RESPONSE TO ISKCON GBC MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS

AND THEIR APRIL 25, 2025 DENIAL OF “POISONING ALLEGATIONS”

The ISKCON GBC, whose credibility has declined precipitously and universally, partly due to repeated denials that there is any evidence that HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada was maliciously poisoned by some of his caretakers, recently issued another absurd denial. Those who know the facts are weary of the GBC’s same old duplicities, weak argumentative fallacies, wrong facts, bad science, and evasive tactics. However, the truth is closing in on them, as their denials fail to impress devotees, who are no longer fooled by their misleading word games and misinformation.

The ISKCON misleaders try hard to stem the tide of truth revelations, rising into a tsunami, and the more they resist the truth, the worse it gets for them.

Devotee: Therefore, when we hear from the words..., the words of guru, we are actually hearing Kṛṣṇa.

Prabhupāda: Yes. That is said, yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādaḥ. If you please guru, then Kṛṣṇa is pleased, because he is saying the same thing. Just like we are... What we are doing? Kṛṣṇa says, sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja(BG 18.66). We are saying that "You just surrender to Kṛṣṇa." We are inventing nothing. Therefore I am guru. Because I am saying Kṛṣṇa's words, not my words, therefore I am guru. As soon as I say my words, then I am not guru. This is the significance.

Devotee (2): You are the only one, Śrīla Prabhupāda, who claims to be servant. The rest of them take Kṛṣṇa's position.

Prabhupāda: Yes. Because they are not guru.

Devotee (3): So they are called Māyāvādīs.

Prabhupāda: They are not guru. That is the difficulty, that one who is not guru, he is taking the place of guru. Therefore people are misguided.

SB 7.14.39, Translation and Purport

My dear King, when great sages and saintly persons saw mutually disrespectful dealings at the beginning of Tretā-yuga, Deity worship in the temple was introduced with all paraphernalia.

As it is said in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (SB 12.3.52):

kṛte yad dhyāyato viṣṇuṁ

tretāyāṁ yajato makhaiḥ

dvāpare paricaryāyāṁ

kalau tad dhari-kīrtanāt

"Whatever result one obtained in Satya-yuga by meditating on Viṣṇu, in Tretā-yuga by performing sacrifices and in Dvāpara-yuga by serving the Lord's lotus feet one can also obtain in Kali-yuga simply by chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra." In Satya-yuga, every person was spiritually advanced, and there was no envy between great personalities. Gradually, however, because of material contamination with the advance of the ages, disrespectful dealings appeared even among brāhmaṇas and Vaiṣṇavas. Srila Prabhupada replies: There is a short story in this regard, it is about a snake who became a devotee on the instruction of Narada, who instructed her not to bite anymore. As usually a snake’s business is to fatally sting other living entities, as a devotee it was forbidden to do so. Unfortunately, people took advantage of this non-violence from the snake, especially the children, who started throwing stones at it. She didn't bite anyone else, however, because it was her spiritual master's instruction.

After a while, when the cobra met his spiritual master, Narada, he complained, "I've given up the bad habit of biting innocent living entities, but they're mistreating me by throwing stones at me."
