His Undefeatable General

Mahaprabhu says in Locananada Thakura's book, that His Undefeatable General will go even to the foreign lands to save the Indians who have gone there. - Sri Caitanya Mangala. In Krsna Book and Nectar of Devotion, the undefeatable general of the cowherds is described; Sriman BHADRASENA. I have been telling the devotees this for some years, but no one much has heard. Further, Srila Prabhupada's family are Nityananda bhaktas.

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada once remarked to his disciples, "You must become a general like me. I cannot be defeated."

SRILA PRABHUPADA: Still fight must go on. Fight cannot be stopped. So fight like brave soldiers, Kṛṣṇa will help you. Don't make any compromise . .....Devotee: The outcome of the battle is already decided. Just like in Bhagavad-gītā, we've already won. We just have to keep, keep fighting. Prabhupāda: They are now feeling the pressure of the opposite party. So fight is fight. When there is fight, my Guru Mahārāja used to

I hear God.

Gerhard Haas's photo.

I remember one time Prabhupada met with some reporters. Prabhupada was explaining that this movement is presenting the science of God, the absolute truth, the absolute knowledge, the highest knowledge to mankind, and this will save mankind.

They were asking, “Well, how do you know it’s the absolute truth? Are you telling us that you hear God speak and you know what God wants?”

Srila Prabhupada said, “Yes.”

Now, I was in this room thinking that these reporters are going to take this the wrong way because they’re not devotees to really understand that that’s Prabhupada’s position. So I said, “What Prabhupada means is that the message of God is coming down through parampara, this disciplic line, unbroken, and so when Prabhupada repeats it, that is the message of….”

Prabhupada interrupted and said, “No! That is not what I mean.”

The reporters said, “So, you are saying you directly see God and speak to God?”

Prabhupada said, “Yes.”

So apart from me being revealed as an utte

Durga Puja

Durga-Puja-in-Kolkata.jpg

Dussehra (Dassera) is one of the significant Hindu festivals, celebrated with much joy in the entire country.

The occasion marks the occassion of Lord Rama and brother Lakshman approaching Mother Durga to ask her for her blessings in His planned attack on the demon Ravana. It is therefore considered that the Supreme Personality of Godhead's approaching her for blessings to remove material impediments to His spiritual goals should be the approach of the humble devotee of the Lord to clinche the important triumph of Lord Rama over the demon king, Ravana, the victory of good over evil.

Secrets to success...

Swarup Hebel's photo.

"When a devotee is put into hellish conditions, he accepts them as Krishna's mercy: tat te 'nukampāḿ susamīkṣamāṇaḥ̣. He does not protest, 'Oh, I am such a great devotee of Krishna. Why have I been put into this misery?' Instead he thinks, 'This is Krishna's mercy.' Such an attitude is possible for a devotee who engages in the service of Krishna's representative. This is the secret of success."

Beatle drummer Ringo Starr, age 75, is on tour in North America this month with his All-Starr Band. He recently played in Victoria, Canada (October 8, 2015), spreading his now familiar message of "peace and love" along with "Hare Krishna." During his second song, "It Don't Come Easy," co-written with George Harrison and a big hit for Ringo in 1971, local concert goers confirm that Ringo enthusiastically shouted, "Hare Krishna" to his adoring audience. So wherever he goes on tour, Ringo is spreading the holy name of Krishna for the spiritual benefit of his many fans both young and old.

"One who chants the holy name of the Lord is immediately freed from the reactions of unlimited sins, even if he chants indirectly [to indicate something else], jokingly, for musical entertainment, or even neglectfully. This is accepted by all the learned scholars of the scriptures."

(Srimad-Bhagavatam, 6.2.14)

In a recent interview, Ringo was asked how he remains so vibrant and youthful at age 75, a

As we know to follow the instruction of SRILA PRABHUPADA means to chant the maha mantra hare krsna as much as we can at brahma muhurta time. by listening the SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM class daily in this way we are serving SRI SRI GURU GAURANGA  directly until we realize that everything is krsna and in the same time different from SRI KRSNA like the milk come from the cow but the milk is not the cow. we can become krsna conscious by meditating on the sublime vani seva of SRILA PRABHUPADA constantly. we can become blissful again beyond the factor time and the five seeds of sinful activities, because one through the same factor time become rich in knowledge coming in from yato bhaktir adhoksaje by hrisikena hrisikesa sevanam bhaktir ucyate. this is bhakti.

With the senses and mind purify completely free from desire niskama, although almost everyone start the bhakti yoga through the sakama stage like dhruva maharaj did, but at the end a such exalted and determina

This comment come from the sublime nectar on the vani seva of our guru maharaj and is to help the new comers of SRILA PRABHUPADA  spirit net,to become a krsna conscious person. the living entity must come to the paltform of acintya abheda bheda tattvam. that means that all the forms of life materially and spiritually are SRI KRSNA and in the same time, different from SRI KRSNA, Who said in the SRIMAD BHAGAVAD GITA that the matter and the spirit are within HIS supreme personality of godhead, almost everyone is trapped in the false images of the fake reflection which is making by contaminate substances, and unless one realized that this fake image is also SRI KRSNA, one can't become krsna conscious,  but keep on to take birth and die alone with a lot of troubles to overcome life after life. that's why our beloved acharya used to repeat very often how important is to become a living entity conscious of SRI KRSNA.

Of course the material nature with all h

Srila Prabhupad's Lecture

SRIMAD-BHAGAVATAM 1.7.51-52
[Vrndavana, October 8, 1976]

"Anyone Can Become Devotee"

Pradyumna: "Bhima, however, disagreed with them and recommended killing this culprit who, in an angry mood, had murdered sleeping children for no purpose and for neither his nor his master's interest.

Caturbhuja (the four-armed one), or the Personality of Godhead, after hearing the words of Bhima, Draupadi and others, saw the face of His dear friend Arjuna, and He began to speak as if smiling."

Prabhupada:

tatrahamarsito bhimas
tasya sreyan vadhah smrtah
na bhartur natmanas carthe
yo 'han suptan sisun vrtha

nisamya bhima-gaditam
draupadyas ca catur-bhujah
alokya vadanam sakhyur
idam aha hasann iva

So in the previous verse it is described, bhagavan devaki-suta. Bhagavan Krsna, Devaki-suta. Still, people may doubt that Krsna, being Devaki-suta, how He can become the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Because sometimes v

"Never think that the Holy Name is some ordinary sound.
The Supreme Lord has placed all his powers in the Holy Name. So we pray that we may engage in welfare work for all humanity, that all souls may make the effort to go to the transcendental abode of the Lord.

The nature of the borderline energy, the tatastha-sakti, is that it can go in either direction. However, the living beings who belong to this energy are constantly attacked by temptation. They see the “marketplace of pleasures” and are distracted from their purpose, ultimately falling into a hellish existence.

This is the illusory nature of this world, and everyone is immersed and entangled in this illusion. Try to understand this yourselves and try to make others understand. It is our duty to make this effort. Let everyone know this truth.
This is the meaning of Vyasa-puja".

 9468791863?profile=originalDear Prabhus,

I must ask for your help. I have a friend who has been an initiated devotee for quite some time, but in recent months, his faith has been failing. This is due to claims being made by some people in the scientific community about the likelihood of global extinction in the near future. The video he directed me to was from Dr. Guy McPherson. Please give it a watch: http://youtu.be/C8w5_t7r6lw

This is what my friend asks: “So- I am having a spiritual crisis with this.
How can we as spiritual beings instructed by Srila Prabhupada that we are not the body and that this world is not a place for a gentleman and that we have to perform devotional service and chant Hare Krishna to finally go back to Krishna Loka cope with sudden human extinction in the nearby future? It just seems to turn everything I learned into a myth... Is it not said that there will be another 320'000 years or so of Kali Yuga? Already S.B. prescribes the universe in a way I cannot understand. With the sun God

Associates of Śrī Caitanya – Part One
Six Features of Godhead

by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself. The associates of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya are constituents of Him. It is our object in this short paper to study the implications of these doctrines.

Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s active existence involves the undivided operation of the following six divine entities: (1) gurus, (2) devotees, (3) avartāras (divine descents), (4) divine manifestations, (5) divine powers and (6) Godhead Himself. All these are jointly and severally Divine.

As Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya is identical with Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the active existence of Śrī Caitanya also implies the cooperation of the above six divine categories.

When Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya was pleased to manifest His appearance on this mundane plane, His six constituents also necessarily made their appearance as part and parcel of Him. In the marvellous work Gaura-ganoddeśa-dīpikā, we find several revelations about characters who are

THIS IS CALLED PARAMPARA SYSTEM ....Srila Prabhupada December 10, 19769468750493?profile=original

That is Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s mission, not that perpetually… Yes, one should remain perpetually a student, but he has to act as guru. That is t...he mission of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. It is not that because I am acting as guru, I am no longer student. No, I am still student. Caitanya Mahāprabhu taught us this instruction that we shall always remain a foolish student before our Guru Mahārāja. That is the Vedic culture. I may be very big man, but still, I should remain a foolish student to my guru. That is the qualification. Guru more mūrkha dekhi’ karila śāśana. We should be always prepared to be controlled by the guru.

Sri Visvarupa Mahotsava

9468785489?profile=original

Today is a very sacred day in our line. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu took sannyasa and began to search for his brother Visvarupa. While searching, on this day He found out that he was in Pandarapur, and that he had left his body. He had taken samadhi on the bank of the river Bhima. Then, on this day, though Mahaprabhu was observing Caturmasya-vrata very strictly for four months, He shaved his hair. Before this year, He never shaved for these four months, nor did He cut his nails. He observed all the rules and regulations of Caturmasya.

It is said that Sankararanya was the sannyasa name of Srila Visvarupa, who was the elder brother of Visvambhara (the original name of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu). Sankararanya expired in 1432 Sakabda (A.D. 1510) at Sholapur, where there is a place of pilgrimage known as Pandarapura. This is referred to in the Madhya-lila, Chapter Nine, verses 299 and 300.

Acceptance of sannyasa by Srila Prabhupada

9468724679?profile=original

“One night, Abhay had an unusual dream. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta appeared before him, beckoning. He was asking Abhay to leave home and take sannyasa. Abhay awoke in an intensely emotional state, “How horrible!” He thought. He knew it was not an ordinary dream, yet the request seemed so difficult and unlikely. Take sannyasa! At least it was not something he could do immediately. Now he had to improve the business, and with the profits he would print books. He went on with his duties, but remained shaken by the dream.” (Satwarup Goswami. 1980. Prabhupada Lilamrta. Page 118.)

In 1948, Abhay closed his Lucknow factory. He had fallen behind in employees’ salaries, and since 1946 he had been paying past rent in installments. But when sales dropped off, continuing the factory became impossible. He lost everything.

Srila Prabhupada: I started a big factory in Lucknow. Those were golden days. My business flourished like anything. Everything in the chemical business knew. But then, gradually, everyth

"For an intelligent disciple, what his spiritual master provides is sufficient."

Yadubara: I was with Prabhupada in 1973 when George Harrison visited him in his room at Bhaktivedanta Manor. George had recorded a song called "Krishna, Where Are You?" that he played for Prabhupada. It had a very nice melody and words. Prabhupada appreciated it.

He said, "Yes. Searching for Krishna is the proper mood." As he heard the song he sat back and tapped his leg in time. He and George had a very nice relationship. They often would tell stories and laugh together in Prabhupada's room.

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura Appearance

Bhaktivinoda_15.jpg

Sri Sacidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura appeared in 1838 in a wealthy family in the Nadia district, West Bengal. He revealed that he is an eternal associate of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu by his extraordinary preaching activities and prolific writing. Living as a, mahabhagavata Vaisnava, he stayed in the grhasta ashram until the last few years of his life. Then he renounced everything, accepted babaji, and entered samadhi, totally absorbed in the loving service of Gaura-Gadadhara and Radha-Madhava.

"He had a responsible government position as the District Magistrate (high court judge), maintained a Krishna conscious family, and wrote almost one hundred books on Krishna consciousness. At the same time, he served the Supreme Lord in so many ways. That is the beauty of his life. After a full day of government service he would sleep four hours, get up at midnight and write until morning. That was his daily program." (Srila Prabhupada)

Thakura Bhaktivinoda took Vaisnava diksa from Sri Vipinvihari G
