A devotee said; - Hare Krsna. Been just reading about Prabhupad's poisoning just minutes before you posted that message. Gives me an eerie feeling about my own place within the society. Being just a simple bhakta, without guidance makes me feel adrift trying to navigate the darkness left behind after the infiltration and hijacking of the movement. I really don't know what to say other than give my best wishes during this degrading period. Can the movement be saved or is it just best to focus on satisfying Krishna and just pray that he can deliver us across this hoofprint we call an ocean of suffering?

Prabhupada said in a letter that it is necessary to have sankirtan even if we must close a temple and take everyone out to preach. It takes priority over chanting 16 rounds, over book translating and editing, and even deity worship in the temple.

reply; i have gone from being banned at almost every devotee site, now we're taking over the planet. go figure. For the last ten years, i have been insulted, laughed at, banned attacked, etc but now, the devotees are realizing that i spoke true. Not just me, others also. We are not pasive fools any longer, the devotees are awakening too.
one has to cultivate knowledge of this world and the next at the same time, and act decisively as duty in this world we are in at any given time

- Realistically I wouldn't even know where to begin. I have arrived so late to the party that I have to catch up by doing my own research and just poured a few hours into reading a few web search articles and pages about the conspiracy. One such site even included a 'who is who' within the community and the histories of even swamis and former swamis who were involved during that time period for better or worse. I am not one to stand and let things persist especially if they're not in accordance with SP. What can be done? The truth always rises to the surface and my illusion about the innocence of the movement was just a comforting lie I was telling myself. I thought it was a checkered past but clearly this corruption is something that may have never ended. Such is Kali Yuga. I know very few members of the community who live out of bounds because of their knowledge of such history and they aspire to raise their families and live simply but it seems like New Vrindaban has become a perverse reflection and warning about the sinister nature that hides within our community. They have nice little community meetings now with little elections and the like that still seem to fall short from ever correcting or bringing about any real change.
-It seems that those who ask difficult questions are sidelined and that this place has become a tourist trap and fallen short of the ashrama and pilgrimage this place is supposed to represent. I fear that it might be too late. The rats have fled the sinking ship and those who remain do so to reap the spoils . I want to bring about change, I really do; I want to bring us back to Prabhupada's vision but until these demons, surprised how easily that word arose, age and pass on that I don't know if there can be any change at all.

-Hare Krishna; I have faith that I'll be placed exactly where I'm supposed to be for His satisfaction. If just to be an instrument in the Sankirtana movement would be a blessing. To restore New Vrindaban would be an effort I would consider dedicating myself towards. Perhaps it is just best to keep my head low and continue to study Srila Prabhupada's books and do service for RVC until the time presents itself with an answer in this regard. But I am enthusiastic and still young and I will out last them for that reason.

Jacob Neely ; I wonder is the NV New Vrindaban because the Temple here is shitty. It is pretty much a hotel for the crows as Prabhupada called them. That is Indian bodied people who come for the weekend to pay to play Indian. NV sets that up nice but there is no self sustainable community as Prabhupada wanted here. And a few years ago they threw out a lot of original Prabhupada books literally out back on the ground in the rain. But those have been hidden. Keep it Secret Keep it safe as Gandalf would say. I think my service is protecting the books, the older devotees and growing food and gathering medical supplies and things atleast do all I can while I can. I still think the shits gonna hit and Trump prolly isnt gonna save us. I will admit I am seriouly shocked that he won. Goodaye ole sir and Hare Krsna from WV
