(Kṛṣṇa does not require any service from you but the love. If you can achieve Kṛṣṇa, then you will feel that "I don’t require anything more")

"The Bhagavad-gītā, it will point that if you can achieve Kṛṣṇa . . . how you can achieve Kṛṣṇa? Kṛṣṇa does not require any service from you but the love. If you can achieve Kṛṣṇa, then you will feel that "I don’t require anything more." Yaṁ labdhvā: by gaining which a person thinks, "Complete, full."

Dhruva Mahārāja said when he saw Viṣṇu, he says, svāmin kṛtārtho ’smi varaṁ na yāce (CC Madhya 22.42) "My dear Lord, my all desires and demands are now fulfilled. I don’t want anything." This is Kṛṣṇa consciousness. If actually one becomes Kṛṣṇa conscious, he has no more demand for anything material."

Still, he is thinking that "I am secure." This is the position. So life is very tottering and in dangerous position. Therefore one should take advantage of this human form of life and immediately engage in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. (What is Vedic knowledge? Vedic knowledge means to revive our Kṛṣṇa consciousness. That is Vedic knowledge. If you revive your Kṛṣṇa consciousness, that is the perfection of Vedic knowledge)

"In the Bhagavad-gītā it is said, vedaiś ca sarvair aham eva vedyam (BG 15.15). The Vedic . . . What is Vedic knowledge? Vedic knowledge means to revive our Kṛṣṇa consciousness. That is Vedic knowledge. If you revive your Kṛṣṇa consciousness, that is the perfection of Vedic knowledge. (In our bhakti-yoga we can teach this art of seeing Kṛṣṇa within the core of the heart in one minute. It is so simple. You are seeing Kṛṣṇa here. You must have impression and try to keep that impression within your heart always. Then you become first-class yogī)

"That yoga means you have to come to the platform of prema, love, not that simply official practice, you can see. You have to come to the platform . . . Without having love connection with Kṛṣṇa, it is not possible to see Him. You may practice this haṭha-yoga or gymnastic yoga for many, many births—you cannot see Kṛṣṇa.

Kṛṣṇa can be seen when you smear with love ointment in your eyes. Premāñjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena. And that is possible: bhakti, through bhakti. Therefore, why not practice bhakti-yoga from the beginning if you want to see Kṛṣṇa? And that is recommended by Kṛṣṇa:

(Here Rūpa Gosvāmī says that, "You purchase at any price." But what is that price? Tatra laulyam ekalaṁ mūlyam. Laulyam, eagerness. That is price)

"Rūpa Gosvāmī also recommended like that. Tatra laulyam ekalaṁ mūlyam. Rūpa Gosvāmī advised, kṛṣṇa-bhakti-rasa-bhāvitā matiḥ krīyatāṁ yadi kuto 'pi labhyate (Padyāvalī 14). He advises that, "Kṛṣṇa consciousness, if it is available, you purchase. You purchase anywhere it is available."

That is Caitanya Mahāprabhu's advice, that one should be eager to purchase this Kṛṣṇa consciousness at any price. Generally, we think price means some . . . in terms of money, monetary transaction, say, hundred pounds or two hundred pounds or millions pounds, billion pounds, like that.

The price is different. Here Rūpa Gosvāmī says that, "You purchase at any price." But what is that price? Tatra laulyam ekalaṁ mūlyam. Laulyam, eagerness. That is price."

(In the material world you cannot expect very smooth, peaceful life. That is not possible. And the only remedy is to take shelter of the lotus feet of just Murāri. Murāri means Kṛṣṇa)

"The Caitanya Mahāprabhu's preaching is to request everyone to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa or Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa. So Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura said that "When I chant Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra, then all dangers go away." So this place, this material world, is a dangerous place.

Padaṁ padaṁ yad vipadām. Vipad means danger, and padaṁ padam means every step. In the material world you cannot expect very smooth, peaceful life. That is not possible. And the only remedy is to take shelter of the lotus feet of just Murāri. Murāri means Kṛṣṇa."

To Serve The Servant Of Krsna Is Better Than To Serve Krsna Directly

(So to serve the servant of Kṛṣṇa is better than to serve directly Kṛṣṇa, because if the servant of Kṛṣṇa promises something, if the servant of Kṛṣṇa says, "I'll take you to Kṛṣṇaloka," you must go there)

"Even the devotee or the servant of Kṛṣṇa says something, even it is wrong, Kṛṣṇa upholds this. Kaunteya pratijānīhi na me bhaktaḥ pranaśyati (BG 9.31). So even it is wrongly done, still, Kṛṣṇa fulfills because He thinks that "My servant has promised; it must be fulfilled."

Therefore Prahlāda Mahārāja, in the previous verse he has said, tava bhṛtya-pārśva. So to serve the servant of Kṛṣṇa is better than to serve directly Kṛṣṇa, because if the servant of Kṛṣṇa promises something, if the servant of Kṛṣṇa says, "I'll take you to Kṛṣṇaloka," you must go there.

Even Kṛṣṇa cannot do that. He can; I mean to say that He does not say very easily. But if a servant . . . Yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādaḥ. Therefore our philosophy is to please the servant of God, tad-bhṛtya, bhṛtyasya bhṛty

ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanaṁ bhava-mahā-dāvāgni-nirvāpaṇaṁ
śreyaḥ-kairava-candrikā-vitaraṇaṁ vidyā-vadhū-jīvanam
ānandāmbudhi-vardhanaṁ prati-padaṁ pūrṇāmṛtāsvādanaṁ
sarvātma-snapanaṁ paraṁ vijayate śrī-kṛṣṇa-saṅkīrtanam

Glory to the Sri Krishna Sankirtana which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years together. Thus the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death, is extinguished. This Samkirtan movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction Moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge, it increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it helps to have a taste of the full nectar for which we are always anxious.
