pamho tamohara prabhu,  agt ACBSP !

I got your good advice and i'm working on that, i mean, ahaituki apratihata, constant engagement in jivera svarupa hoy krsnera nitya dasa to get the spontaneous platform of raga bhakti.  I  will try to leave some comment on the story of the divine bhagavatam to awake my spiritual selfless mood service connected in the loving relationship with all the genuine prabhupadanugas who all the time meditating on the vani seva of HDG ACBSP by realizing that SRI KRSNA is everything.  And in the same time, when one forgets krsna, maya sukaya looks like it is everything!

Therefore, we need to keep connected altogether to awake this selfless mood of service in raga bhakti faster through good sat-sanga comments.  Because if the mind is SRI ANIRUDDHA DEVA ,then SRI KRSNA HIMSELF help us by making things more clear in our minds.  Through good comments HE speak to us by trying THEIR best to save us!  May be we

Srila Gadadhara Pandita Prabhu

Tridandisvami Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja

Gaura-Gadadhar
Sri Sri Gaura-Gadadhara

[The following is two excerpts from lectures by Srila Gurudeva, Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, about Srila Gadadhara Pandita Prabhu. We are submitting these excerpts because on June 30th, 2011 (in America) we will all observe Sri Gadadhara Pandita Prabhu's divine disappearance day. The first excerpt is from Srila Gurudeva's lecture in Los Angeles on May 30, 2000. In this lecture, he glorifies our Srila Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja in his relationship with Sri Gadadhara Pandita Prabhu.]

Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja came to this world with the mission of Iskcon – Vaisnavism. What was that? It is the same mission as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. And who is Mahaprabhu? He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krsna Himself. But He is also more than that; He is not only Krsna. He is the combination of both Srimati Radhika and Krsna. Sri Krsna has combined wi

As a father in his amusements with his young children, God is spreading all sorts of delicious food all over the earth and expecting that His sons should gather all the scattered blessings and, without the exercise of reason in consequence of a strong feeling of love, offer all the blessing to the Father whom they love more than their lives. The Father again, in reply to their kind feelings, gives back the blessings to the children and tells them these kindlier words, "O! My children! These blessings intended for you!

Out of your natural love you bring them to me for my enjoyment; but I have naturally no wants to supply. But then I have accepted that part of your offering which corresponds with me, viz. your unmixed love and disinterested affections for which alone I am exceedingly anxious. Take back these sweet things and enjoy them."

This process of disinterested love, which dry reason can never brook, sanctifies the food we take, and leaves us to harmless enjoyment for all t

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura;

To the Saragrahi Vaishnava, the temple has such thrilling charms which the ordinary Rationalist can never understand. We do not mean to say that Reason is a foolish principle. On the contrary we do not find better admirers of Reason than our humble selves. We hold that man's superiority amongst all created beings consist in man's possessing the noble gift of Reason.

What we maintain in this, that independent of this noble principle there is another higher gift in man which goes by the name of Love. Reason helps Love to maintain its proper bounds in the Spiritual world. Love often tends to degrade itself by exercising its functions on objects other than God and converts itself into lust for woman, wine, meat and gold. Here Reason advises her to rise higher till she reaches her proper sphere above. Thus we find that the object of Reason is to help Love and not to create it. Reason may be properly styled as the servant of Love and must always be subject t

pamho tamohara prabhu agtACBSP,

you are right prabhu that one drop of pure love of Krsna  is enough to go back home, says SRILA PRABHUPADA ... in kali yuga it's impossible to do everything with love, so many distractions are there ... manda bhagya upadrutah. this is the future of all the citizens of this age who refuse to awake the mood of devotional service by accepting the harinam diksa from our beloved acharya. normally ordinary people beg God to save them at time of need, especially when they are dying. but we know that's too late. therefore we beg SRI SRI GURU GAURANGA to save us all the time,  because is all the time time of need not just when we are dying.

anyway we are already dead materially, but ordinary people are thinking i'm alive, let me enjoy, i'm independently the supreme controller. but without bhakti it's just a illusion. that's why we are lucky, because we feel the urge to use the time to come out from this bitter illusion. but for the living dead, that bitter illusi

Who is The Topmost Object of Service?

by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

(Portrait of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda)

Question 1: Who is the topmost object of service?

Answer: In the Padma Purāṇa, Śrī Śiva Ṭhākura explains to Śrī Pārvatī-devī:

ārādhanānāṁ sarveṣāṁ viṣṇor ārādhanaṁ param
tasmāt parataraṁ devi tadīyānāṁ samarcanam

Among all forms of worship prevalent in this world, worshipping the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Hari, is the most exalted. And yet, worshipping the devotees, who render service to and perform worship of that most worshipful Supreme Lord is even more exalted than worshipping Him directly.

Even the Supreme Lord Himself worships His sincere devotee. The Supreme Lord is the topmost worshipful being, and His beloved devotee is the storehouse of love and worship of Him. The foremost among such devotees is śrī guru, so it goes without saying that to render service to and perform worship of śrī guru, he who is even worshipped by the Lord Himself, is without a doubt the greatest form

Srivasa Thakura

Srivasa Thakura is the intimate associate of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and is Sri Narada Muni in krsna-lila. Srila Gurudeva spoke on a drop of his glory on June 1st, 2002,  and we are enclosing his words of wisdom herein. The main topic of Srila Gurudeva's class was the subject of ruci, or taste for krsna-bhajana, and he gave Srivasa Thakura as an example of a pure devotee who had no taste in material affection due to his taste for bhajana:]

Vamsi dasa Babaji was always in a mood of intimacy with Caitanya Mahaprabhu. You, on the other hand, are always engaged in maintaining your life. Sometimes business is very good, and you think, "Oh, this is very good." And sometimes it is down and you think, "What to do? What to do? What to do?" You forget to chant and you forget to worship. This is not ruci (taste for bhakti). If you are in the stage of ruci, all items for your maintenance will come to you automatically. If anything is not coming for your maintenance, like money, food, or anything

Purport to Bhajahu Re Mana

Purport to Bhajahū Re Mana

New York, March 30, 1966
Prabhupāda: This is a song which a devotee is praying and asking his mind, bhajahū re mana. Mana means mind. Because, at the present moment, our mind is the driver, and this body is just like a car... In the Bhagavad-gītā also it is stated, bhrāmayan sarva-bhūtāni yantrārūḍhāni māyayā [Bg. 18.61]. This body is a car made of this material nature. The living entity, what is said, "I," I am now seated on this car prepared by the nature, material nature. And the driver is the mind. And the driver is not in my control. The driver is taking me anywhere he likes. You see? I am... Personally, I am not able to drive. I have engaged one driver, which is called the mind, and this body is the car, and the mind is carrying me like driver anywhere it likes. So therefore the proprietor, I, I am, I am requesting the driver... When I am helpless, so I am requesting, "My dear mind," bhajahū re mana, "my dear mind..." Mana means mind. "You kindly wor

When I was a young lad, I did not do what I wanted to do. I wanted to run free, to be part of the trees and the grass and the rivers and birds. I knew instinctively who I was. I wanted that natural happiness, to live free of unwanted imposing structures not of my designs. Instead, I trusted Them, the Others, the adult world. They soon made me sit in a small desk in school, for hour after hour, with my hands folded in front of me, to learn.

I had in my innocence found that when I just relaxed and let myself, just, “Be”, I felt ecstasy ! , or at least a broad sense of well being, like a molecular-level happy tingling sensation, all over and in me! When I spoke of this to significant others, the adults, they didn't know what to say, or acted like it was a child's imagination and ignored me, and so I soon learned not to trust or expose my inner self. I became bricked, in the wall.

When at age 7, I cried horrified tears at the sudden r

The Soul’s Fall

Responding to our desire, Krishna gives us a chance to forget Him.

A lecture given in Tokyo, on April 20, 1972 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness

sri-suka uvaca
atma-mayam rte rajan
parasyanubhavatmanah
na ghatetartha-sambandhah
svapna-drastur ivanjasa

Sri Sukadeva Gosvami said: O king, unless one is influenced by the energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, there is no meaning to the relationship of the pure soul in pure consciousness with the material body. That relationship is just like a dreamer's seeing his own body working.
-- Srimad-Bhagavatam 2.9.1

MANY PEOPLE INQUIRE, "How did the living entity, who was with Krishna, fall into the material world?" That question is answered here. The living entity's condition is simply the influence of the material energy; actually he has not fallen. An example is given: The moon appears to be moving when clouds pass in front of it. Actually, the moon is not

Pandava Nirjala Ekadasi

Pandava Nirjala Ekadasi

Nirjala Ekadasi  From the Brahma-vaivarta Purana.

During the hottest season (northern hemisphere), if one can perform upavasa without water one is performing a great feat. One may take only charanamrta and achamana water. Bhima the mighty warrior of the Pandava dynasty requested one vrata day by which he could obtain the fruits of all the other days of vrata that he was incapable of observing. Vyasadeva advised him to follow this difficult vrata. One should worship the Lord in the evening by bathing him in milk. On the dvadasi one should give full pots of water to brahmanas and feed them before breaking one's fast.

SAMVATSARASYA YA MADHYE EKADASYO BHAVANTI HI TASAM PHALAM AVAPNOTI PUTRA ME NA ATRA SAMSAYAH ITI MAM KESAVAH PRAHA SANKHA CAKRA GADADHARAH

(HARI BHAKTI VILASA 15/25 from PADMA PURANA Vyasadeva speaks to Bhimasena)

Oh son, Lord Keshava, Who holds the club, disk, conch and lotus flower in His hand, personally told me that all of the merit

Baladeva Vidyabhushana

Baladeva Vidyabhushana9468739676?profile=original

The time and place of Sri Baladeva Vidyabhushana’s birth are unknown. Perhaps one day historians will be able to establish these facts beyond any doubt. From the little information that we do have about his life, we can conjecture that he was born in the 17th century of the modern era. Though we do not know the name of the exact village where he took birth, it was likely in the Balesore (Baleshvara) district of Orissa, somewhere near Remuna. From the date given in his commentary on Rupa Goswami’s Stavamala, it is clear that Baladeva was still living after the Battle of Plassey in 1757.

We know that Baladeva studied in one of the villages of the Chilka Lake area in southern Orissa. There he learned grammar, poetics and logic, achieving expertise in all these subjects. He began his studies of Vedanta there, but in order to study the commentaries in greater depth, he went to Mysore. He was there particularly impressed by the logical consistency of the Madhva shuddha

Bhajana Jharikhanda, Poem

Through the endless verdant forest, Sri Caitanya roams
In the jungle Jharikhanda, this time so happy on His own.
In His blissful mood, the Lord’s ecstasy soars
Dancing with the elephants, to the tigers’ delighted roars!
He and they, together again! - the animals had no fears,
Theirs the greatest fortune when Mahaprabhu appears.

Imagine that! The Supreme Himself, playing at the role
Of His own greatest devotee, calling, “ Hari Hari bol!”
Bringing love of God for all, without any reserve
distributing it freely, so beautifully He served
The goal of life; to take pleasure, but in the rightful way
So eternal knowledge and spiritual bliss may be ours, today.

Giving up their material animosity, the animals approached with curiosity.
Within their hearts the Supersoul, reminding them of the final goal;
To return to their pure and free spiritual state,
The Lord so kindly relieving them of a bestial and hostile fate.
Splashing water, singing “Krsna”, the animals were freed
by Lord Caitanya’s

This account originally appeared in a short work by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura entitled, "Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu: His Life and Precepts." August 20, 1896

Caitanya Mahaprabhu was born in Mayapur in the town of Nadia just after sunset on the evening of the 23rd Phalguna 1407 Sakabda, answering to the 18th of February, 1486, of the Christian Era. The moon was eclipsed at the time of his birth, and the people of Nadia were then engaged, as was usual on such occasions, in bathing in the Bhagirathi with loud cheers of Haribol. His father, Jagannatha Misra, a poor brahmana of the Vedic order, and his mother, Saci-devi, a model good woman, both descended from brahmana stock originally residing in Sylhet. Mahaprabhu was a beautiful child, and the ladies of the town came to see him with presents. His mother’s father, Pandita Nilambara Cakravarti, a renowned astrologer, foretold that the child would be a great personage in time; and he, therefore, gave him the name Visvambhara.

We depend on Kṛṣṇa

Reporter (8): Swamiji, I would like to know, that I feel that your society, the Hare Kṛṣṇa consciousness society, has a very, very stable economy and that it is self-sufficient in itself. Is that so?
Hṛdayānanda: Speak a little louder.
Puṣṭa Kṛṣṇa: Is the Hare Kṛṣṇa society self-sufficient, does it have a.... He understands that our society has a very stable economy. Is it self-sufficient, our own Hare Kṛṣṇa society?
Prabhupāda: So don't you think that we are self-sufficient? We are feeding at least ten thousand devotees daily, but we have no fixed income.
Reporter (8): They don't have any fixed income.
Prabhupāda: No. None of us have any fixed income, but we are traveling all over the world, New York, London, Calcutta. It is just like going from this quarter to that quarter. Our men are moving like that. Immediately coming, one dozen men from Germany, one dozen from London, and immediately going. We are paying so much money to the airplanes, and we have got so many centers. So how it is g
