Even before death, a pure devotee has no material affection, due to his body's being spiritualized like a red-hot iron in contact with fire
SB 1.6.27, Purport: That is the sign of spiritually enriched persons. And in due course of time, when a pure devotee is completely prepared, all of a sudden the change of body occurs which is commonly called death. And for the pure devotee such a change takes place exactly like lightning, and illumination follows simultaneously. That is to say a devotee simultaneously changes his material body and develops a spiritual body by the will of the Supreme. Even before death, a pure devotee has no material affection, due to his body's being spiritualized like a red-hot iron in contact with fire.
Therefore change of the body means stoppage of the reaction of three qualitative modes of material nature upon the pure devotee
SB 1.6.28, Purport: A devotee's body becomes at once

Srila Prabhupada Speaks Out-
"So you cannot change the words of Bhagavad-gītā. That is foolishness.
Anyone who changes the orders and the words of Bhagavad-gītā, they are rascal; they'll not get any benefit."
Hare Krsna. All glories to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Following are some quotes that are direct instructions against the whimsical changes in the original Bhagavad Gita As It Is.
There is no difference. Just like we are reading Bhagavad-gītā. Why we're interested? Because Bhagavad-gītā and the speaker of Bhagavad-gītā, Kṛṣṇa, they are identical. So you cannot change the words of Bhagavad-gītā. That is foolishness. Anyone who changes the orders and the words of Bhagavad-gītā, they are rascal; they'll not get any benefit. Because you cannot correct Kṛṣṇa, what Kṛṣṇa says or God says. That is not in your power. So these rascals, they want to interpret, "This is like this, this is this, I think it is this." No. Kṛṣṇa did not live for you, for your

Asuras have infiltrated Srila Prabhupada's society and are working to change his teachings from within.

Here is just one example of the changes being made to his books (Chaitanya Charitamrita, Madhya Lila 19.157, purport):

Original paragraph:

"If one thinks that there are many pseudo devotees or nondevotees in the Krsna Consciousness Society, one can keep direct company with the spiritual master, and if there is any doubt, one should consult the spiritual master."

New corrupted version:

"Even if one thinks that there are many pseudo devotees or nondevotees in the Krsna Consciousness Society, still one should stick to the Society; if one thinks the Society's members are not pure devotees, one can keep direct company with the spiritual master, and if there is any doubt, one should consult the spiritual master."

So change means imperfect knowledge

Tamohara Dasa's photo.

Srimad Bhagavatam 1.3.15“Advancement means… But we don’t change our Vedic knowledge. We do not say, “Now, Kṛṣṇa, five thousand years ago, said like this. Now we are advanced. We change this line.” Of course, others are doing. In the scriptures… Just like the Christians, they are changing the words. But you cannot do that. Then where is the authority? If you change the word of the scripture, then where is the authority of the scripture? Just like in lawbooks, there is some law made already. Whimsically you cannot, I mean to say, erase the words and put something that “It should be changed like this.” That will not be accepted. Law, if there is change… Actually, there is no change. There cannot be change. Real law means there is no change. Just like day and night, it is coming. The fortnight, the dark period and the light period, it is coming for millions and millions and time immemorial. The same law is going, going on. You cannot change. So as soon as you change, that means it i

Charity for the Brahmanas

Apr 14, '07 TORONTO, CANADA — Giving in charity to the brahmanas is essential to Vedic culture. Our Iskcon society may be benefited tremendously if we simply encourage our congregational grhastas to actually do this! There are too many poverty-restricted brahmanas, but where is the program to ensure that they are given sufficient charity to maintain themselves and their families, what to speak of performing the brahminical duty of expansively passing such charity on to others in need? Who better to empower than the surrendered, poverty-stricken devotees? Who do we want in control, a selfless brahmana or a self-motivated administrator? So where does Krsna’s Iskcon money go? Are the congregational members encouraged to give charity to the brahmanas, or are our brahmanas considered to be kali-yuga fakes not worthy of spending any money to support? I am not talking salaries here, but spontaneous donations to worthy devotees. A place to sleep, nutritious prasadam, and steady service is mor
