The Divinity Of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu

cakra.gif conch.gif OBJECTION: Madhva has said in his commentary to the Kathopanisad that there are nine types of offense to Lord Visnu, such as ascribing divinity to an ordinary mortal. You are guilty of this because you claim that Caitanya is an incarnation of God. The result of this is that you will go to the darkest regions of hell.

REFUTATION: There are many evidences to prove the divinity of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. First we will present those statements of sastra which are from sruti, and then those from the Puranas and other Vedic literatures.

Lord Nityananda is the eternal associate of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Rarely is the Name Nimai (Caitanya Mahaprabhu) taken without that of Nitai (Lord Nityananda).

Mahaprabhu cannot be approached or understood without the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu, Who is the
cardinal guru of all the universes and serves as an intermediary between Mahaprabhu and His devotees.

Synchronicity Nicely Confirms Diksa of Abhaya Carana Seva Dasa Maharajah Prabhu ! This Feb 5, Nityananda's Appearance Day, and Mar 7, Gaura Purnima, 2012

- this article using the Name and meaning of Abahya was published unawares by Seva Prabhu's other website assocaition, on the day his Name as Abhaya Carana Seva dasa was received. This is too coincidental to be accidental, it seems more a nice synchronicity such as occurrs under Vrnda devi's arrangements!

The Graces of the Lord are Abhaya, free from Fearfulness

BY: MAHASRNGA DASA

Jan 29, 2012 — JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN, INDIA (SUN) — It’s always been amazing to me how the cheating propensity is so prominent among ISKCON leadership. Some even mean well but just can’t help themselves, while others have a dark evil side that rises to the surface to devour them completely.

The fear factor seems to be influencing these cheaters to the extent of covering over their intelligence. There’s no shortag

Appearance of Lord Varahadev, Bhaimi Ekadasi

9468744677?profile=original

The half day fast (vrata) for the appearance of Lord Varahadev is also observed on this Ekaadasii day, and the utsav (festival celebration - pujas and feasting, etc.) is oserved on the Dvaadasii, which is when He appeared.

Yudhisthira Maharaj said, "Oh Lord of the lords, Sri Krishna, all glories unto You! Oh Master of the universe, You alone are the source of the four types of living entities - those born from eggs, those born from perspiration, those born from seeds and those born from embryos. You alone are the root cause of all, Oh Lord, and therefore You are the creator, maintainer and destroyer.

"My Lord, You have so kindly explained to me the auspicious day known as Sat-tilA EkAdasi, which occurs during the dark fortnight (krishna paksha) of the month of Magha (January - February). Now please explain to me the EkAdasii that occurs in the light fortnight (shukla or Gaura paksha) of this month. By what name is it known, and what is the process for observing it? Who is the presid

"When Caitanya Mahāprabhu took sannyāsa, His wife, Viṣṇupriyādevī, although only sixteen years old, also took the vow of austerity due to her husband’s leaving home. She chanted her beads, and after finishing one round, she collected one grain of rice. In this way, as many rounds as she chanted, she would receive the same number of rice grains and then cook them and so take prasāda. This is called austerity. Even today in India, widows or women whose husbands have taken sannyāsa follow the principles of austerity, even though they live with their children." Q: Can Parampara exist without a living pure devotee? A: Yes! From a Traditional Literalist point of view

Jan 17, 2012 — ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, USA — Anyway, regarding the need for a “Living” guru or the pure representative of Krishna. When you refer to a “living” spiritual master as opposed to a “dead” spiritual master you are referring to the body – vapu form.

The vani of guru lives eternally with his followers. The most important aspect, what is the true essence of Guru, however, is his eternal vani, not his temporary vapu manifestation. Just after Srila Prabhupad left I began hearing the phrase “Living Spiritual Master”, referring to the 11 new acaryas.

This phrase became much more pronounced in the 90′s. So one day I sat down with the Vedabase and searched for all varieties of the concept, living spiritual master, living guru, living acarya, etc. Only in recent version of the Vedabase has “living acarya” appeared, it is a quote from Satsvarup in one of his more recent books. And

We don’t usually think of instruction as something nectarean or pleasant. While we were in school, generally we spent our time wishing the whole process, or at least the day, would end. Generally, we don’t like others telling us what to do. We feel we should be able to direct our own lives as we see fit. This attitude is part of what keeps us away from taking shelter of a qualified guru.

Similarly, the four regulative principles with which we are familiar, even those of us who are neophytes in Krishna consciousness, do not strike one as positives. They are all don’ts. Don’t do this, don’t do that.

In “The Nectar Of Instruction” Srila Rupa Goswami and Srila Prabhupada give us another set of regulative principles, this time having to do with devotion. The principles really derive from ancient times and take the form of a nice poem, which is fun to remember for quizzes, and we all know how teachers love lists !

The poem is as follows;    " Sravanam kirtanam visnoh,  Smaranam pada-

A Most important Letter from Srila Prabhupada

9468754897?profile=original

Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada
Letter to his London disciples, July, 1969:

"Therefore having a bona fide spiritual master and serving him and pleasing him and getting his mercy is essential. Otherwise there can be no advancement in Krishna consciousness. And unless the spiritual master is a pure devotee of Krishna then he has no potency to give you Krishna. He is simply a cheating rascal.

So in fact above all the rules and regulations and offenses I have mentioned the most important thing, the essential thing, which is required if you want to come to the stage of purely chanting the Hare Krishna mantra is you must have a bona fide spiritual master who is a pure devotee of Krishna. Without having a bona fide spiritual master you can chant Hare Krishna forever but you will not be able to advance because Krishna does not reveal Himself in this way. He only reveals Himself to those devotees who surrender to and serve and please His pure devotees."

SRILA GOPAL BHATTA GOSWAMI and The Appearance of Sri Radha-Raman ji

The all merciful Lord Sri Gaur Hari, as He travelled from village to village throughout the south of India, continued to distribute love of Godhead wherever He went. Hearing the nectarean names of Hari from His lotus mouth, thousands and thousands men and women felt relief from the blazing fire of material existence. Various wretched, miserable and fallen souls lives were completely rejuvenated and thus they became virtuous and happy. While causing rains of love of God to fall anywhere and everywhere, without consideration of time or place, Sri Gaurasundor came to the ancient holy place of Sri Rangakshetra on an island in the middle of the Kaveri river.

sri_rangam_vimanas.jpg

The temple of Sri Ranga Kshetra was extremely large, the crest of the temple tower pierced the sky. Throughout the day and night hundreds and thousands of pilgrims were going and coming to take darsan of Lord Ranganath. The temple hall resounded with the sounds o

The wives of the sacrificing Brahmins in Vraja took birth as Jagadisa and Hiranya. The Lord (Mahaprabhu) asked for and ate their prasad on the Ekadasi day.
(Gaura-ganoddesha-dipika 192)

asid vraje chandrahaso nartako rasa-kovidah

In Vraja there was a dancer named Candrahasa who was very expert in the tasting of rasa. In Chaitanya-lila, he became Jagadisa Pandit who also took great pleasure in dancing for the Lord.
(Gaura-ganoddesha-dipika 143)

Jagadisa Pandit is considered to be simultaneously both Nityananda-shakha and Chaitanya-shakha, a branch both of Chaitanya as well as Nityananda in the desire tree of devotion. He was born in the town of Gauhati (Pragjyotishpur) in modern Assam. His father’s name was Kamalaksha Bhatta. Both of his parents were devotees of Vishnu. When they died, he came with his wife Duhkh

Jan 4, 2012;  -  Many devotees of Sri Krishna worldwide will conquer over Maya and taste spiritual love in liberation. Krsna consciousness will continue to break the walls of institutions who would confine Him, and instead focus more on all mankind. As a result, many devotees will begin to take the whole world as the Greater Temple for cleansing. This will be a year like the Gundica Temple cleansing and purification by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, both for individuals and for societies. Joyful determined efforts together will bring shining results. The false and mighty shall begin their fall, and the humble will be seen to rise and be exalted before their enemies. The world will not be ending this year nor anytime soon. Those who like to to take advantage of those who are asleep or ignorant, like banksters, poli-trick-ians, concocted-religionists, will soon be gone, and be reborn as bedbugs, mosquitos, leeches, piranha fish, diseases, and swine, to continue their programs at a less expensi
