His Divine Grace Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada
So as soon as you approach the Deity or the name, you should know fully well that Krsna is present. Krsna is… Therefore we should worship the Deity with great attention, as much as Krsna is present. And similarly, we should worship the holy name with great attention. We should not be inattentive.
Suppose Krsna personally comes, personally He is here. Suppose personally, as you think of personally, personally comes. If you do not become respectful, is that all right? No. You should be very much respectful. Even a respectable person, ordinary person, a big man or a rich man or a king comes, we become so much respectful. And what about Krsna when He’s present as arcā-mūrti or as the holy name? These are the realization point of view: Krsna, His name, His form, His quality, His pastimes. When you hear about Kṛṣṇa, that is also Kṛṣṇa. Actually, when you are reading Krsna book, Krsna is fighting with demons, that is also His past

Varanasi Visvanatha, 1976

We walked bullock cart sankirtan from Prayaga after attending maha kumbha mela with Srila Prabhupada. Lokanatha Swami led, party of eight or so, mixed Westerners and Indians. Padmapani was there, myself, and the famous film producer Jon Kay. We arrived in Varanasi without knowing the 500th anniversary of Mahaprabhu's visit. There were even processions in the street of Caitanya murthi. We did kirtan, wound up the rich metal seller's markets narrow avenues to the Srila Visvanatha Temple, and were very nicely and happily greeted, were asked to touch the Deity Linga, Srila Visvanatha, held kirtana hari haraya namah krsna, hare krsna maha mantra etc, priest put tilak and prasadam to us etc. 500 years to the day, Mahaprabhu's mixed disciples showed up to do kirtana just as He had ! We stayed at Ram ghat at a Ram baba temple that evening, full eclipse of moon, we bathed in Ganga that early evening. I watched the silver blue moon sitting at the steps of the ghat with the devotees, chanting Har

THE PRABHUPADA SUN

Prabhupada: (break) ...worm and the sun. When the sun is arisen, the glowworms, automatically finished. (break) ...motto, "Krsna is sun." You know it? Krsna surya-sama. So when Krsna sun is there, all these glowworms' lightening will be finished. (break) Keep this sun always shining. Then these glowworms will be finished.

Prabhupada: Ah. So this is our one of the items, to vanquish all these rascals, so-called swamis. They say that "Why you criticize others also?" Because we have to vanquish them. Now these people cannot rise. When there is sunrise, there is no use of these glowworms. So this Krsna consciousness movement is Krsna Himself. Therefore they must be finished, all over the world. So-called religionists, so-called philosophers, so-called avataras, swamis, yogis--finished. Our

This comment come from the sublime nectar on the vani seva of our guru maharaj and is to help the new comers of SRILA PRABHUPADA  spirit net,to become a krsna conscious person. the living entity must come to the paltform of acintya abheda bheda tattvam. that means that all the forms of life materially and spiritually are SRI KRSNA and in the same time, different from SRI KRSNA, Who said in the SRIMAD BHAGAVAD GITA that the matter and the spirit are within HIS supreme personality of godhead, almost everyone is trapped in the false images of the fake reflection which is making by contaminate substances, and unless one realized that this fake image is also SRI KRSNA, one can't become krsna conscious,  but keep on to take birth and die alone with a lot of troubles to overcome life after life. that's why our beloved acharya used to repeat very often how important is to become a living entity conscious of SRI KRSNA.

Of course the material nature with all h

“The ones who have no other respite, are steeped in sense gratification, are inimical by nature, without spiritual knowledge and material detachment and without any control over sexual desire and devoid of any righteous conduct – they can easily attain a state only by chanting the Holy Names – such that even the sum total of all-righteous people cannot reach.” – (Padma Purân)

In ujjvala-rasa (the topmost pinnacle of all devotional mellows), the permanent mellow is madhurya-rati (loving attachment for Krsna expressed in the mood of a lover). This madhurya-rati is of three kinds: (1) sadharani [attachment wherein one’s own personal enjoyment is present], (2) samanjasa [attachment wherein both one’s personal enjoyment and the desire to please Sri Krsna are equally present], and (3) samartha [attachment wherein only the desire to please Krsna is present]. The sadharani-madhurya-rati found in Kubja is like an ordinary gemstone. The royal queens of Dvaraka, beginning with Rukmini, are possessed of samanjasa-madhurya-rati. This is compared to cintamani or touchstone. The gopis of Vraja are possessed of samartha-madhurya-rati, and this is compared to the Kaustubha jewel.

That attachment which has of its design and intent one’s own personal enjoyment is called sadharani. That attachment, which has as its purpose the enjoyment that accr

Lord Shri Chaitanya, His welfare activities (and His Teachings)

The positive life and happiness is the real reality that we want. Without such positive knowledge, we are apt to utilise this present temporary life for all sorts of material happiness in terms of the philosophy of Charbaka. Charbaka did not believe in the eternity of life. He believed in Hedonism and therefore recommended an irresponsible life of eat, drink, merry and enjoy. He advised there is nothing after death ? And Buddha and Shankara advised there is practically voidness after death. Voidness is another name of nothingness. People therefore took up the idea of nothingness after death and they clinged to the everything of this present world. To save them from such hopelessness of Voidness and nothing after death, the message of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has to be propagated all over the world. Lord Jesus Christ also promised kingdom of heaven and the fatherhood of
