Srimati Sita Thakurani Appearance

9468771862?profile=original

Srimati Sita Thakurani is to be worshiped just as much as Sacidevi herself, as the mother of the universe. She is the eternal wife of Sri Advaita Acharya. She was the daughter of Sri Nrishinga Baduri. She was married to Sri Advaita Acharya in Phuliya Nagara.

After their wedding, Advaita Acharya went to Nadiya, to live in Shantipura. Sita Thakurani was always absorbed in vatsalya prema for Sri Gaurasundara Prabhu, and, out of parental concern used to instruct Jagannatha Mishra on how to care for the boy. Sri Krishna Dasa Kaviraja Goswami has described the birth celebration at the house of Jagannatha Mishra upon the advent of the Lord, giving special attention to the position of Sri Sita Thakurani. Advaita Acharya's wife, worshipable by all the three worlds was Sita Thakurani. Taking the Acharya's orders on her head, she had come to take a look at this new child, this jewel of jewels, and to offer him presents.

On the eve of his son's advent Sri Jagannatha Mishra, seeing the imminent signs

Prabhupada's orders

Krishna Consciousness Ely shared Vincent James Fiorentino's photo.
"I am requesting all of my disciples that for this one lifetime you give all of your energy and service to Krishna. The spiritual force is eternal, so to give simply one lifetime to Krishna is not a very difficult thing. And yet if we are serious in executing the devotional principles, this one lifetime of service to Krishna will absolute and final solution to all the problems of life. Sincere devotional service in even one lifetime is sufficient to make one eligible to return to the Vaikuntha world permanently. Krishna Consciousness has got this power." A Square Circle

A Square Circle

A Square Circle?
Question: If God can do anything, can he make a square circle?
Questions like these arise from not understanding the definition of God as the Supreme Being. Let’s consider the two kinds of impossibilities: practical and logical.
1.Practical impossibility: When the sacred scriptures describe that, say, Lord Krishna lifted the huge Govardhana hill in Vrindavana during his descent to this world five thousand years ago, skeptics may
dismiss this as impossible, because they deem possession of such strength practically impossible. However, notice their self-centric mentality implicitly operating here; they presume that what is
impossible for them is impossible for anyone. By such a mentality, an ant crawling on a table may consider the glass that blocks its way impossible to lift, but we humans do it all the time – nonchalantly. Just as we, humans, being much stronger than ants, can do what they think practically impossible, similarly, God, being Supreme, being inf

Kali Krsna

krishna_kalee.jpg

Hindu tales narrate a nice story of how Krishna assumed the form of  Kalee( Kali ) as a lila or divine play .  The plot unflods in the puranic forest of Vrindavana where the cowherd Yadavas were peacefully residing with their much loved leader and friend , Sri Krishna .  Every night , hearing the flute of Krishna at midnight Srimati Radharani would quitely slip out from her home to secretly meet with her lover in the deep forests . However this was eventually observed by the shrewd sister in laws of Radha , Jatila and Kutila who informed her husband Ayan of his wife’s  ‘adultery’ . Infuriated Ayan set off to punish the miscreant , into the deep woods . However the lord of all beings , Sri Krishna already knew what was in the air . He quickly asked Radha to pick up all the wild fruits and flowers that she could find and sit down at his feet in an worshupful gesture . Radha obeyed to his commands and soon Krishna had himself transformed to Kali — the ishta or chosen deity of Ayan . and w

CHAPTER THREE

The Birth of Lord Krishna

As stated in the Bhagavad-gita, the Lord says that His appearance, birth, and activities, are all transcendental, and one who understands them factually becomes immediately eligible to be transferred to the spiritual world. The Lord's appearance or birth is not like that of an ordinary man who is forced to accept a material body according to his past deeds. The Lord's appearance is explained in the Second Chapter: He appears out of His own sweet pleasure. When the time was mature for the appearance of the Lord, the constellations became very auspicious. The astrological influence of the star known as Rohini was also predominant because this star is considered to be very auspicious. Rohini is under the direct supervision of Brahma. According to the astrological conclusion, besides the proper situation of the stars, there are auspicious and inauspicious moments due to the different situations of the different planetary systems. At the time of Krsna's

How to see God

Bill Schubert
9468762686?profile=original

"So people, they sometimes say, "Can you show me God? Have you seen God?" These questions sometimes we meet. So the answer is here. Yes, you can see God. Everyone can see God. I am also seeing God. But there must be the qualification.
Suppose a motorcar is there, something is wrong there. Everyone is seeing. But one engineer or mechanic, he sees differently. Therefore we have to go there. "What is wrong in this car? It is not running." He immediately touches some machine part; it runs.
So these fools, they do not know that "How I can see God if I have not the qualification?" The machine has gone wrong, I am seeing the machine. And the engineer, the mechanic, he is also seeing the machine. But his seeing and my seeing is different. He's qualified to see. Therefore when the machine has gone wrong, immediately he touches some part, it runs. So if for a machine we require so much qualification, and we want to see God without any qualification?
Just see the fun. Without any qual

Revati-Balarama

.
.
.
Lila how REVATI king Kakudmi's daughter met and married BALARAMA -------
Revati, within Hinduism, is the daughter of King Kakudmi and the wife of Balarama, the elder brother of Krishna. Her account is given within a number of Puranic texts such as the Mahābhārata and 9468761866?profile=originalBhagavata Purana.
Meeting with Brahma

Revati was the only daughter of King Kakudmi (sometimes called Kakudmin, or Raivata), a powerful monarch who ruled Kusasthali, a prosperous and advanced kingdom under the sea, and who also controlled large tracts of land, including Anarta kingdom. Feeling that no human could prove to be good enough to marry his lovely and talented daughter, King Kakudmi took Revati with him to Brahma-loka (the plane of existence where Lord Brahma, the Creator, resides) to ask Lord Brahma's advice about finding a suitable husband for Revati.

When they arrived, Lord Brahma was listening to a musical performance by the Gandharvas, so they waited patiently until the performance was finished. The

Hare Krsna. All glories to His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Lord Balaram, Who is the source of all spiritual strength.

Please accept my fallen obeisances.

From Srila Prabhupada's CC 1.1.168 purport: "There is no difference between the bodily forms of Sri Krsna and Balarama except that Their bodily colors are different - the bodily hue of Krsna is dark and that of Balarama is fair."

From Srila Prabhupada's "Krsna Book" ("Prayers by the Demigods"): "In the Upanisads it is stated that one cannot attain the supreme or any form of self-realization without being sufficiently favored by Balarama...One must have the spiritual strength which is infused by Balarama or Sankarsana...The spiritual master is the representative of Balarama, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who supplies spiritual strength."

Lord Balaram exhibits softness and love for His devotees: (From Srila Prabhupada's "Krsna Book," "Lord Balaram Visits Vrndavan") "When the gopis arrived, Lord Balarama glance

Srila Gauridasa Pandita Disappearance

picture-12.jpg

Gauridas Pandit (four Gaura-Nitai Deities, Gaura Purnima celebration)

--------------- Across the Ganges from Santipur, in a small town called Ambika Kalna, which is within the present district of Barddhama, is where Gauri dasa Pandita's temple is located.
His worshippable Deities Sri Sri Gaura-Nityananda are still residing in all their splendor there.
There is a railway station at Ambika Kalna on the Howrah-Navadvipa line.
From there one can proceed by rickshaw to Mahaprabhu Mandira.
In the temple is an old copy of the Bhagavad-gita on palm leaves which is supposed to have been written by the hand of Mahaprabhu Himself.
There is also an oar from a boat which has an interesting story behind it.

One day, the two Lords Caitanya and Nityananda came to Kalna from Santipur by boat, paddling it themselves.
Lord Caitanya kept the oar in His hand, and when He entered Gauri dasa's house He gave it to him, saying, "With this you should cross over the ocean of material existence, taking all the

2 Excellent Quotes, courtesy Prabhu Likith Kumar.

"Confidential devotees of the Lord see in every step a benedictory direction of the Lord. What is considered to be an odd or difficult moment in the mundane sense is accepted as special mercy of the Lord. Mundane prosperity is a kind of material fever, and by the grace of the Lord the temperature of this material fever is gradually diminished, and spiritual health is obtained step by step. Mundane people misunderstand it. "Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.6.10

" No one can understand the import of the Vedas without having undergone a strict disciplinary vow and disciplic succession. The Vedas, spiritual masters and sacrificial fire must be worshiped by the desiring candidate. All these intricacies of Vedic knowledge are systematically presented in the Mahabharata for the understanding of the woman class, the laborer class and the unqualified members of brahmana, ksatriya or vaisya families. In this age, the Mahabharata is more essential than the o
