He asked everyone, "Just become guru." Follow His instruction, you become guru. Amara ajnaya. Don't manufacture ideas. Amara ajnaya. "What I say, you do. You become a guru." Where is the difficulty? "And what is Your ajna?" Yare dekha tare kaha krsna-upadesa. Bas. Everything is there in the Bhagavad-gita. You simply repeat. That's all. You become guru. To become a guru is not difficult job. Follow Caitanya Mahaprabhu and speak what Krsna has said. Bas. You become guru."

"Religion might have been misused, but that does not mean that religion should be avoided

Real religion should be taken.

Simply because religion has not been properly executed by the so-called priests, that does not mean religion should be rejected.

If my eye is giving me some kind of trouble on account of a cataract, that doesn't mean my eye should be plucked out. The cataract should be removed.

Real bhakti… that is raganuga-bhakti. This raganuga-bhakti, we have to come after surpassing the vaidhi-bhakti [regulative process]. In the material world, if we do not try to make further and further progress in devotional service, if we are simply sticking to the shastric [scriptural] regulation process and do not try to go beyond that...

The shastric process is kanishtha-adhikara, lowest stage of devotional service… This is nice beginning, but one has to go above this… If I become satisfied only with these regulative principles for worshiping… but if I have no other idea, then sa bhaktah prakrtah smrtah. Prakrta means on the material platform.

…So any devotee can fall down if he remains prakrta-bhakta. So he has to raise himself above this in the madhyama-adhikara [intermediate stage]…

Therefore, if we do not associate with the advanced devotees, uttama-adhikari, if we simply want to remain in the lowest stage of devotional service, then we are not making progress. Then we shall

Below are a couple lectures where Srila Prabhupada sums up very nicely the entire Krsna Consciousness philosophy.

1. We are servants of either God or our senses.
2. The demigods are called devotees, but devotees with tinges of material opulence.
3. It is not that we are ALL liberated persons. We have so many gross and subtle attachments.
4. By following this process of bhakti marga (sravanama kirtanam, etc) we automatically develop detachment for all material things.
5. Without getting the "higher taste" its not possible to give up material desires. We have to increase our Love for Krsna then it all becomes possible. Follow the process.

Servant we are, because constitutionally I am servant. And because I am not servant of God or servant of Krsna, that I have become servant of my dog. In the morning I go with my dog.

Shri Purushottama Dasa constantly meditated on and served the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda. Kanu Thakura, his son, was such an exalted Devotee that Lord Krishna always lived in his body. When Kanu was five Ma Jahnava took him to Vrindavana. The Goswamis joyously greeted him upon seeing his genuine devotion.

Our current operational costs per year are site fees, $228./yr., incidental costs ( certificates for degrees will be coming out to you within the month!) approx. $40. Trinikrta Trinavarta dasa and family donate $ 30. per month. ie roughly $360. or maybe $330/yr. So, 360 minus 270 is 90 balance per year currently. mana-grahe sadodyukta tac-chaithilye ca kopana

abhedya nayake prayah krura vameti kirtyate

"A gopi who is always eager to be jealously angered, who is very enthusiastic for that position, who immediately becomes angry when defeated, who is never under the control of a hero, and who always opposes Him is called a vama, or a left-wing gopi."

Srila Rupa Gosvami describes the right-wing gopis in this way:

asahya mana-nirbandhe nayake yukta-vadini
samabhis tena bhedya ca dakshina parikirtita

"A gopi who cannot tolerate womanly anger, who speaks suitable words to the hero,

1. The lotus feet of the Spiritual Master are the abode of pure devotional service. I bow down to those lotus feet with great care and attention. My dear brother (my dear mind)! It is through the grace of the Spiritual Master that we cross over this material existence and obtain Sri Krsna.

2. Make the teachings from the lotus mouth of the Spiritual Maste

Sri Jagannatha Dasa Babaji Maharaja was born in the Mayamansingh district of West Bengal. Gaudiya Vedanta-acharya Sri Baladeva Vidyabhushana had a disciple named Uddhava das. His disciple was Sri Madhusudana Dasa Babaji who lived in Suryakunda. Madhusudana Dasa Babaji's disciple was Jagannatha Dasa Babaji Maharaja.

Jagannatha Dasa Babaji lived in Vrindavan and performed his bhajan there for quite some time. He became famous among the devotees there as one who was perfect in Krishna-bhakti. In 1880, Srimad Bhaktivinoda Thakura went to Vrindavan and saw his lotus feet for the first time. While there, he received many divine instructions on Hari-bhakti from Jagannatha Dasa. Some time later, Babaji Mahar

One time some mad elephants attacked Rasikananda. Calmly, he chanted "Gauranga, Gauranga, Krishna, Krishna" while sprinkling water on the rampaging beasts. The elephants immeditately stopped charging, humbly bowed their heads, raised their trunks, and bellowed "Hare Krishna! Hare Krishna!" (In the wallpaper: Rasikananda Prabhu, and some elephants).

Srila Prabhupada, our eternal spiritual authority and divine master said, "He (Srila Gour Govinda Swami) is a pure devotee from birth, you are all new men."

Pushkaraksha Das After Yamuna devi dasi and I had been initiated in Orissa on Rama Navami in 1986, as we were expressing some days later our sadness to have to leave soon and be deprived of his association, Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja became very grave, looked at me and said: "This is an eternal loving relationship. It is not dependant on time and space." Then he added "Think about this very deeply Puskaraksa...!"

Caitanya-caritamrta says,

‘dvaite' bhadrabhadra-jnana, saba -- ‘manodharma'
‘ei bhala, ei manda' -- ei saba ‘bhrama'

In this material world, which is called "duality," these, our listing, "These things are good. These things are bad," bhadra abhadra... Bhadra means good. Abhadra means bad. These are all the same. It is simply mental concoction. Here, the so-called morality, ethics -- all nonsense. Because you, you are trying to lord it over on the property of somebody else. So where is your morality? So these sentiments -- morality, immorality, good, bad -- they are simply manufactured. Actually, unless one surrenders to Krsna, there is no question of this ethics and morality. We are now discussing in our philosophical class, Huxley's morality. These are all crazy man's proposals. Actually, there is no morality.

So that we can understand things as they are if we receive the message of Urukrama, Krsna. If you give aural reception to the activities of Krsna ... Therefore, you should n

Following the example of Ramanuja, Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, the Jagad Guru Preceptor for ALL of us, took sannyasa from the picture of his Gurudeva, Srila Gaurakishora Goswami Babaji Maharajah, who was a Babaji.

At that time he did not find any suitable Vaisnava guru, so he had to take from a photo of his Gurudeva. He wandered through Vrndavan and struck his forehead with his palm. “I came to such a holy place, but I could not find a true Vaisnava here.” That was his impression there. That came from his mouth. So,

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati thus took one RITVIK initiation, as did most of Srila Prabhupada's disciples. It is now established TRADITION. Whereas rubber-stamps are PERDITION.

sri-gauranga-vidhoh sva-dhamani navadvipe ’shta-kalodbhavam |
bhavyam bhavya-janena gokula-vidhor lila-smriter aditah || (11)

“The pastimes of the moonlike Sri Gauranga are manifest in His own abode Navadvipa during the eight phases of the day. They should be meditated upon prior to the remembrance of the pastimes of the moon of Gokula.”

The eight-fold daily pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu are summarized as follows:

ratryante sayanotthitah sura-sarit snato babhau yah prage |
purvahne sva-ganair-lasaty upavane tair bhati madhyahnike ||
yah puryam aparahnake nija-grihe sayam grihe ’thangane |
srivasasya nisa-mukhe nisi vasan gaurah sa no rakshatu || (ibid. 2)
