(That is immortal consciousness. "Kṛṣṇa is mine, and I am Kṛṣṇa's." This is immortal consciousness. When you come to this consciousness—that is called Kṛṣṇa consciousness—then you are saved) 🙏💖

"I am absorbed in thought of this mortal consciousness, "This is my country, this is my body, this is my family, this is my community, this is my nation . . ." They are all mortal. But immortal consciousness is that "I am Kṛṣṇa's." That is immortal consciousness. "Kṛṣṇa is mine, and I am Kṛṣṇa's." This is immortal consciousness. When you come to this consciousness—that is called Kṛṣṇa consciousness—then you are saved. Immortal consciousness."

Attachment Has To Be Turned To Krsna

(Attachment . . . "Then I shall finish all my attachment?" No, you cannot give up your attachment, because that is the symptom of life. You cannot be free from attachment. But the attachment has to be turned to Kṛṣṇa) 🙏💖

"Māyayāpahṛta-jñānā: his so-called education has no value, because his real knowledge has been taken away. Real knowledge is—that is given in the Bhagavad-gītā in the beginning—real knowledge is that "I am not this body." But everyone is working on the bodily concept of life; therefore they are all mad.

Pramattasya, gṛheṣu saktasya. Because he is madman, therefore he is so much attached. So we have to unforget. Just to go to the opposite. Attachment . . . "Then I shall finish all my attachment?" No, you cannot give up your attachment, because that is the symptom of life. You cannot be free from attachment. But the attachment has to be turned to Kṛṣṇa."

10906566257?profile=RESIZE_710x(I tell it, declare it publicly, anyone who is not Kṛṣṇa conscious, he is rascal number one. I declare it. Come, any intelligent man. I shall talk with him. I shall prove that he is rascal number one if he has no Kṛṣṇa consciousness. That's a fact.) 🙏💖

"So as father is very unhappy seeing the unhappy condition of the sons, although the son does not know, but father is unhappy, so Kṛṣṇa is unhappy. Therefore He comes. He canvasses that, "Why you are captivated by this false, so-called happiness? You give up this." Sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja (BG 18.66). "I will give you relief. You come to Me. You will live happily, eternally, blissful life, without any," I mean to say, "scarcity, without any trouble."

So the Kṛṣṇa's business—He comes here. He has no business to come here because His agent, prakṛti, is doing everything. But still, out of compassion, He comes in His original form, Kṛṣṇa, or in His incarnation as Kapiladeva, and He says the same thing, "My dear sons,

Servant Of The Servant Of Krsna

(You cannot become direct servant. You first of all become servant of the servant. The guru is the servant of Kṛṣṇa, and you become his servant. Then you . . . you are bona fide servant) 🙏💖

"Guru never says that, "I am Kṛṣṇa. I am God. I am Bhagavān." No. He never says. He is not guru then. He will say: "I am the most humble servant of the servant of the servant of God," not direct servant—servant, servant, servant, servant, hundred times down. Gopī-bhartuḥ pada-kamalayor dāsa-dāsa-dāsa-dāsānudāsaḥ (CC Madhya 13.80).

This is Caitanya Mahāprabhu's words. Gopī-bhartuḥ pada-kamalayor dāsa-dāsa-dāsa-dāsānudāsaḥ. The more you become servant, servant, you are perfect servant. Don't try to become direct servant. That is not possible. You cannot become direct servant. You first of all become servant of the servant. The guru is the servant of Kṛṣṇa, and you become his servant. Then you . . . you are bona fide servant. That is our real position."

I Am Part And Parcel Of Krsna

(So Kṛṣṇa says, "These Brahmans, these living entities, they are My part and parcel." That is aham understanding, "I." What I am? I am part and parcel of Kṛṣṇa) 🙏💖

"Aham means the part and parcel of the Supreme Brahman, Para-brahman. Kṛṣṇa is Para-brahman. Paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān (BG 10.12). So Kṛṣṇa says, "These Brahmans, these living entities, they are My part and parcel." That is aham understanding, "I." What I am? I am part and parcel of Kṛṣṇa. So one has to study the body, where is the "I," then what is the relationship of the "I," what is the position of the "I," "What I am?"

This is intelligence. This is intelligence. Caitanya Mahāprabhu begins from here to teach Sanātana Gosvāmī that this "I," I, you, we are—jīvera svarūpa haya nitya kṛṣṇa dāsa (CC Madhya 20.108-109). This is the beginning of Caitanya's teachings. Therefore rascals, they cannot understand what is the movement of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. They think that "This crazy fellow, unnecessari

(The Caitanya Mahāprabhu, He also did it. He never sat down tightly in Vṛndāvana. He also did it. He traveled all over the India and took so much trouble. So preaching is very important, and you should engage. That will help you. Every one of you should be pure in your activities and try to preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness as far as possible) 🙏💖

"But still, the devotees, they take the risk that "All right, let me try to convince this person that 'Take to Kṛṣṇa consciousness.' " Even Kṛṣṇa says that "Don't try, because they will not be able to understand," still, they try. That is a devotee. Therefore devotee is more merciful than Kṛṣṇa. Devotee is more merciful. Even there is no hope to understand, still, he goes door to door: "Please take to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Please take to Kṛṣṇa, and you'll be happy."

It is not always . . . Just like you are trying to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness with so much endeavor. It's not that cent percent people of the world will take. That is not possible. Ei rū

We Need To Seek The Mercy Of Guru And Krsna

(Caitanya Mahāprabhu says, guru-kṛṣṇa-kṛpāya, by the mercy of guru, by the mercy of Kṛṣṇa. It is a question of mercy. It is not the question of scholarship or opulence or richness. No. The whole bhakti-mārga depends on the mercy of the Lord. So we have to seek the mercy) 🙏💖

"But if I try to follow the words of my Guru Mahārāja, then I become complete. This is the secret. Yasya deve parā bhaktir yathā deve tathā gurau (ŚU 6.23). If one has staunch faith in the Supreme Personality of Godhead and as much faith in the guru, yathā deve tathā gurau, then the revealed scriptures become manifest. It is not the education. It is not the scholarship. It is faith in Kṛṣṇa and guru. Therefore Caitanya-caritāmṛta-kar says, guru-kṛṣṇa-kṛpāya pāya bhakti-latā-bīja (CC Madhya 19.151). Not by education; not by scholarship. Never says. Caitanya Mahāprabhu says, guru-kṛṣṇa-kṛpāya, by the mercy of guru, by the mercy of Kṛṣṇa.

It is a question of mercy. It is not the question of scholarship or opulence or

We Forget But Krsna Never Forgets

(So Kṛṣṇa replied that, "Yes, at that time you were also present, but you have forgotten. I have not forgotten." That is the difference between ordinary human being and God. That is the difference. God does not forget past, present, future) 🙏💖

"Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Bhagavān, ṣaḍ-aiśvarya-pūrṇa. He has no defects because He is in full knowledge. Aiśvaryasya samagrasya vīryasya yaśasaḥ śriyaḥ jñāna (Viṣṇu Purāṇa 6.5.47). He has got full knowledge. Vedāhaṁ sama . . . (BG 7.26). He says that "I know past, present, future—everything." This past, present and future, knowledge, how Kṛṣṇa knew, that was also proved.
When Kṛṣṇa said that, "I spoke this philosophy to Vivasvān . . ." Vivasvān means to the sun god, in the beginning, before Manu. That means about forty thousand millions of years ago, according to Manu-saṁhitā. Then Arjuna inquired,

"My dear Kṛṣṇa, we are contemporaries. We are born some years ago. How is that—You instructed the sun god, Vivasvān, this

Developing Love For Radha Krsna

(And once you get the impression of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa for meditation, and if you increase, then life, you are success. Life is successful. Because as soon as you become little inclined to see Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa within your heart, that means you have developed His love) 🙏💖

"So this chance should be given. Let them chant Hare Kṛṣṇa, either willfully or jokingly or any way, let him chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. This is the movement. Let him chant once. Let his tongue utter this transcendental vibration, Hare Kṛṣṇa—his life will be successful. It is such nice movement. You haven't got to do anything.

Simply you come here and see Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, you will be benefited. It is very easy. Su-sukhaṁ kartum avyayam (BG 9.2). And once you get the impression of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa for meditation, and if you increase, then life, you are success. Life is successful. Because as soon as you become little inclined to see Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa within your heart, that means you have developed His love.

(So when there is satanic influence over the kingdom of God, or the devotees, or the appointed demigods, they are disturbed by satanic influence, then Kṛṣṇa comes) 🙏💖

"So when there is satanic influence over the kingdom of God, or the devotees, or the appointed demigods, they are disturbed by satanic influence, then Kṛṣṇa comes. Yadā yadā hi . . . that is stated, confirmed, in Bhagavad-gītā.

yadā yadā hi dharmasya
glānir bhavati bhārata
abhyutthānam adharmasya
tadātmānaṁ sṛjāmy aham

(BG 4.7)

Whenever there is discrepancies in the . . . in the discharge of natural laws of God, then God incarnates. Either He incarnates Himself, or He sends His bona fide representative, or He sends His powerful representative, like that. So whenever there is incarnation of God, it is to be understood that there is discrepancies in the matter of discharging the laws made by God."

(A pure devotee is kept in the hand of Kṛṣṇa. Just like if you keep something very carefully, jewels, in your hand, you are very careful)🙏💖

"People become dharmika, go to the temples—that's very good; they are pious—to ask something, "O God, give us our daily bread." A bhakta, a pure bhakta, he does not ask anything. Why he should ask? A pure devotee is kept in the hand of Kṛṣṇa. Just like if you keep something very carefully, jewels, in your hand, you are very careful.

Similarly, when Kṛṣṇa takes care of you, as He says, ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo mokṣayiṣyāmi (BG 18.66), then you are just in the . . . at the care of. Just like if a big man, a very rich man, if he assures you, "Oh, don't bother, I'll take care of you for everything," just imagine what is your position, if a big man gives you assurance that "I'll take care of you. Don't bother. You haven't got to do anything. I shall take."

(Therefore Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement means you have to keep yourself always connected with the original powerhouse. And then wherever you'll go, there will be light. There'll be light) 🙏💖

"Evaṁ paramparā prāptam (BG 4.2), if you have got connection with the original powerhouse, then there is electricity. Otherwise it is simply wire. What is the value? Simply wiring will not help you. The connection must be there. And if you lose the connection, then it is of no value. Therefore Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement means you have to keep yourself always connected with the original powerhouse. And then wherever you'll go, there will be light. There'll be light. If you're disconnected, there will be no light. The bulb is there, the wiring is there, the switch is there. Everything is there."

The Name of God; Mungu

  •  Guest: And "Kṛṣṇa" is another name… Can one translate the word "Kṛṣṇa" with another name of God?
Prabhupāda: Yes. It can be. God has many qualities. God is full of all qualities, so you select one quality, and you name God in that way. Kṛṣṇa is all-perfect because He comprehends all ideas, all at once. Therefore this is the perfect name of God. Just like God is called Govardhana-dhārī. Because He has the quality to lift the Govardhana Hill, He is called Govardhana-dhārī. God is called Nandanandana—the son of Mahārāja Nanda. So what is that reason? The reason is that He appeared as son of Nanda Mahārāja; therefore He is called Nandanandana.
So all the names of God, they are defined according to His qualities. But He has got all the qualities. So any name which is indicating to the quality of God, that is God's name. But this name "Kṛṣṇa" is prime, because it includes all the qualities. Therefore "Kṛṣṇa" is the original name. Suppose you name one

Changing bodies.. Srila Prabhupada.

Guest: Now you say we don't die, we go [indistinct]. We don't die is what you are saying. Then why do we have to get this changing of bodies?

Prabhupāda: That is another question. This is nice question. Actually, we don't require to change bodies. We don't require. But we are put into certain conditions that we have to change our body. That is material life. In the material life, in the material existence, we have to change bodies, because we have got different desires, different consciousness.
Now why there is fight between one nation to another nation, one body to another's body? Because they have got different consciousness. Is it not? I have got a consciousness, you have got another consciousness. Therefore I don't agree with you, you don't agree with me, and ultimately we fight.
Similarly, because we have now come to this material world for enjoying this material world, under different consciousness we are given different bodies. God is so kind: "All r

Śyāmasundara: Yeah. Mr. Goyal is a self-appointed guru.
Prabhupāda: Oh! He, he wants to become a guru?
Śyāmasundara: Yeah.
Prabhupāda: Oh, then it is.
Śyāmasundara: They have ambitions, to be guru.
Dhanañjaya: And all these meetings, all these meetings I’ve been to, they’re all saying, “We must remain Hindu. We must not forget our culture. We may be in England, but we are Hindus.’’ Like this. “India, she is our real mother, not this England. India, she is our real mother. We must be thinking of India, and to become always thinking of Hindus.”
Śyāmasundara: How to, how to get rupees out of India.
Prabhupāda: So therefore it is very difficult to get their cooperation. They’re mentality is, they don’t want to understand this Kṛṣṇa philosophy. They want to remain Hindu. Hindu means hodgepodge, that’s all. Hindu means hodgepodge.
Dhanañjaya: And at the same time…
Prabhupāda: Hindu means Śaṅkara philosophy.
Śyāmasundara: Śaṅkara.
Prabhupāda: Yes, that God has no

Scholars all over the world appreciate Srila Prabhupada's Original books, his erudite scholarship and deep understanding of the timeless wisdom of Indian scriptures...
Dr. Lawrence Shinn, Professor of Religion in Oberlin College said: “the best feature of the Hare Krishna Movement is that it provided scholars with excellent translations of the rarest books on Krishna-bhakti.” (1974).
Srila Prabhupada's Original writing is the philosophical and practical foundation for the Krishna Consciousness Movement.
His writing attracted the attention of philosophers, students of religion, historians, linguists, sociologists and political scientists.
These scholars considered Srila Prabhupada's writing to be the greatest contribution to a troubled human society.
“Prabhupada’s translation is an ideal blend of literal accuracy and religious insight,” said Dr. Thomas J. Hopkins, Professor of Religion, Franklin and Marshall College, Pennsylvania.

We Are All Tarzans, We Have Forgotten

(Just like there is a story of Tarzan. So we are all Tarzans. So we have forgotten, you see? So the whole process is to revive. That is called ahaṁ brahmāsmi. "Oh, I am the son of God. Then where is my distress?") 🙏💖

"So we have to revive our consciousness. It is not that it has to be manufactured something new. The relationship is there. Just like a son, he has forgotten his father. He is very rich man's son, but he's loitering in the street, and he does not know. Just like there is a story of Tarzan. So we are all Tarzans. So we have forgotten, you see?

So the whole process is to revive. That is called ahaṁ brahmāsmi. "Oh, I am the son of God. Then where is my distress?" So revival. Kṛṣṇa consciousness means to free, make free the consciousness from all contamination of material existence. You call it Kṛṣṇa consciousness or God consciousness, the same thing.

So this is purificatory process that, "I am Kṛṣṇa's. I am God's." Everyone is God's, but he has forgotten. In the an

(The more you glorify, you'll feel more enthusiastic to more glorify, glorify, glorify. This is spiritual) 🙏💖

"So similarly, Kṛṣṇa's words, everything Kṛṣṇa, absolute. His name, His form, His quality, His activities—they are all fresh and new. Otherwise, how the devotees can glorify the same Kṛṣṇa daily with greater enthusiasm? Greater enthusiasm. The more you glorify, you'll feel more enthusiastic to more glorify, glorify, glorify.

This is spiritual. In the material world, if you speak one thing once, twice, thrice, four times, then it becomes disgusting. But how this Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra . . . you are chanting. You can chant twenty-four hours. It will feel fresh and enthusiasm."

(But if we catch Kṛṣṇa very strongly, māyā cannot do anything. Yes. That we should be fixed up in catching Kṛṣṇa very tightly.) 🙏💖

Tamāla Kṛṣṇa:" If māyā takes a hold on one, what is the quickest way to go back to Kṛṣṇa?"
Prabhupāda: "Oh, that Kṛṣṇa, that Kṛṣṇa . . . simply whenever there is māyā's attraction, just pray to Kṛṣṇa, "Please save me. Please save me." This is the only way. And He'll save you. We are in the māyā's kingdom, so māyā is strong very, here. But if we catch Kṛṣṇa very strongly, māyā cannot do anything. Yes. That we should be fixed up in catching Kṛṣṇa very tightly. Then there is no falldown. Yes."
