Ajit Krishna Dasa writes: Wonderful points!
Personally I do not think that a posthumously edited version of Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita As It Is can exist without violating the sampradaic rule of arsa-prayoga and thereby without offending Prabhupada.
But since the BBTI publishes one it must certainly be made according to the accepted protocol for posthumously edited works. This will make it very easy to differentiate between the original and edited version, and it will no doubt remove a lot of the fighting created by the BBTI's insistence on changing Prabhupada books.
But even if the BBT International published according to the standard protocol still a very important point need to be made, namely that no one can make spiritual progress if they make offenses to the spiritual master - and they do so by supporting posthumously edited versions of Prabhupada's books.

SRILA PRABHUPADA'S HEALTH BIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS
CHAPTER 32: GENERAL REVIEW:
There were 21 symptoms listed in Chapter 19 which are unique only to arsenic poisoning and are not found in kidney disease. Out of these 21 "arsenic" symptoms, a few are seen in cases of serious diabetes, which, however, Srila Prabhupada, by symptom analysis, did not have serious enough to display the symptoms thereof. This is reviewed in APPENDIX 7: Diabetes Symptoms, For example, loss of vision or blindness is sometimes seen in diabetes. Srila Prabhupada, however, did not exhibit the signs of an advanced case of diabetes which would produce loss of vision. Further, not one doctor or kaviraja, nor Hari Sauri Prabhu, even mentioned diabetes as a factor in His Divine Grace's health. He also did not require insulin. Diabetes is thus ruled out of the equation, so to speak.
Many of the 21 arsenic poisoning and "not-kidney disease" symptoms listed in Chapter 19 may occur in other medical situations. For example, heari
Pure Bhakti is True Emancipation
by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

The common decision of men, whether discriminative or otherwise, is not identical with Truth. The common sense of people to follow blindly, like foolish cattle being driven by a herdsman, is always defective, wrought with error borne of the faculty of mind. In it, there may be some appearance of truth, but that is only relative or temporary; it is not real truth. Because human intellect is driven by the modes of passion (rajas) and ignorance (tamas), it cannot penetrate deliberations of the mode of unalloyed goodness (sattva). So, when someone advises us to supplement pure bhakti, which is free from the three modes of material nature, with worldly disciplines like jñāna, yoga or karma, which are borne of the modes of material nature, in order to make it complete, it is to our benefit to not accept their advice. Such a mixture is detrimental to our true well-being. It is like mixing mortar into a

Nor does he kill a boy, a woman, a foolish creature or a surrendered soul.
Purport: An enemy who does not resist is never killed by a warrior who knows the principles of religion. Formerly battles were fought on the principles of religion and not for the sake of sense gratification. If the enemy happened to be intoxicated, asleep, etc., as above mentioned, he was never to be killed. These are some of the codes of religious war. Formerly war was never declared by the whims of selfish political leaders; it was carried out on religious principles free from all vices. Violence carried out on religious principles is far superior to so-called nonviolence.

Garuda asked, But sometimes ghosts come and pester people. How do they manage to do that? How do they escape from hell?
In the same manner that prisoners escape from prison, answered Vishnu. They come and disturb their friends and relatives.
They return to their old houses and cause all sorts of illnesses, such as fever. They are positively delighted when people get headaches or cholera. The more they loved their dear ones when they were alive, the more harm they cause them as ghosts. It is in kaliyuga that one has all these ghosts. There were no such ghosts is satyayauga, dvaparayuga or tretayuga. These ghosts cause strife among friends and kill animals and children.
How does one know that ghosts are around? asked Garuda.
The signs are fairly obvious, repied Vishnu. Animals die and friends fight. There are sudden catastrophes. Children turn against their parents, brahmanas are criticised and there are bad harvests. Fire break out for no reason at all. Husband and wi

First Principle; Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhupada; Accept all things favorable, and reject all things unfavorable.
Devotee Association; to give and accept gifts, to reveal ones mind and to hear another devotee's thoughts, to give and accept prasadam; ie to serve and accept service that is favorable.
Considering these, as devotees of Srila Prabhupada, we like to say Haribol and discuss krsna katha with many devotees. But some of them come back with, "Prabhupada is dead and gone", or, "the poisoning is just a theory", or " Love is All, just accept the GBC and stop criticizing". These three ideas come to mind, as they are often encountered, here on my Facebook, anyway.
This is not favorable. One becomes little anxious, excited, disturbed of mind, angry, depressed; because the anti-truth poseur is saying falsehoods meant to sway you from a clear and positive path of pure devotion to service of Jagad-Gurudeva, Srila Prabhupada. They want to insert ideas from outside, meant to undermine
At the end of one lecture Srila Prabhupada told the devotees, "If you become 90% Krishna conscious, you will go back home, back to Godhead." Looking out into his audience, he saw that the devotees looked crestfallen. So then he said, "If you become 80% Krishna conscious, you will go back home, back to Godhead." Still the devotees expressed doubt that theycould become even 80% Krishna conscious. So then Srila Prabhupada said, "Ok,70%," and then the devotees responded with a big Jaya! But as Srila Prabhupada was returning to his quarters, another devotee expressed concern that he would not be able to become even 70% Krishna conscious. So then Prabhupada said, "Ok, you just hold on to my dhoti. I have the key to the back door."
Srila Prabhupada quoted the following Bhagavad-gita verse at the time of giving sannyasa to Srila Gour Govinda Swami:
sri-bhagavan uvaca anasritah karma-phalam
karyam karma karoti yahsa sannyasi ca yogi ca
na niragnir na cakriyah
“The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: One who is unattached to the fruits of his work and who works as he is obligated, is in the renounced order of life, and he is the true mystic, not he who lights no fire and performs no duty.” (BG, 6.1)
He uttered this verse and said, “He is a real sannyasi,” then gave him the sannyasa mantra and danda. Shortly thereafter, many sannyasis and GBC members started complaining, “How has he taken sannyasa? He is a new man!” Then Srila Prabhupada told them, “He is a devotee from birth - you are new men!"
The Anantha chaturdashi-vrata (Bhadrapada shukla Chaturdashi) is widely observed in India. It is also called ‘Ananthapadmanabha-vrata’. Lord Vishnu appeared on this day as Padmanabha lying on the couch of Anantha Sesha (the thousand-hooded serpent).
Anantha vrata is observed with the intention of fulfillment of worldly desires (‘kamya vrata’). This vrata is mainly observed for regaining lost prosperity. On the day of Anantha Chaturdashi, the frequencies of Sri Vishnu are active in the Universe. It is easy for average people to attract and absorb these frequencies on this day. Performing Ananta puja means absorbing the action-energy of Sri Vishnu.
| The presiding Deity of Anantha vrata is Anantha, that is, Sri Vishnu. The Deities Yamuna and Shesha also accompany Sri Vishnu. |
Anantha Vrata, is dedicated to Lord Anantha Padmanabha Swamy. It is observed on the fourteenth day in Shukla Paksha during Bhadrapada month. Anantha means the infinite and endless. Anantha Padmanabha is Lord Vishnu recli
One day, Govinda went in great jubilation to deliver the remnants of Lord Jagannatha's food to Haridasa Thakura. However, upon his arrival, Govinda saw that Haridasa Thakura was lying down on his back and chanting his rounds very slowly. Govinda said, Please rise and take your maha-prasada.
Haridasa Thakura replied, Today I shall observe fasting for I have not yet finished my prescribed number of rounds. How then can I eat? On the other hand, you have brought me maha-prasada. How can I neglect it?
After saying this, Haridasa Thakura offered prayers to the maha-prasada and ate a little portion.
The next day, Shri Gauranga Mahaprabhu went and inquired, My dear Haridasa, are you well? Haridasa Thakura offered his obeisances unto the Lord and replied, My body is all right, but my mind and intelligence are not well.
Shri Gauranga Mahaprabhu asked, Can you ascertain what your disease is? Haridasa Thakura replied, My disease is that I cannotcomplete my prescribed number of rounds. The Lo
Sri Sacidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura appeared in 1838 in a wealthy family in the Nadia district, West Bengal. He revealed that he is an eternal associate of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu by his extraordinary preaching activities and prolific writing. Living as a, mahabhagavata Vaisnava, he stayed in the grhasta ashram until the last few years of his life. Then he renounced everything, accepted babaji, and entered samadhi, totally absorbed in the loving service of Gaura-Gadadhara and Radha-Madhava. "He had a responsible government position as the District Magistrate (high court judge), maintained a Krishna conscious family, and wrote almost one hundred books on Krishna consciousness. At the same time, he served the Supreme Lord in so many ways. That is the beauty of his life. After a full day of government service he would sleep four hours, get up at midnight and write until morning. That was his daily program." (Srila Prabhupada)

Sri Sanatana, Sri Rupa and Sri Vallabha were three brothers, all employed in the service of the Badsa Hussain Shah. Amongst the three, there was only one descendent, Sri Jiva. Having been rewarded richly by the Badsa for their sevices, their household life was very opulent. There was nothing lacking in whatever was necessary for the upbringing of the only son. The house was illuminated by the effulgence of the child's golden complexion; his eyes were like the expanded petals of the lotus; every part of his body was graced with a lusterous, radiant splendor.
When Sri Gaurasundara came to Ramakeli, Sri Jiva was blessed by having darshana of His worshipable lord, though he was just a baby at the time. Placing the dust of His lotus feet on the child's head, Mahaprabhu indicated him to be the future sovereign preceptor of the Gaudiya sampradaya. Though he was only a child, Sri Jiva kept the form of the Lord, which fascinates all the world, within his heart. As he grew up, while eating, lying
