖𝙢𝙞 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙟𝙖

“Just surrender unto me!” What more you expect from Krishna? This is his most concluding instruction, most confidential instruction; that’s the best benediction he offers to you. What more you expect? This is the best benediction he has offered you.

Abandon all varieties of dharma, just surrender unto me. Unconditional, complete surrender — not partial, not artificial, not conditional — complete surrender. If you do so, then Krishna takes sole charge of you, you have nothing to bother, no anxiety.

Give up all your independence, svatantra. The jīva has tiny, minute independence, “Oh! I can do this thing, I can do this thing, I can do this thing.” What can you do, bābā? Unless Krishna sanctions, what can you do?

āśā-mātra jīva kore, tava icchā-phale — “The jīva can only desire to act, and unless You fulfill his desire by Your own sweet will, he cannot do anything.” (Srila Thakur Bhaktivinode, Śaraṇāgati 3.2.6)

Man supposes, God disposes. “I am doing this work expecting, ‘this fruit will come to me’”, but it comes to the reverse! Why it is so, bābā? My expectation, my desire is completely baffled, why does this happen? It’s Krishna’s will! Krishna’s will is supreme! By his mere willing creation takes place, maintenance takes place and annihilation takes place! Obeying his order, obeying his will and fearing him, the sun rises and gives light and heat, the moon rises, the wind blows. Indra varṣati — Indradeva reigns. mṛtyuś carati mad-bhayāt — Yamarāja comes in the form of death, fearing Krishna. Good and evil, graha, planets give good and evil results according to his will. Janma-mṛtyu-jarā-vyādhi — birth, death, old age, disease come.

roga-śoka-mṛti-bhoy, tava icchā-mate hoy,

tava ājñā sadā balavān

“Disease comes, death comes, lamentation comes, O Lord, according to Your will, yes, according to Your will. Your order is supreme order, very powerful order. Everything takes place according to Your will.” (Srila Thakur Bhaktivinode, Śaraṇāgati 3.2.6)

tomāra icchaya prabhu sab kārya hoy

jīva bole,-'kori āmi', se to' satya noy

“A tiny jīva says, ‘I can do!’ no, that’s not true! What a tiny jīva can do unless you sanction, O Lord, unless You sanction? Therefore, I give up all my independence, completely surrender unto you, at your lotus feet and engage in your service, loving service.” (Srila Thakur Bhaktivinode, Śaraṇāgati 3.2.6)

bhālo-manda nāhi jāni sevā mātro kori

tomāra saṁsāre āmi viṣaya-praharī

“I don’t know whether I am doing good or bad. I am just serving you my master, eternal master, I’m just serving him according to his will. What is his will, I have no separate will.” (Srila Thakur Bhaktivinode, Śaraṇāgati 2.5.5)

tomāra icchāya mora icchā miśāilo

“O Lord, I have no separate will. I accept what is your will, I have no separate will.” (Srila Thakur Bhaktivinode, Śaraṇāgati 2.4.7)

“What is your will, that is mine. I accept everything, I have no separate will from you.” One who is a completely surrendered soul, does like that. He is akiñcanā, niṣkiñcana, pauper, lowest of the low — tṛṇād api sunīcena, “I am the lowest of the low, only your humble servant, I’m just serving you.” Free from all anxiety, without fear and all anxiety — that is a complete surrendered soul, Krishna takes charge. Whatever Krishna wills, that will take place. “It is Krishna’s will: why shall I lament? Krishna’s will is supreme. Why shall I lament?” No question of lamentation, accept the supreme will of Krishna. “It is Krishna’s will. Krishna will get pleasure out of it.”

more yadi diyā duḥkha, tāṅra haila mahā-sukha,

sei duḥkha—mora sukha-varya

(Cc. antya 20.52)

“If by putting me in distress he gets happiness, then that distress is my supreme happiness.” Accept like this. The mahājanas have said like that and we have to accept it. One who doesn’t accept what the mahājanas say, what sādhu says, what will happen to them?
