Our site member and friend Dr. Arnold Smith has accepted Srila Prabhupada officially as his teacher in a formal capacity, and has asked for recommendation for diksha, that readily approved by the onsite TP's and admin. sanga. Jaya, Haribol! ~(>,' )
The good doctor is author of a University text on Moral development, teaches classes in Vedic literature, and is currently managing a course here on Bhagavada Gita As It Is. His scholastic acumen is a feather-in-the-cap for Iskcon, so nicely representing Srila Prabhupada's path of pure bhakti to Sri Sri Radha Krsna, in service of Sri Sri Gour Nitai! We the site members are fortunate to have such nice association.
Dr. Smith has also been granted the Bhakti Sastri degree, as may other senior devotees who inquire. Brahminical gayatri etc will be given also, in order to enhance our Godbrothers' preaching power.
Arnold Smith Prabhu will be given a spiritual Name shortly. Site Vaisnava devotees are invited to accept him as one of our family members; perhaps one day we shall all laugh together in Krsna's services in Goloka Vrndavana...
Gauraharibol! This is wonderful, and enlivening to us all. Hare Krsna! Best of Luck!
Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Sri Rama said: Listen, O sage: I tell you with all the emphasis at my command that I always take care of those who worship Me with undivided faith, even as a mother tends her child. If an infant child runs to catch hold of fire or a snake, the mother rescues it by drawing it aside, When, however, her son has grown up she loves him no doubt, but not as before. The wise are like My grown up sons, while humble devotees are like My infant children. A devotee depends on Me, while the former (a wise man) depends on his own strength; and both have to face enemies like lust and anger. Pondering thus the prudent adore Me and never take leave of devotion even after attaining wisdom.
