Srila Gour Govinda Gosvami Maharaj was a fearless Acarya who forcefully made many hundreds and thousands of devotees around the world taste in the nectar of Krsna Katha. Through his unflinching loyalty to Srila Prabhupada and his firm and rigorous teachings of Guru & Jiva Tattva, his presence is still felt in the hearts of many devotees, and mine in particular. I offer my dandavat pranams at his lotus feet.
Concerned disciples and followers of Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami feel let down by the ISKCON leaders in the Bhajan Kutir – Samadhi issue and feel as though that there has not been any response from them to thisalarming tragedy of the destruction of the bhajan kutir of the Founder Acarya of the ISKCON society, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

So you may see by the photos and read below, the very sad situation of our most glorious Krsna Balarama temple now.
This is a tragedy for us all!
The remains of Srila Prabhupada’s bhajan kutir
After the destruction of Srila Prabhupada’s bhajan kutir, very soon the government will come and dig right next to our Srila Gurudev’s bhajana kutir andsamadhi and put a sewerage line through out the temple premises and through the water pond wherechandan-yatra takes place (the boat festival). I remember the day that Srila Gour Govinda Swami told us that Krsna and Balaram had come to him and requested him for the chandan-yatra festival to be observed, and so the pond was built. In fact that next day a small pond was built and a boat was built for this chandan-yatra festival.
Srila Gurudeva told us Krsna had said, ” You observe ratha-yatra and other festivals but why do you not do chandan-yatra for us? ”
From what I understand they, the National Highway Authorities, now own the land in front of our temple, and the samadhi of our Srila Gurudeva as well. But we have to confirm this with the managers of ISKCON Bhubaneswar, to find out from them exactly how much of our temple grounds are now owned by the National Highway Authorities.
The Well

Their next plan is to fill the well that has been divinely touched by Srila Gour Govinda Swami who had then asked the devotees to dig at that point for obtaining adequate water and that happened and so much water was there, which was enough to meet all the requirement of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Temple and even provided water to hundreds and hundreds of people during the time of super cyclone in 1999 when the government water supply line was defunct. Now the NHAI want to get the well filled in which is next to Srila Gurudev’s sleeping room.
They have a plan to dig the earth eight feet down from the surface and to take the sewerage line covered up by a strong well built in-pipe (so that the percolation of sewerage water would be least) to serve as the drainage line. In that way after filling the well they will continue the drainage line into the existing Lotus Temple and the present boundary wall and beyond to serve as the sewerage line.
Not a Bona Fide Committee Member
It was our dear godbrother Sacinandan Prabhu who, with very bad health, flew to new Delhi and met the minister for roads in India, and the minister promised not to put the sewerage line in our temple, he told it would be put next to the service road.
The Iskcon leaders headed by Gopal Krishna Swami told Sacinandan Prabhu that he was not a bona fide committee member therefore Sacinandan Prabhu had to stop helping in this matter. They phoned Sacinandan Prabhu and told him that he should not get involved even though Sacinandan was the person that organised that the national highway authorities would not touch our land some 10 years back. That document has been lost or destroyed and the photocopy of the original is not accepted as proof by the government authorities.
So they, the bona fide committee members, have not been able to meet that chief minister for roads. The committee members have achieved nothing and so now this is the outcome.
Truly this material world in the words of our Srila Gour Govinda Swami who told, “The material platform, is a nasty platform.” The question now is: how can we do something that will make it better, now?

It is perhaps time to get national attention in this matter? Fasting and passive resistance were used by Gandhi, but Mahaprabhu utilized massive organized sankirtana.
Demons have incarnated in human bodies to harrass and torture the devotees in this time. Now they seek to disturb the temple of the pure devotees, Srila Prabhupada and Gour Govinda Swami. Better to die defending the temple than to allow this to go on.
Are the bigger news media aware of this, has an attempt been made to expose the corrupt politicians who are no doubt pocketing money in these schemes? Have they any righteousness at all, can they be shamed into stopping their attacks on the devotees? Where is the speaker of the house, Prabhu Satyapriya Mahanti, or his descendants, who were our great defenders in the early years?
The GBC were largely always envious, and it appears they prefer to see Gour Govinda Swami diminished, as he exposed their cheating propensities and disqualifications. Where is Jayapataka, and where are the Mayapura devotees? Where is the local GBC, what are they doing? Their lack of substantial action speaks volumes. Where are the crores of lakhs received by them being spent? Would it not be better to get the best legal team behind the temple, instead of suing Madhu Pandita and ritviks and harassing Srila Prabhupadas disciples? Why doesnt Jayapataka and company stand before the bulldozers if they had any real love?
A fight would get national attention if the media were summoned and expected it, and all was recorded for broadcast… Why not distribute leaflets and draw a crowd and the media and hold a protest sankirtan refusing these demons access even to the property? Where are the local villagers, have we not been there for them for decades now?
I speak from a distance, so my talk is cheap, as i cannot place my body on the line. However, we have been preaching the glories of Srila Gour Govinda via internet at puredevoteeseva.ning.com, but we are few and we are distant and we have no resources to speak of other than our determinations and prayers.
There are rascals like Puranjana and such ilk who have gone out of their way to blaspheme Srila Gour Govinda Goswami Thakura as part of a concerted globalist effort to divide and conquer the devotees, and to misplace our real acaryas and replace them with cheaters. This is partially the scheme and result of the work of such demons, no doubt. Their supporters will not help us. But now is not the time to give up, it is the time for a fight to the finish. It is time to bring forth all the real devotees and refuse this evil deed. Have we no crowds of friends or powerful political allies any more there? Are there no national committees and laws to defend human rights and “Hindu” temples?
