Simply (5)

1. Tdasa ;  We consider ourselves simply the modern followers of HDG A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, as he taught and set the perfect examples. There is no such thing as "ritvik philosophy", per se,  as we are simply following Prabhupada's philosophy.

Srila Prabhupada said;
"Simply work cooperatively for spreading this movement all over the world. The standards I have already given you, now try to maintain them at all times under standard procedure. Do not try to innovate or create anything or manufacture anything, that will ruin everything. Simply do as I am doing and be always serious and sincere to serve Krsna, and He will give you intelligence how to do everything."
Letter to Bali Mardan & Pusta Krsna, September18, 1972

Srila Prabhupada ;

" From now on unless I order you do something change or in addition, go on with the usual standard way. "

 "Kṛṣṇa consciousness does not meant to be one-sided. Kṛṣṇa is all-pervading, the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement also should be all-perv

Real bhakti… that is raganuga-bhakti. This raganuga-bhakti, we have to come after surpassing the vaidhi-bhakti [regulative process]. In the material world, if we do not try to make further and further progress in devotional service, if we are simply sticking to the shastric [scriptural] regulation process and do not try to go beyond that...
The shastric process is kanishtha-adhikara, lowest stage of devotional service… This is nice beginning, but one has to go above this… If I become satisfied only with these regulative principles for worshiping… but if I have no other idea, then sa bhaktah prakrtah smrtah. Prakrta means on the material platform.
…So any devotee can fall down if he remains prakrta-bhakta. So he has to raise himself above this in the madhyama-adhikara [intermediate stage]…
Therefore, if we do not associate with the advanced devotees, uttama-adhikari, if we simply want to remain in the lowest stage of devotional service, then we are not making progress. Then we shall si

The holy name, character, pastimes and activities of Krishna are all transcendentally sweet like sugar candy. Although the tongue of one affiicted by the jaundice of avidya [ignorance] cannot taste anything sweet, it is wonderful that simply by carefully chanting these sweet names every day, a natural relish awakens within his tongue, and his disease is gradually destroyed at the root." 'The appreciation of His Divine Grace if one simply follows His instructions. <3 I am very pleased that you have gone to that place simply on my order, alone, to preach the message of Lord Caitanya. I like this kind of spirit in you very much. You know I went to your country also alone, in old age, because of the order given to me by my spiritual master. So I get great pleasure when I see my own disciples from America going to far off places leaving their rich nation with all facilities and their families, to preach. The secret of success in spiritual life is to satisfy one's spiritual master. This is the essence. You have captured this. So now go on in this way and do not falter. Follow the regulative principles and devotional practices I have given you. This will keep you fit. Be patient and determined, and ask everyone you meet to please chant Hare Krsna. “Austerity does not simply mean abstention from worldly pleasure. One who is pure-hearted and kind to all living entities is actually a great sage, even though he may be situated in household life. One who performs austerities with an impure heart receives only bodily pains as a result, for his endeavors can never free him from sinful reactions. It is purity of heart and godliness that cause austerities to become effective. The acts, in and of themselves, such as taking sannyasa, fasting, etc. cannot give any good result.”

From Prabhupad.
