"I offer my respectful obeisances to Jagannatha dasa Babaji Maharaja, who is respected by the entire Vaishnava community and who discovered the place where Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared."

Sri Jagannatha Dasa Babaji Maharaja was born in the Mayamansingh district of West Bengal. Gaudiya Vedanta-acharya Sri Baladeva Vidyabhushana had a disciple named Uddhava das. His disciple was Sri Madhusudana Dasa Babaji who lived in Suryakunda. Madhusudana Dasa Babaji's disciple was Jagannatha Dasa Babaji Maharaja.

Jagannatha Dasa Babaji lived in Vrindavan and performed his bhajan there for quite some time. He became famous among the devotees there as one who was perfect in Krishna-bhakti. In 1880, Srimad Bhaktivinoda Thakura went to Vrindavan and saw his lotus feet for the first time. While there, he received many divine instructions on Hari-bhakti from Jagannatha Dasa. Some time later, Babaji Mahar

Rasikananda Prabhu Disappearance

Rasikananda Prabhu

One time some mad elephants attacked Rasikananda. Calmly, he chanted "Gauranga, Gauranga, Krishna, Krishna" while sprinkling water on the rampaging beasts. The elephants immeditately stopped charging, humbly bowed their heads, raised their trunks, and bellowed "Hare Krishna! Hare Krishna!" (In the wallpaper: Rasikananda Prabhu, and some elephants).

Shri Rasikananda Prabhu (Rasika Murari) appeared as the son of a king. He became a perfect sage, Gaudiya Vaishnava scholar, rasika bhakta, and the most beloved disciple of Shri Shyamananda Prabhu.

On Shyamananda Prabhu's order, Rasikananda became the head pujari and served his guru's Deity of Govindaji with total dedication. His attentive loving service increased Govindaji's beauty and pleasure. Rasika Murari enchanted the Devotees with his unprecedented Deity service. After firmly establishing Govindaji's worship, he accepted Shyamananda's order to preach.

He traveled widely for forty years, influencing everyone with the message

Srila Prabhupada, our eternal spiritual authority and divine master said, "He (Srila Gour Govinda Swami) is a pure devotee from birth, you are all new men."

Pushkaraksha Das After Yamuna devi dasi and I had been initiated in Orissa on Rama Navami in 1986, as we were expressing some days later our sadness to have to leave soon and be deprived of his association, Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja became very grave, looked at me and said: "This is an eternal loving relationship. It is not dependant on time and space." Then he added "Think about this very deeply Puskaraksa...!"

dont waste Your time

9468758101?profile=originalCaitanya-caritamrta says,

‘dvaite' bhadrabhadra-jnana, saba -- ‘manodharma'
‘ei bhala, ei manda' -- ei saba ‘bhrama'

In this material world, which is called "duality," these, our listing, "These things are good. These things are bad," bhadra abhadra... Bhadra means good. Abhadra means bad. These are all the same. It is simply mental concoction. Here, the so-called morality, ethics -- all nonsense. Because you, you are trying to lord it over on the property of somebody else. So where is your morality? So these sentiments -- morality, immorality, good, bad -- they are simply manufactured. Actually, unless one surrenders to Krsna, there is no question of this ethics and morality. We are now discussing in our philosophical class, Huxley's morality. These are all crazy man's proposals. Actually, there is no morality.

So that we can understand things as they are if we receive the message of Urukrama, Krsna. If you give aural reception to the activities of Krsna ... Therefore, you should n

Parampara Tradition

Following the example of Ramanuja, Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, the Jagad Guru Preceptor for ALL of us, took sannyasa from the picture of his Gurudeva, Srila Gaurakishora Goswami Babaji Maharajah, who was a Babaji.

At that time he did not find any suitable Vaisnava guru, so he had to take from a photo of his Gurudeva. He wandered through Vrndavan and struck his forehead with his palm. “I came to such a holy place, but I could not find a true Vaisnava here.” That was his impression there. That came from his mouth. He could not find a true Vaisnava in the whole of Vrndavan and Navadvip.- courtesy Mother Pancali dd.

So,

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati thus took one RITVIK initiation, as did most of Srila Prabhupada's disciples. It is now established TRADITION. Whereas rubber-stamps are PERDITION.

“The pastimes of the moonlike Sri Gauranga are manifest in His own abode Navadvipa during the eight phases of the day. They should be meditated upon prior to the remembrance of the pastimes of the moon of Gokula.”

The eight-fold daily pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu are summarized as follows:

In the forenoon and mid-day, He exhibits many beautiful pastimes with His devotees in the gardens. In the afternoon, he roams about in the village; in the evening he returns to His home. Srila Rupa Gosvami advises the devotee to be intelligent enough to distinguish between the kanishtha-adhikari, madhyama-adhikari and uttama-adhikari. The devotee should also know his own position and should not try to imitate a devotee situated on a higher platform. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has given some practical hints to the effect that an uttama-adhikari Vaishnava can be recognized by his ability to convert many fallen souls to Vaishnavism. One should not become a spiritual master unless he has attained the platform of uttama-adhikari.

"A neophyte Vaishnava or a Vaishnava situated on the intermediate platform can also accept disciples, but such disciples must be on the same platform, and it should be understood that they cannot advance very well toward the ultimate goal of life under his insufficient guidance. Therefore a disciple should be careful to accept an uttama-adhikari as a spiritual master."

As per the instructions of Rupa Goswami, Kanistha Adhikari Guru should not i

A Wifes' Victory

9468768260?profile=original

Srila Prabhupada:
If any wife wants to be happy with her husband, she must try to understand her husband's ...temperament and please him. This is victory for a woman.

Even in the dealings of Lord Kṛṣṇa with His different queens, it has been seen that although the queens were the daughters of great kings, they placed themselves before Lord Kṛṣṇa as His maidservants. However great a woman may be, she must place herself before her husband in this way; that is to say, she must be ready to carry out her husband's orders and please him in all circumstances. Then her life will be successful. When the wife becomes as irritable as the husband, their life at home is sure to be disturbed or ultimately completely broken.

In the modern day, the wife is never submissive, and therefore home life is broken even by slight incidents. Either the wife or the husband may take advantage of the divorce laws. According to the Vedic law, however, there is no such thing as divorce laws, and a woman m

Sri Ishvara Puri Disappearance

Ishvara-Puri-9.jpg
"Sri Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami has described in Sri Caitanya Caritamrta that the first sprout of the desire tree of devotion was manifested in the person of Sri Madhavendra Puri, and that that sprout developed into a sapling in the person of Sri Isvar Puri. Then, in the person of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Who was also the gardener Himself, that the sapling become the trunk of an enormous tree- the desire tree of devotion." - [C. C. Adi 9.10-11]

"Sri Isvara Puri appeared in this world on the full moon day of the month of Jyestha. He served his guru, Sri Madhavendra Puri, very faithfully, especially during the end of Sri Puripada's life." - [C. C. Antya 8.26]

"Sri Isvara Puri, in his travels to various holy places, once came to Sridhama Navadwipa, where he stayed in the house of Sri Gopinatha Acarya. At that time Sri Nimai Pandita was absorbed in His pastimes of learning. Iswara Puri entered Nadiya nagara in disguise and thus no one could understand who he really was."

REVERSE SPEECH THEORY

What may eventually become recognized as one of the greatest discoveries of the modern age, reverse speech is a phenomenon that was discovered by an Australian insurance broker, John David Oates. Oates has researched reverse speech for many years and has founded the David Oates Reverse Speech Association with chapters all over the world. His website at "reverse speech" is very helpful in educating the newcomer, and it includes many illustrative examples, such as some on the President Clinton- Monica Lewinsky controversy. Clinton's denial of involvement with Lewinsky is reversed to say, "She's a fun girl to kiss."

Most people are familiar with the hidden messages embedded in "backward masking" on rock and roll records, begun by the Beatles in the 1960's. Innocuous, satanic, or meaningless messages and words were "reverse-buried" in the forward music and could only be discovered by ma

APPENDIX 15:

HISTORY OF TAMAL KRISHNA GOSWAMI

Tamal Krishna Goswami is a central figure in the history of Srila Prabhupada's pastimes and that of the Hare Krishna Movement. He received hundreds of letters from Srila Prabhupada, served as chairman of the GBC in 1975, headed the largest-ever book distribution operation in ISKCON, served as Srila Prabhupada's personal secretary for the entire year of 1977, and has always been at the prominent in the inner clique of GBC's who formulated ISKCON policy and institutional philosophy. Further, he himself has invariably been at the center of one serious controversy in ISKCON after another. TKG has certainly had a colorful history.

There is no doubt TKG has rendered much wonderful service to Srila Prabhupada, and this appendix is not meant to criticize or belittle anyone who has spent a lifetime in the service of the Lord. However, uncomfortable and tricky as it ma

Prabhupada-Centred Harmonists

9468723485?profile=original

Imagine if you will, a snow-flake-like round lotus mandala. At the center, all points are visible as extension from the essential core. The flower is One, yet it has distinctive petals. Now, transmorphing our simile; Srila Prabhupada as the center of a lotus-mandala representing the philosophical and practical positions and applications of all the devotees worldwide who have taken up the service of Si Krsna Caitanya Mahapabhu's mission, in all their glorious diversity.

Let us stretch a little further; Imagine a world-wide set of temples of Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON, in which happy brahmanas study and elaborate on the teachings of our pure and powerful Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Vaisnava sampradaya, setting a global standard of excellence. The priests daily perform initiations, a baptism of fire, into the cult of eternal service to the perfect Masters, as revealed by the unquestionably perfectfully empowered universal Gurudeva, Srila Prabhupada. These scholarly devotees are fully conversa

9468765500?profile=originalOur business is to pray, "Radharani, You are so dear to Krishna. So we offer our respectful obeisances unto You:"

pranamami hari-priye

Radharani is hari-priya, very dear to Krishna. So if we approach Krishna through the mercy of Radharani, then it becomes very easy. If Radharani recommends that, "This devotee is very nice," then Krishna immediately accepts, however foolish I may be. Because Radharani recommends it, Krishna accepts. Therefore, in Vrndavana you'll find all the devotees chanting Radharani's name more than Krishna's. Wherever you'll go, you'll find the devotees are addressing one another, "Jaya Radhe." They are glorifying Radharani. They're more interested in worshiping Her. This is because, however fallen I may be, if somehow or other I can please Radharani, then it is very easy for me to understand Krishna.

Srila Prabhupada September 18, 1969, in London

" By chanting the holy name of the Lord, one dissolves his entanglement in material activities. After this, one becomes very attracted to Krsna, and thus dormant love for Krsna is awakened. 'The holy name of Lord Krsna is an attractive feature for many saintly, liberal people. It is the annihilator of all sinful reactions and is so powerful that save for the dumb who cannot chant it, it is readily available to everyone, including the lowest type of man, the candala. The holy name of Krsna is the controller of the opulence of liberation, and it is identical with Krsna. Simply by touching the holy name with one's tongue, immediate effects are produced. Chanting the holy name does not depend on initiation, pious activities or the purascarya regulative principles generally observed before initiation. The holy name does not wait for all these activities. It is self-sufficient. " (Caitanya CaritamrtaMadhya 15.110; Padyavali 29 by Srila Rupa Gosvami)
