Dear Tamohara prabhu,
Most recently, H.G. Yamuna devi dasi (ACBSP) departed, leaving her body at her home in Me
My dear object of affection,
Sriman (Prabhu)--- went to see you. Not meeting you, he came back, for he did not have time to wait. Regardless, it is a matter of great fortune for you that you were able to attend Sri Puri-Dhama Parikrama and participate in the month-long festival of observing vows. How many people have this fortunate opportunity to cultivate hearing and chanting of Sri Hari-katha in a regulated manner in such good association?
We can observe that many people are very eager to go on pleasure trips within their own country and abroad, but it is only possible for one with spiritual credit to long for and desire to visit Sri Dhama in the association of saints, and to see the holy tirthas.
In order to obtain such an opportunity, one must consciously and carefully renounce any concern for worldly gain or loss, or the pros and cons involved, and simply go. Otherwise, one will be cheated of the opportunity for such immediate welfare. “Time and tide wait for no one.” Once an op

So with Bhagavata Prabhu gone, and Maharajah absorbed in his samadhi of book translation, that left me as secretary treasurer with a responsibility. I had earned a few thousand Canadian carving candles back in Montreal before i came over, and had deposited about 27, 000 rupees in the Commercial Bank, which had just opened down the road Highway No 5 national, the one outside our ashrama. Exchange rates were roughly seven to one in those years.
We needed a few things; so I purchased new locally made khadi dhotis, white khadi kurtas, and dye for the brahmacaries, and mosquito nets for us all.
One day , shortly before, we had an engagment in Nilamadhava Mandira on the bank of the Mahanadi. The mosquitoes that night were fierce, and Maharajaha was to sleep in a dark room with so many of them hovering. so, realizing that is was best to protect him, the older sannyasi, I took my net, went to his room, and with him sleeping , set the net up around him safely. then, i took my sellping bag and

Cut up one large well-cleaned eggplant, skin on, into medium cubes.
Heat one large pan, add 2 tblsp corn oil and 2 tblsp olive oil, or ghee may be used of course!
Fry the eggplant at a low to medium heat, 5/10, for about an hour, or until well-cooked and broken-down-soft. Be attentive and stir enough, scraping pan bottom, otherwise it can readily burn especially at unneccessarily nutrition-destroying high heat. Any burned parts represents your own mode of material nature ! Haribol.
Making room in one corner of the pan clear, add a little more oil, and ;
add one tspn. each of; anise seeds, coriander, and premixed subji masala or other curry masala, if on hand. Add 1/2 tspn each of of black pepper, tumeric, methi (fennel) leaf, basil leaf. Add 1/3 tspn of oregano, fennel seeds, and hing. 1/2 of a small green chilli, chopped, may be added if desired for extra heat. Fry the spices (and chilli) until brown, then mix with the already cooking subji,

My dear #########,
Yesterday I came to know through a letter sent by Śrī #########, that Śrī ######### has decided to live in isolation in a straw hut with the objective of making progress in bhajana. Yet by planning to construct that hut, he has vowed to impede the process of hari-kīrtana in Madras. Engaging in such material practices may even prove to be appropriate in many forthcoming lifetimes, but as long as someone has bhagavad-seva pravṛtti – the tendency to render service to the Supreme Lord – it is not at all appropriate for him to deteriorate his inclination to serve Him till his very last breath of life.
I am not in favour of the prospect of renunciants, or sannyāsīs, staying in straw huts constructed in the middle of

"I can assure you your steady progress in K. C.; as you are sincerely trying for the cause of K.C. In the conditioned stage there is every possibility of being mistaken; but Krishna will always protect us if we are sincere; even if there is a gross mistake, Krishna forgives his who is very sincere so go on working sincerely and Krishna will protect you always."

"The principle should be that we utilize our talents for the service of the Lord. That is real sannyasa. Formal acceptance of sannyasa, as required for all old men, means that one should retire from materialistic life, and devote his time and energy for the service of the Lord. As you are devoted
Subhadra is the sister of Krishna. She is considered an incarnation of YogaMaya who appears as per the instructions of Krishna. Subhadra was married to her first cousin Arjuna, the Pandava, who was the third son of Queen Kunti. Kunti was the sister of Vasudeva, who was Subhadra's father.
Subhadra and Arjuna were the parents of Abhimanyu, whose posthumous son Parikshita, born to the widowed Uttara, was the sole surviving dynast of the entire Kuru family.
Lords Balarama, Subhadra, and Jagannath
In Jagannath Puri, Subhadra's birthday is celebrated on Janmastami. According to the Niladri-mahodayam, Mahamaya was conceived in the womb of Yashoda and took her birth in the family of Nanda. Vasudeva then exchanged Krishna and Durga as Krishna ordered him to do. Mahamaya’s birth is celebrated in the Jagannath temple along with Krishna’s birth. Subhadra Devi represents Durga and hence is given special prayers and worshiped during the Durga Janmotsava.

The Nectar Of Instruction is exactly that, instructions for leading a nectarean life in Krishna Consciousness. We begin the path by controlling the senses: Chanting, eating prasadam, having KC children, Krishna Katha, Sankirtan. We advance further by submitting to a spiritual master, who brings us further on the path to KC. By offering up everything to Krishna, we advance. The highest form is prema, total dependence on Krishna, just like Radharani and the gopis.
How does one recognize a spiritual master? The spiritual master is kind and compassionate to all jivas, even animal-bodied ones. The spiritual master works for the upliftment of jivas, desiring all to reach Goloka-Vridavan. But most importantly, the true spiritual master is all about Krishna. The spiritual master can use the most mundane things for the glory of Krishna. The spiritual master turns the dross of material life to the gold of spiritual life by revealing how to follow the regulative princip

Question 1: What is our highest duty?
Answer: This human form of life lasts only a moment and it is extremely rare. Instead of wasting our time by engaging in wicked, offensive or wasteful activities, we should all engage our minds in hari-bhajana, abandoning everything else.
We have attained this human birth after many lifetimes, and this human form is the rarest form of life. It is not just rare, but extremely rare. Although it is a temporary designation, it is nevertheless known as paramārtha-prada – that which grants supreme, absolute welfare. Those
who have discriminating intelligence, for as long as their human body permits the pursuit of spiritual life (sādhana), abandon all material activities, and without even a moment’s delay endeavour to achieve the highest benefit.
In order to attain the topmost benefit, one has to take shelter of the lotus feet of a bona fide spiritual m

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letter dated Nov. 1, 1974, and have noted the contents. Thank you for your kind sentiments. You are a very fortunate person that you have come into contact with our Krishna Consciousness movement.

Main point of Krishna consciousness is how to first save ourselves and then save others.
A pure Vaishnava should be very careful to engage in his specific duty without criticizing others. This is the safest position. O
