Srila Nimbarkacharya Appearance

The main exponent of the Kumara or Chatuhsana sampradaya (this knowledge was transmitted to the four Kumaras by the Hamsa avatara), who lived in the 13th century and propagated the doctrine called dvaita advaita, "simultaneous oneness and duality".

Shri Nimbarkacharya is believed to be the incarnation of the Sudarshana Chakra (the Discus weapon of Krishna)

At the end of Treta Yuga, the Brahmanas, being afraid of the Asuras, prayed to Lord Hari. They also prayed to Brahma who himself prayed to Lord Hari again. Then the Lord summoned his own Sudarshana Chakra -a part of Himself- and commanded him to descend on earth to revive and teach the Vaishnava Dharma which was waning and which he could learn from Narada, and spread it all around.

Tulasi-Saligram Vivaha

The wedding of Salagrama and Tulasi Devi.

tulsi-vivaha-iskcon-amravati11.jpg

This is the celebration of the marriage ceremony of Srimati Tulsi Devi and Lord Sri Krishna.

Marriage of Shalagrama and Tulasi written by Sri Padmanabha Gosai.
Shri Vasishthaji said that what I have heard in ancient times from Lord Brahma about the marriage of Tulasi I will now describe according to what is written in the Narada-pancaratra. First one should plant Tulasi either in the house or the forest, and after three years one may perform her marriage. The auspicious times when one may perform the marriage of Shalagrama and Tulasi are described as follows. When the sun is moving in the north, Jupiter and Venus are rising, in the month of Kartika, from the Ekadashi to the full moon in the month of Magha, and when constellations that are auspicious for marriage appear, especially the full moon day. – First one should arrange a place for sacrifice (yajna-kunda) under a canopy (mandapa). Then after performing shanti-vidhana, one should install si

"We should not give up our reason and discriminatory power just to be gentle. One must have good discriminatory power to judge a thing on its merit. We should not follow the mild nature of a woman and thereby accept that which is not genuine." (Purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, 1.7.42)

Srila Kashishvara Pandit Disappearance

Kashishvara Pandit

Shri Sadhana Dipika says, "I worship Shri Kashishvara Pandit whose power of love and devotion brought Shri Chaitanya to Western India as a Deity." Today the original Deities of Gaura-Govinda and Govindaji are lovingly adored by thousands of Devotees in Jaipur, Rajasthan. (In the image: Shri Gaura Govinda, Jaipur, Rajastan).

Shri Ishvara Puri sent his disciples, Govinda and Kashishvara Pandit, to Jagannatha Puri to humbly serve Lord Chaitanya. Reluctant to accept service from His Godbrothers, Shri Chaitanya finally agreed since it was His guru's wish. Named Kalavati and Sasirekha in Vraja lila, Govinda and Kashishvara bring Yamuna water to Lord Shri Krishna. Kashishvara Pandit, who was strong and powerfully built, used to walk before Lord Chaitanya keeping the crowds from touching Him. And after kirtans he would serve Prasadam to all the Devotees.

Shri Gaurasundara asked Kashishvara to move to Vrindavana for worshiping Shri Rupa Gosvami's Deity of Govindaji. Fearing separation from

Srila Bhugarbha Goswami Disappearance

Just as there is very little mentioned in the scriptures about the life of Srila Lokanatha Goswami, in the same way, there is little written about his dear friend Srila Bhugarbha Goswami. Srila Lokanatha and Sri Bhugarbha Goswami were of one heart and mind. On the order of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu they went to live in Vrindavana. Bhugarbha Goswami was a disciple of Gadadhara Pandita. Among his disciples were Sri Govindadeva's pujari Chaitanya Dasa, as well as Mukundananda Chakravarti, Premi Krishnadasa and others.

Sri Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami writes: "The eleventh branch of Gadadhara Goswami was Bhugarbha Goswami and the twelfth was Bhagavata Dasa. Both of them went to Vrindavana and resided there for life."

Sri Kavikarnapura writes in his Gaura-ganodesa-dipika that Bhugarbha Goswami was formerly the gopi named Prema Manjari in Vrindavana. While in Vrindavana, Bhugarbha Goswami passed away and entered into the unmanifest pastimes of the Lord on the fourteenth day of the full moon

‘In 1971, Muslims murdered 2.4 million Hindus and raped 200,000 Hindu women’

The article is deeply anti-Western with a common neglect we hear from Indian people to acknowledgement the fact that Britain saved India from its Muslim invaders attempts to turn their nation into an Islamic State. You never hear a single Indian admit this fact which is strange. Instead they are focused purely on anti-Western rhetorics. However, it covers a rather little mention incident where over 2.4 million Hindus were killed by Muslims. Muslim terrorism, attacks, tensions continue to this day. There is no Britain left in India they can blame for it.

Understanding Islamic violence; how to defend our freedoms

Interview by People of Shambhala.

In the wake of renewed violence against Hindus in Pakistan, and with more than 100 Hindu families seeking asylum in India, Director of the Canadian Hindu Advocacy group spoke to People of Shambhala. Mr. Baner

Bhisma Pancaka

9468777886?profile=original

This kind of 5 day fast is also prescribed for the last 5 days of Kartika (Damodara) Month and it is known as "Bhisma Pancaka". During that vrata puja offerings to the Lord are also prescribed.

There are also mantras that go with these offerings. However, I didn't find any specific mention about this for Purusottama month. In the Padma Purana it only stated that in addition to ekadasee one can observe a "pancaratrika" fast until amavasya. Here are offerings prescribed for Bhisma Pancaka.

Bhisma Pancaka Fasting

The fasting starts on Ekadasi Day and will continue until the, Rasa purnima Day. The fasting is broken at sunset (or at moon rise) on Rasa Purnima day. Generally it is recommended to do full fast on Ekadasi and then the following four days fruits and roots fasting. Or one can do five day fruits and roots fasting.

Levels of fasting:

Devotees can choose whichever level of fasting as is convenient to them. It should not disturb their normal devotional service(s) and daily sadhana.

Gaura Kishora Dasa Babaji Maharaja

Shrila Gaura Kishora Dasa Babaji.

In 1849, Shrila Gaura Kishora Dasa Babaji left grihasta life after the death of his wife. He moved to Vrindavana and took initiation from Shri Bhagavata Dasa Babaji, a disciple of Shri Jagannatha Dasa, Babaji. For over thirty years Gaura Kishora Dasa stayed in Vrindavana performing bhajana under the trees at Giri Govardhana, Nandagrama, Varshana, Radha-Kunda, Surya-kunda, Raval, Gokula.

Sitting in seclusion, he chanted 200,000 names of Krishna every day (128 rounds of japa). He felt painful separation from Radha-Govinda and cried profusely. As he wandered through the dvadasa vana (12 forests) of Vraja, he would loudly chant the Holy Names in a deep voice full of lamentation. He would also relish the following bhajan:

kothay go prema-mayi radhe radhe!
radhe radhe go jaya radhe radhe!
dekha diya prana rakho radhe radhe!
tomar kangal tomay dake radhe radhe!
radhe vrindavana-vilasini radhe radhe!
radhe kanu-mano-mohini radhe radhe!

Gopastami, Gosthastami

krishna-balram.jpg

Gopastami, or Gosthastami is came after previously having grazed the calves, on this day Krsna first went out to graze the cows. In this way He became a gopa, a cowherd boy.

On this day lord Sri Krishna became a qualified cowherd. Before this day, he was a keeper of the calves.

The Killing of Dhenukasura:

"Thus Sri Krishna, along with His elder brother Balarama, passed the childhood age known as kaumara and stepped into the age of pauganda, from the sixth year up to the tenth. At that time, all the cowherd men conferred and agreed to give those boys who had passed their fifth year charge of the cows in the pasturing ground. Given charge of the cows, Krishna and Balarama traversed Vrindavana, purifying the land with Their lotus footprints."

It is stated in the Karttika-mahatmya section of the Padma Purana:

suklastami karttike tu
smrta gopastami budhaih
tad-dinad vasudevo bhud
gopah purvam tu vatsapah

"The eighth lunar day of the bright fortnight of the month of Karttika is known by authorities

Gadadhara Dasa Goswami

...Krishna Dasa Kaviraja describe Lord Chaitanya as radha-bahva-dyuti suvalita, "characterized by the emotions and bodily luster of Shrimati Radharani." Gadadhara Dasa is this dyuti, luster. Gadadhara Dasa is sometimes called "the personification of Sri Radhika's divine effulgence." (In the image: Shrimati Radharani).

Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has basically two groups of associated. One group such as the dvadasa gopalas (Abhirama Gopalas, Gauridasa Pandit, Dhananjaya and others) serve Sri Nityananda Prabhu in the mood of sakhya rasa (Friendship). The second group always stay merged in the mellow of madhurya rasa (conjugal love).

Sri Gadadhara Goswami is a united form of Chandrakanti gopi (an expansion of Radharani's effulgence) and Purnanada (an expansion of Lord Balarama's dear girlfriend). Thus, Gadadhara Dasa was an associate of both Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Sri Nityananda Prabhu. Krishna Dasa Kaviraja describe Lord Chaitanya as radha-bahva-dyuti suvalita, "characterized by t

Srila Dhananjaya Pandit Disappearance

 9468785899?profile=original

Sri Chaitanya Bhagavata describe Dhananjaya Pandit as vilaksana mahanta, "having all the characteristics of a great personality." He took part in Lord Gaurachandra's Navadwipa kirtana pastimes before moving to Vrindavana on Mahaprabhu's order.

Carrying only a kamandalu–but remaining absorbed in love of Sri Krishna and Sri Chaitanya–he traveled widely and preached. He established Deities of Gaura-Nitai, Sri Gopinatha, and Damodara. In Vraja lila he is Vasudama, one of Lord Balarama's dvadasa gopalas. His samadhi is in the 64 Samadhis Area.

Srila Shrinivasa Acharya Disappearance

Shrinivasa Acharya

Seeing his absorption in Gauranga prema, they knew he was "an embodiment of Gaura-shakti, the energy of Shri Gauranga Mahaprabhu." (In the image: Shrinivasa Acharya

After witnessing Lord Gauranga's sannyasa ceremony at Katva, Chaitanya Dasa and his pregnant wife visited Lord Chaitanya in Jagannatha Puri. "Soon your wife will give birth to a son named 'Shrinivasa' said Lord Chaitanya, "and through Shrinivasa all the bhakti shastras of Rupa and Sanatana will be distributed."

When his father left this world Shrinivasa visited the remaining associates of Lord Gauranga in Katva, Navadwipa, Jagannatha Puri. They blessed Shrinivasa and gave him valuable instructions for spiritual advancement. Seeing his absorption in Gauranga prema, they knew he was "an embodiment of Gaura-shakti, the energy of Shri Gauranga Mahaprabhu."

There are two rails the Hare Krsna Movement train runs on; Bhagavata and Panca-ratriki-viddhi margas. Bhagavata marga is the spiritual reality, there are no restrictions. On the other rail, we have an organized disciplic succession and processes and tantra recognized as authoritative and disciplic-success-ion supporting. The train on one rail, derails.

Paul Whitrod Parasurama Das

Atma Tattva: In the early ‘80s in Bangalore, I was required to make at least two Life Members a month. I was a bad Life Membership maker and one month I had only ten days left. I was looking in the telephone directory for Bengali names and I found a Ganguly.‟ I called and said, “I’m speaking from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. I want to come and see you today.” Mr. Ganguly sounded positive. He said, “Oh, you are from the Hare Krishna Movement? Please see me at eleven O’clock.”

I took the membership form, a small set of books, a poster and so on, and I went to see him. To my surprise, I found that his was a huge place, almost equal to the aeronautical engineering place in Bangalore. I lost hope— there was no way this man was going to become a member. I went to one secretary, then another, then another, and when my appointment time came I was still with secretaries.

Ganguly was the top man. I thought, “Since I came all this way, I shou

According to the Vaiṣṇava regulative principles, one must be initiated as a brāhmaṇa. The Hari-bhakti-vilāsa (2.6) quotes the following injunction from the Viṣṇu-yāmala:

adīkṣitasya vāmorukṛtaṁ sarvaṁ nirarthakam
paśu-yonim avāpnotidīkṣā-virahito janaḥ

“‘Unless one is initiated by a bona fide spiritual master, all his devotional activities are useless. A person who is not properly initiated can descend again into the animal species.’”

Hari-bhakti-vilāsa (2.10) further quotes:
ato guruṁ praṇamyaivaṁsarva-svaṁ vinivedya ca
gṛhṇīyād vaiṣṇavaṁ mantraṁdīkṣā-pūrvaṁ vidhānataḥ

“‘It is the duty of every human being to surrender to a bona fide spiritual master. Giving him everything — body, mind and intelligence — one must take Vaiṣṇava initiation from him.’”

"One should not proudly think that one can understand the transcendental loving service of the Lord simply by reading books... One must accept a Vaisnava guru (adau gurv-asrayam), and then by questions and answers one should graduall

Islam described in Purana

courtesy Madhav Ananda Prabhu;

"That city is known as their site of pilgrimage, a place which was
Madina or free from intoxication. Having a form of a ghost (Bhuta), the expert illusionist Mahamada appeared at night in front of king Bhojaraja and said: O king, your religion is of course known as the best religion among all. Still I am going to establish a terrible and demoniac religion by the order of the Lord.

The symptoms of my followers will be that they first of all will cut their genitals, have no shikha, but having beard, be wicked, make noise loudly and eat everything. They should eat animals without performing any rituals. This is my opinion. They will perform purificatory act with the musala or a pestle as you purify your things with kusha. Therefore, they will be known as musalman, the corrupters of religion. Thus the demoniac religion will be founded by me. After having heard all this the king came back to his palace and that ghost went back to his place."

Chanting 64 rounds daily is a bloody waste of time, first class cheating !!!!

Bhakta George Pye quotes;  Prabhupāda: Well, saṅga means execution. When you associate with medical association or sharebrokers’ association, simply go there and sit down is not your business. You have to do something. You have to do something. Sat-saṅga means that. Tad-yoṣanāt aśu apavarga-vartmani. Sat-saṅga means you have to take the knowledge and use it for practical purpose. That is sat-saṅga. So our this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is trying to give the sat-saṅga, opening centers all over the world.
