Madana Gopala has become famous as Madana-mohan in this world. Sriman Madan Gopal also exists within Vrndavana. Gopal lives eternally as a boy, and Govinda deva exists as a matured youth. In comparison to these two features, Gopinatha is the most beautiful.

Gopal is of a calm but proud disposition; Govindadeva is calm and broad-hearted, and Gopinatha is of a calm and  gentle disposition. Gopal is lion-necked. Govinda stands in a three-fold bending posture. Gopinath is a flirt with a broad chest. (Bhakti Rasamrtasindhu)
