CHAPTER 23: HEALTH CHRONICLE:

MARCH 1977

MARCH 2: Abhiram: "Until recently, Srila Prabhupada has eaten full course meals (AK1), with Srutirupa Prabhu cooking for Him."

The GBC meetings endorsed Tamal as Srila Prabhupada's "permanent secretary," and another GBC would also rotate monthly to spend time with His Divine Grace. Satsvarupa read the GBC resolutions regarding Tamal's zone, concluding with: "And also Tamal Krishna Maharaj will retain responsibility for Red China, whatever can be done there."

Srila Prabhupada: That's very good. (laughter) I asked him to do this last year. Very good.

Later, Tamal spoke for the GBC: "Srila Prabhupada, we were wondering that one time when you were ill in Vrindaban you requested that the devotees in our temples around the world could chant kirtan all the time, twenty-four hours, till you recovered your health. So the GBC was wondering whether we could request again for that." Srila Prabhupada replied: "Yes... Bhavausadhac chrotra-mano-bhiramat. This

Pt 1-3 ; Someone has poisoned me

CHAPTER 19:

ARSENIC POISONING SYMPTOMS

WHY ARSENIC?

Srila Prabhupada displayed the symptoms of poisoning, as He Himself stated twice. But which poison? There are many poisons which are effective in causing death. The factors which led this author to examine arsenic poisoning as the best match to Srila Prabhupada's symptoms, as studied in His 1977 health history, are as follows:

1.       The opinion of an Ayurvedic doctor, Dr. Mehta, detailed below

2.       Arsenic is an age-old method of choice for poisoning in politics and intrigue, during the Middle Ages and in India (see Appendix14 )

3.       Arsenic is readily available in India

4.       The speech reversals (see Chapter 37-38 ) reveal arsenic poisoning

5.       It was found that Srila Prabhupada's symptoms were incredibly similar to those of Napoleon

6.       Arsenic poisoning is very difficult to recognize, and looks like kidney disease and a normal "old-age" deterioration of physical health

Dr. Mehta, an Ayurvedic physician who

Pt. 1-2 ; Someone has poisoned me

* Perle's appointment tape analysis, stating "consistent with editing," is now debunked and refuted. Perle was not informed as to the nature of the recordings and he cursorily concluded the stop-start routine to be an irregularity and evidence of tampering.  CAE clearly disproves this assumption in a thorough and first-class analysis, found in Appendix 3.

CHAPTER 12:

WITNESSES

NOTE: Gupta Prabhu, the California attorney who represented Hansadutta in the 1998 BBT copyright case, wanted that the names and locations be changed so that, in his opinion, a possible future criminal indictment would not be jeopardized by early disclosure of information. This reporter apologizes to Gupta Prabhu that his desire is not being accommodated herein. The rationale for this entire publication is to honestly and openly reveal whatever information is in hand because it is believed to be the best approach to instigating a resolution on all levels of this darkest of all secrets. May the truth set us free

THE FACTS ABOUT

SRILA PRABHUPADA'S

POISONING

BY ARSENIC

"So as Krishna was attempted to be killed... And

Lord Jesus Christ was killed. So they may kill me

also."

-Srila Prabhupada, May 3, 1976, Honolulu

A letter from

Nityananda das

New Jaipur Press

EXCERPTS

...the evidence is solid that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned, but by whom is not yet known. The level of proof, coincidences, and circumstantial evidence, makes for a very compelling verdict. (Foreword)

This letter, or book, organizes the evidence and information to date (April 1999) regarding the poisoning of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, most probably carried out by some of His "closest" disciples. (Foreword)

"...the GBC is convinced that no such evil deed or even intention existed at the time. The GBC is certain that Srila Prabhupada's passing away was due to entirely natural causes, as his doctors stated. ...some persons are bent on establishing the false and malicious theory

Compassion Lost By Reckless Consumption of Innocent Animals
Pride is the antithesis of compassion, which begins with non-violence. Ahimsa (Non-Violence) is at the core of Lord Buddha’s teachings, which explains why serious Buddhists are strict vegetarians. However in today’s world, particularly in the Western hemisphere, there are all sorts of people who claim to follow the teachings of Lord Buddha who aren’t even Vegetarians! That lacks as much verisimilitude as the excessively overweight person who habitually confabulates about eating well and getting regular exercise!

The most conspicuous example of our lack of compassion is evident in our eccentric patronization of the meat industry. Meatpacking has turned animal slaughter into a highly efficient, cold, and ruthless science capable of transforming as many as six full grown ¾ ton walking steer into cardboard cases of frozen hamburgers every minute! In the days of Maharaja Pariksit this would be considered as atrocious as any mass

MOSCOW - A Russian court has decided not to ban a religious text central to the global Hare Krishna movement, rejecting claims that the text is "extremist" and ending a case that has angered Hindus around the world.

The Indian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday it appreciated "this sensible resolution of a sensitive issue."

Prosecutors in the Siberian city of Tomsk had argued that the Russian translation of "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" promotes "social discord" and hatred toward nonbelievers, causing an outcry in India, where many considered the proposed ban a violation of the rights of Hindus in Russia.

The text is a combination of the Bhagavad Gita, one of Hinduism's holiest scriptures, and commentary by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, which is often called the Hare Krishna movement.

The prosecutors had asked the court to include the book on the Federal List of Extremist Materials, which bans more than 1,000 texts

By The Watchdog staff
June 21, 2010

The following is a Watchdog interview with one of the senior devotees of ISKCON, Guru Kripa prabhu. He became the 12th GBC chosen by Srila Prabhupada, and is also one of few individuals Srila Prabhupada named as the "executor" of his last will. He is also famous for being responsible for seeing to the major portion of the collecting that built the Krishna Balaram Mandir in Vrindavan.

WD: Guru Kripa, how did you join ISKCON?

GK: I had just returned from the Vietnam war in January of 1970. I was a medic in the Army. I met the devotees in San Francisco in April of the same year and joined their store front temple on Fredrick St one week later. Jayananda was the first devotee I had met. He was at the door collecting 75 cents from the hippies for the Sunday feast. I had already shaved up the week before and went to Madhuvisa, the temple president, saying

"All my disciples will take the legacy. If you want, you can also take it. Sacrifice everything. I, one, may soon pass away. But they are hundreds, and this movement will increase. It is not that I give an order, 'Here is the next leader.' Anyone who follows the previous leadership is the leader.... All of my disciples are leaders, as much as they follow purely. If you want to follow, you can also lead. But you don't want to follow. Leader means one who is a first class disciple. Evam param parapraptam. One who is following is perfect."

Srila Jiva Goswami

9468736267?profile=original

by Srila Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Maharaja

According to the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika (195), Srila Jiva Goswami was Vilasa Manjari in his previous incarnation in Vraja. In verse 203 of the same book, it is stated that he was the son of Vallabha and a scholar of exemplary character (susilah panditah sriman jivah sri-vallabhatmajah). According to the Gaudiya Vaishnava Abhidhana, Jiva was present in this world from 1433 to 1518 of the Saka era (1511-1596). Other sources propose that Jiva’s dates are from 1533 to 1618.

Jiva’s early life

Srila Jiva Goswami appeared in the village of Ramakeli in the district of Maldah as the son of Anupama Mallik (Vallabha) who had made his residence there in order to serve in the government. The name of Jiva’s mother is not known. Narahari Chakravarti has given Jiva’s genealogy going back seven generations. This list, as explained by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur has been given here in this volume in the chapter on Srila Ru

Jingle Bells! or Santa's clause

I recall the Lord's Prayer from United Church  of Canada, which Mr. Bedford rightly obliged us seven-year olds to memorize; "Our Father, Who art in heaven hallowed be Thy Name! Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done..."  " Forgive us our sins, and help us to forgive others. Protect us from temptation..."

And from psalms; "Thou did annoint our heads, and set an overflowing cup before us, even in the presence of our enemies... But we shall fear no evil, for Thou art with us, and surely we shall receive Your mercy and dwell in the House of the Lord forever, Amiin."

Santa John the Baptist said that he the forerunner "...baptise with water, but the Blessed One who comes after me, baptises with fire !" New Testament Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.

Dear Tamohara prabhu,

Hare Krsna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. PAMFO I hope your sadhana and bhajan are going well.
I was informed of two Godsisters' departures:
Yamuna Devi (who sang the Deity Greeting's two verses from Brahma Samhita) left her body this morning, and Govinda Vallabha, (previously married to Kundali years ago), who distributed Srila Prabhupada's books for so many years, left her body Dec 12, my just being recently informed of her departure.
I don't know if you want to announce this on SPI or not, but at least I wanted to inform you.
May these sevaks be situated at Srila Prabhupada's Lotus Feet, serving the Divine Couple and Their Associates, and may we be safely situated under the shelter of the dust of Srila Prabhupada's Lotus Feet, Those of our Guru Varga, the Vaisnavas, and Sri Sri Radha and Krsna.

With love,
Your servant,

B. Radha-Govinda Swami

My dear object of affection,

Sriman (Prabhu)--- went to see you. Not meeting you, he came back, for he did not have time to wait. Regardless, it is a matter of great fortune for you that you were able to attend Sri Puri-Dhama Parikrama and participate in the month-long festival of observing vows. How many people have this fortunate opportunity to cultivate hearing and chanting of Sri Hari-katha in a regulated manner in such good association?

We can observe that many people are very eager to go on pleasure trips within their own country and abroad, but it is only possible for one with spiritual credit to long for and desire to visit Sri Dhama in the association of saints, and to see the holy tirthas.

In order to obtain such an opportunity, one must consciously and carefully renounce any concern for worldly gain or loss, or the pros and cons involved, and simply go. Otherwise, one will be cheated of the opportunity for such immediate welfare. “Time and tide wait for no one.” Once an op

Antya lila GGS

So with Bhagavata Prabhu gone, and Maharajah absorbed in his samadhi of book translation, that left me as secretary treasurer with a responsibility. I had earned a few thousand Canadian carving candles back in Montreal before i came over, and had deposited about 27, 000 rupees in the Commercial Bank, which had just opened down the road Highway No 5 national, the one outside our ashrama. Exchange rates were roughly seven to one in those years.

We needed a few things; so I purchased new locally made khadi dhotis, white khadi kurtas,  and dye for the brahmacaries, and mosquito nets for us all.

One day , shortly before, we had an engagment in Nilamadhava Mandira on the bank of the Mahanadi. The mosquitoes that night were fierce, and Maharajaha was to sleep in a dark room with so many of them hovering. so, realizing that is was best to protect him, the older sannyasi, I took my net, went to his room, and with him sleeping , set the net up around him safely. then, i took my sellping bag and

Eggplant Kurma, by Tamohara dasa v

9468735685?profile=original

Cut up one large well-cleaned eggplant, skin on, into medium cubes.

Heat one large pan, add 2 tblsp corn oil and 2 tblsp olive oil, or ghee may be used of course!

Fry the eggplant at a low to medium heat, 5/10,  for about an hour, or until well-cooked and broken-down-soft. Be attentive and stir enough, scraping pan bottom, otherwise it can readily burn especially at unneccessarily nutrition-destroying high heat. Any burned parts represents your own mode of material nature !  Haribol.

Making room in one corner of the pan clear, add a little more oil, and ;

add one tspn. each of;  anise seeds,  coriander,  and premixed subji masala or other curry masala, if on hand.  Add 1/2 tspn each of of black pepper, tumeric, methi (fennel) leaf, basil leaf. Add 1/3 tspn of oregano, fennel seeds, and hing.  1/2 of a small green chilli, chopped, may be added if desired for extra heat. Fry the spices (and chilli) until brown, then mix with the already cooking subji,

Renunciation Is a Matter of Heart

by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

Kārttika 3, 1338
20th October, 1931

My dear #########,

Yesterday I came to know through a letter sent by Śrī #########, that Śrī ######### has decided to live in isolation in a straw hut with the objective of making progress in  bhajana. Yet by planning to construct that hut, he has vowed to impede the process of  hari-kīrtana in Madras. Engaging in such material practices may even prove to be appropriate in many forthcoming lifetimes, but as long as someone has bhagavad-seva pravṛtti – the tendency to render service to the Supreme Lord – it is not at all appropriate for him to deteriorate his inclination to serve Him till his very last breath of life.

I am not in favour of the prospect of renunciants, or sannyāsīs, staying in straw huts constructed in the middle of
