It is important to listen the maha mantra hare krsna properly at brahma muhurta time, to not let all this rubbish to come in our safe clean krsna consciousness aura, which can open the channels of spiritual energy when is rightly situated in the costant service to the lotus feet of SRILA PRABHUPADA.

Because only a saktya avesha avatara has the power to rescue us, not bcs or gkg , anyway things will improve for everyone through the factor of time, when is properly engaged in the seva of SRILA PRABHUPADA. All the misunderstanding  take place due to impurity but the vani seva of SRILA PRABHUPADA is so strong that anyone can get a very fast purification only by remembering HIS vani seva.  In this way we should do more spiritual progress by keeping using the factor time in the service,

Of course it require a lot of patience, determination, and enthusiasm, says SRILA RUPA GOSVAMI in the upadesamrta. But a lava matra(moment)  in suddha nama is enough to deliver even the most degraded and depr

Q. Your Grace, how does one attain Krsna consciousness?

Srila Prabhupada: There are several stages in attainment of Krsna consciousness. The first stage is faith, or inquisitiveness just as you have come to me now, this is the first stage. Due to some inquisitiveness or some faith in the people who are teaching Krsna consciousness, who have said that it is very helpful, one comes to the first stage. One should be inquisitive and have a little faith, or a little respect for Krsna consciousness: "It is very nice. They are speaking and working." This is the first stage.

If you find that Krsna consciousness is interesting, then the second stage is to associate with us, to understand more. We have class in the morning daily, but for the public, we are holding classes in the evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at our temple, discussing this book, holding kirtana, distributing prasadam. There is no labor you simply come and hear songs, dance, take offered food, hear philosophy and think, and then yo

Without Precedence?

Herein Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura establishes the ritvik process for us all. His Guru Maharajah Srila Gaura Kishora dasa babaji had already passed on some years before this occurred ,as follows;

"When he gave himself  'tridandi sannyasa' (or more correctly, had taken 'sannyasa' from a picture of Gaura Kishora dasa Babaji Maharaj), this was a shock to even his supporters, including disciples of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura."

- excerpt from Gaudiya Histories

write to vaishnavasevadasa@gmail.com

So, to those envious GBCists  who try to say that Srila Prabhupada cannot accept disciples now that he is "dead and gone", we say a Vaisnava never dies. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarswati, the lion guru, established this 100% by taking sannyasa by ritvik process. It is unbelievable that some say there is no precedence, when our own grandfather spiritual master set the perfect example for us all.

WHO’S WHO OF GAURA LILA IN KRISHNA LILA
The associates of Their Lordships Sri Sri Gaura Nitai are the same spiritual identities in the eternal pastimes of Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha and Krishna.

Srila Narottama Dasa Thakura describes the full glories of the associates of Their Lordships Sri Sri Gaur Nitai in his book Prarthana in the song "Savarana Sri Gaura Mahima" (The Glories of Sri Gauranga):

gaurangera sangi-gane, nitya-siddha kari’ mane,
se yaya vrajendra-suta pasa
sri-gauda-mandala-bhumi, yeba jane cintamani
tara haya vraja-bhume vasa

One who accepts the associates of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu as nitya-siddhas is certain to be elevated to the spiritual kingdom to become an associate of the Supreme Lord. One should also know that Gauda-mandala-bhumi—those places in Bengal where Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu stayed—are equal to Vrajabhumi, or Vrndavana. There is no difference between the inhabitants of Vrndavana and those of Gauda-mandala-bhumi, or Sridhama Mayapur

Today is the most auspicious Bhismastami, the eighth day of the waxing moon in the month of Magha, when Bhismadeva, a pure devotee of Krishna, the great grandfather of the Pandavas, an undefeated military general, a life-long celibate and one with the ability to choose the moment of leaving his body, was born. He is most famous for his fierce vow of celibacy and his teachings of dharma to Maharaja Yudhisthira, at the conclusion of which he declared that to recite the glories of Lord Visnu was the topmost of all religious duties. He equalled the invincible Parasurama in battle and thus pleased him.

Duryodhana, in the confidence of Bhismadeva's presence in his army during the legendary war of Mahabharata, says in the Bhagavad-gita:

aparyaptam tad asmakam balam bhismabhiraksitam
paryaptam tv idam etesam balam bhimabhiraksitam

"Our strength is immeasurable as it is protected by the unconquerable Bhisma, while the Panadvas' strength is limited, as it is protected by a lesser general as Bhima."

Kumbha Mela, the world’s largest gathering—religious or otherwise—is now in progress at Tirtharaja Prayaga where is it observed every twelve years. However, there are other Kumbha Melas that are organized at three other major tirtha-bhumis. The Puranas describe when and where these are held according planetary movements as Abhaya Mudra Dasi explains in detail ...

Devotees of ISKCON join the throng of pilgrims to perform puja to the Triveni during Kumbha Mela

As described in the 8th canto of Shrimad Bhagavatam, long, long ago at the beginning of creation the demigods and demons cajoled the king of snakes Vasuki to act as their rope in order to churn the Ocean of Milk. With the object in mind of extracting the nectar of immortality from the ocean, they set about churning. As all devotees know, once the nectar manifested Lord Vishnu appeared and personally supervised the task of distribution to insure

Oh mind! Please remember the lotus feet of Sri Advaita Acarya which are decorated with the following auspicious markings:

A conch-shell, a triangle, a cow hoof and a fish are on the left foot and a barleycorn, a rope, a disc and an upper line are on the right foot.

At the root of the toe of the right lotus foot of Bhagavan Sri Advaita Acarya are the imprints of a barleycorn which is the embodiment of opulence for the sustenance and maintenance of the devotees. Below that is a chakra which smashes the mountainous sins of the devotees. Then there is an upper line which begins from the root of the big toe and fore toe and a rope starting from the root of the little toe with the fourth, binding the innermost chambers of the devotees hearts.

Please remember the left lotus foot of Sri Advaita Acarya which is decorated with the following auspicious markings:

The Glories of Advaita Acarya 1

Chapter 6:
The Glories of Śrī Advaita Ācārya
The truth of Advaita Ācārya has been described in two verses. It is said that material nature has two features, namely the material cause and the efficient cause. The efficient causal activities are caused by Mahā-Viṣṇu, and the material causal activities are caused by another form of Mahā-Viṣṇu, known as Advaita. That Advaita, the superintendent of the cosmic manifestation, has descended in the form of Advaita Ācārya to associate with Lord Caitanya. When He is addressed as the servitor of Lord Caitanya, His glories are magnified because unless one is invigorated by this mentality of servitorship one cannot understand the mellows derived from devotional service to the Supreme Lord, Kṛṣṇa.

SRILA PRABHUPADA’S LECTURE ON ADVAITA ACARYA

Srila Prabhupada:

advaitam harinadvaitad
acaryam bhakti-samsanat
bhaktavataram isam tam
advaitacaryam asraye

So gradually the author is offering respect, sri-krsna-caitanya prabhu-nityananda sri-advaita. He has already offered respect to Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda. Now it is the turn for Sri Advaitacarya. So advaitam, nondifferent, expansion of Mahavisnu. Therefore He is Visnu-tattva. He is not jiva-tattva. Therefore, he is Advaita.

Advaita acyuta anadi ananta-rupam. Krsna has got unlimited number of expansions, expansion, expansion of the expansion, then expansion of the expansion, in this way. So Advaitacarya is expansion of Krsna, it is already explained. Therefore He is called advaitam, and acaryam bhakti-samsanat. This is the business of acarya, to spread bhakti cult. Acaryam mam vijaniyat navamanyeta karhicit. It is said by the Lord that “You should accept the acarya…” Acarya means one who transmits bhakti cult. Bhakti-samsanat,

Three Energies of God

"Paramahamsas, devotees who have accepted the essence of life, are attached to Krishna in the core of their hearts, and He is the aim of their lives. It is their nature to talk only of Krishna at every moment, as if such topics were newer and newer."

(Srimad Bhagavatam 10.13.2)

Krsna conscious philosophy and the details of tattva vicara, ie the revealed scriptural truths, are as deep as one cares to dive into that unlimited ocean. A new devotee may not relish these things as much, but as one advances  the details become astounding,  clarifying, and enlivening nectar.   To see the depth of thought and revelation on these topics is faith increasing.

HDG Srila Gour Govinda Swami sometimes entered into these topics, as his knowledge of scripture was second to none except Srila Prabhupada himself, and he acted as a guide shining the flashlight of his insight on the teachings of Srila Prabhupada,  revealing details and connections during his life as a great mystic saint of our disciplic s

The Curse of Kadru

BY: SUN STAFF, god help us.

Feb 11, 2013 — CANADA (SUN) — Kadru, the daughter of Daksha and the wife of Kashyapa, is described in the Vedas as being the ancestral mother of the Nagas (snakes). In the Varaha Purana, the sage Mahatapa explains that the line of the Nagas originated with Kadru, with along with Kashyapa had numerous progeny, most notably Vasuki, Anant, Kambal, Karkotak, Padma, Mahapadma, Shankh, and Kulik, among others. When the Nagas began tormenting the human beings, Lord Brahma cursed them with annihilation during the Swayambhuva manvantar, due to the curse of their own mother, Kadru.

The serpents became terrified and promised to remediate their offensive activities. Begging Lord Brahma to give them a place to live in, he instructed them to go to three different netherworlds: Sutal, Vital and Patal. He also warned them that during Vaivaswat manvantar, Janamejaya would perform a grand yagya with the objective of destroying all of the demoniac among t

Vaisnava aparädha – the most dangerous anartha

Among the four types of anarthas, nama aparädha is the most serious stumbling block for all Vaisnavas. Nama aparädha includes Vaisnava aparädha which is the single most devastating of all anarthas and aparädhas. Without a crystal clear understanding and resolution of this issue, one's progress may be severely impacted even for many lifetimes, what to speak of within this life.

Unfortunately, Vaisnava aparädha is a malicious epidemic that is rampant throughout the contemporary worldwide Vaisnava community, as witnessed by the over abundance of blasphemous statements found online on numerous websites. The seriousness of these offenses cannot be over stated. Most Gaudiya Vaisnavas understand the potentially damaging effects of Vaisnava aparädha through Lord Caitanya's description of the offense labeled, "mad elephant", which runs wild through one's devotional garden, obliterating the creeper of devotion.

The Fourth Dimension

Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami

Excerpt from a lecture on Cc. Ādi 5.84-86 given by

Śrī Śrīmad Gour Govinda Swami on 14 September 1989, Bhubaneswar, India.

We are conditioned souls, we can only understand or we can only conceive such a thing that has three dimensions; length, breadth and height. We cannot conceive a vastu or thing that has four dimensions. This is very deep philosophy. Not an easy thing. We cannot conceive of such a thing that has four dimensions. How can we conceive? The Supreme Lord is in that sphere where there are four dimensions, so how can we conceive with our materially conditioned senses? We cannot conceive at all. A parabolic curve, or we may say two parallel lines cannot meet, generally speaking, but in that fourth dimension they meet. However, we cannot understand it, we cannot conceive of it because in our conditional state our knowledge is defective. There are four defects in the conditio

The Vision We Should Develop When Guru Leaves

by TVP BOOKS

0062-copy

Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami

 Darshana, France 18 July 1986

Devotee: What happens when. . . .

Gour Govinda Swami: His instructions are there, vapu rūpavāṇī rūpaGuru means pure devotee, Vaiṣṇava. Guru means very, very intimate associate of Lord Krishna. He isguru, spiritual master. When he is physically present, that is his presence is here, but inaprakata līlā when he disappears, at that time one should not think that guru is not there. He is always there. Krishna is always there. If you have eye you can see Krishna,

I have already spoken. If you have that bhakti-cakṣu, eye of devotion, and you have developed kṛṣṇa-prema, then you can see Krishna everywhere, yāṅhā yāṅhā netra pade tāṅhā kṛṣṇa sphure.  You look and see Krishna. How could Prahlad Maharaja see Krishn
