From 1977 t0 1980, I did most of the cooking in Bhubaneswara Iskcon ashrama. GG Maharajah said he liked my cooking best, so.
On Sundays, we had Nayapalli over for pracara and prasadam and kirtana. We hired a brahaman cook and his helpers. They cut veggies, boiled dahl, made rice
I would ususally go into town to fetch a litre of ghee and two boxes of premixed boxed spices; gram dahl spice and sambara, to be added to the finishing v large pot of dahlma, so that the offering would be extra special .
Sometimes I made some semolina halava and samosas for the Deities, for Sunday. I would bring a box of milk sweetsonce or twice a week, very small amounts of pera and sandesh, very sweet but good, Maybe milk ake or misthi dahi . We got milke delivered, Dikpati's assovisate from Nayapalli. GGS laugher at how the dairy me watered the milk down each day a little bit more, little bit more, until it was no longer milk and you had to complain about it. Then the cycle repeats itself.
Weekdays, it was t

Hare Krishna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada,. Please accept my humble obeisances.

Thank you for explaining about lineage. If they openly criticize, it makes sense to mention. Srila Prabhupada did that regarding His so-called god brothers as well. I would hope they are too busy with their own programs to take such trouble. Supposing some are actually pure Vaishnavas and not against His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada and His Divine Grace Srila Gour Govinda Swami and do appreciate Srila Prabhupada's unchangedd books and the astonishing world-wide Harinama movement of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu despite being born into a family linage from the Lord?

How could they be expected to accept ISKCON in the condition it is in? ISKCON who eliminated Srila Prabhupada, espouses standard books corrupted by Kali, creates rubberstamped gurus, bans faithful Prabhupada followers, and condones unmentionable behaviors?

I found this online. I do not know the autho

"First of all, we have to see who is going to speak about Kṛṣṇa. Is it a devotee of Kṛṣṇa? Is he a Vaiṣṇava or not? If he is not, then immediately reject: "Oh, we are not going to hear from you." But people do not know. Any rascal speaking about Bhagavad-gītā we hear. That is not the process. Then you will misunderstand. Avaiṣṇava-mukhod..., sarpocchiṣṭaṁ payo yathā. Just like milk is very good food, everyone knows. But when it is touched by the tongue of the serpent, it is poison immediately."

Lord Krsna says' "Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you..."
न त्वेवाहं जातु नासं न त्वं मेने जनाधिपाः ।
न चैव न भविष्यामः सर्वे वयमतः परम् ॥
Transliteration:
na tvevāhaṁ jātu nāsāṁ na tvaṁ neme janādhipāḥ
na caiva na bhaviṣyāmaḥ sarve vayam ataḥ param
Translation:
"Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be".
Some try to say jiva "originates" in some neutral tatastha state.
But Krsna says we always existed, and the self cannot be said to exist unless it is the self, ie complete, with all devotional moods and services inherent. Everything spiritual is complete like the Lord, but He is the maintainer and controller.
Those trying to tell you otherwise are unable to grasp eternity, they must have a beggining and an end, so they profess this tatashta origin idea, and insist on it, even though it logically contradicts Lord Krsna in Bhagavada Gita.

Hari-kīrtana is Sāma Veda

Prabhupāda: The Sāma Vedas mean the realization of God by singing, by music. That is Sāma Veda.
Dr. Patel: By music. "I am the soul of the music."
Prabhupāda: Yes. Therefore hari-kīrtana. Hari-kīrtana is Sāma Veda, glorifying the Supreme. That is stated in some other place.

..Only the endeavour to spread the teachings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in a simple manner, while being careful not to manipulate them even slightly, will be our sole bhajana. But if a person waits till he becomes perfect before he disseminates those teachings, he will be deprived of the service of preaching. Indeed, he will remain in that immature state throughout his whole life.
Even if we fully lack the capacity to understand the pure and simple teachings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, if we just pass them on, carrying them to the next person like a load-carrying donkey, we will still receive Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s blessings. This is, of course, provided we do not adulterate those teachings with any of our own mental speculations."
Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

No outside instruction
“…Whatever is to be learned of the teachings of Srila Bhaktivinode Thakura can be learned from our [i.e., Srila Prabhupada’s books] books. There is no need whatsoever for any outside instruction.”
– Srila Prabhupada in a letter dated December 25, 1973

Yes, well noted! Srila Bhaktisiddhanta says it is like an arrow of deliverance shot by Vishnu, it will meet it's mark, though it must first sail across the field etc. Similarly, once He has determined that the soul is due for liberation, He makes that sure arrangement. The conditioned soul sees the pastimes of enlightenment ocurring in his life, and may think he is the doer, maybe still some maha maya, but it is the Lord's arrangement. No one goes to Goloka without the Lord's arrangement, to make it so.

That is our entance by merciful acceptance into pastimes of yogamaya, He has saved us, but we lament and strive, we advance toward our goal through using knowledge, sadhana, self control, but after a while love arises and we are no longer fearful nor simply hopeful but experiencing tasteful, relishable, satisfying ; living love of Krsna and Radha, and Friends. Everything powerful and desirable is fulfilled, as Gopal looks after us persoanlly then, in His Vrndavana or Dwarka etc. pamh

तवासनं द्विजगवां पारमेष्ठ्यं जगत्पते ।
भवाय श्रेयसे भूत्यै क्षेमाय विजयाय च ॥ १३ ॥
tavāsanaṁ dvija-gavāṁ
pārameṣṭhyaṁ jagat-pate
bhavāya śreyase bhūtyai
kṣemāya vijayāya ca
Synonyms

tava — your; āsanam — position on the throne; dvija — of the brahminical culture or the brāhmaṇas; gavām — of the cows; pārameṣṭhyam — supreme; jagat-pate — O master of the whole universe; bhavāya — for improvement; śreyase — for the ultimate happiness; bhūtyai — for increasing the opulence; kṣemāya — for the maintenance and good fortune; vijayāya — for the victory and increasing prestige; ca — and.

Translation

O Lord Brahmā, your position within this universe is certainly most auspicious for everyone, especially the cows and brāhmaṇas. Brahminical culture and the protection of cows can be increasingly glorified, and thus all kinds of material happiness, opulence and good fortune will automatically increase. But unfortunately, if Hiraṇyakaśipu occupies your seat, everything will be lost.
