Cruel Uncle Akrura !
Re 1; Just stick with the process, do the minimum at least that is required, then automatically one tastes a higher taste and lesser things fall away naturally.
And then if that doesn't quite work, not to worry, as after a while, one realizes it doesn't matter that much the small picky details, and lo, within, the creeper of devotion has begun to bear fruit in time. Now taste the juicy fruity sweetness!
Madana Gopala has become famous as Madana-mohan in this world. Sriman Madan Gopal also exists within Vrndavana. Gopal lives eternally as a boy, and Govinda deva exists as a matured youth. In comparison to these two features, Gopinatha is the most beautiful.
Gopal is of a calm but proud disposition; Govindadeva is calm and broad-hearted, and Gopinatha is of a calm and gentle disposition. Gopal is lion-necked. Govinda stands in a three-fold bending posture. Gopinath is a flirt with a broad chest. (Bhakti Rasamrtasindhu)
