Those Who Should Not Live in the Maṭha
by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

Question 1: Who should be staying in the maṭha (monastery)?
Answer: There is no necessity for those who are interested in physical yogic exercises to stay in our maṭhas, nor is there any necessity for those who conceive of themselves as dignified officers. Only bhaktas ought to stay in the maṭha.
If all those who are only interested in eating and in sensual pleasure, but who have taken shelter of the facility of the maṭha, were asked to leave, one after the other, it would reduce the expenses for the maṭha and minimize other worldly troubles.
All those who do not follow the principles and ideals of the maṭha, who lack humility, and who are not inclined to follow the path of bhakti under the guidance of śrī guru, should be sent home in all their pride and insubordination. Even if this reduced the numbers of our ranks, it would still be good. Whoever does not engage in hari bhajana and instead s

All glories to A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada , our eternal Gurudeva!
It is nice to hear that everything is working nicely inside the SRILA PRABHUPADA SPIRIT-NET website, and outside the net as well, hearing of the wholesome service activites of our site members. Everyone has their own journey to look after, i mean, we are not here forever !
Actually we are making the next body and destination by keeping on steadily and nicely with the chanting and alwys serving SRILA PRABHUPADA. What we do now determines our next life and activities.
Of course, enthusiasm must be there. Used to say, our param guru SRILA RUPA GOSVAMI, determination and patience are needed. To be sure to get a better destination in krsna consciousness in our next lives. Our treasure is the time we have got left in Sri Krsnas service. By increasing the quality of the daily brahma muhurta sadhana bhakti, avyartha kalatvam, says SRILA RUPA GOSVAMI, we increase and improve our
adhu-vritti: Following in the Footsteps of the Previous Acaryas
BY: SUN STAFF

Jan 27, 2013 — CANADA (SUN) — From 'Sri Bhaktyaloka' by HDG Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur.
I have already written separate essays regarding utsaha, niscaya, dhairya, tat-tat-karma-pravartana, and sanga-tyaga. Now I am writing this essay on sadhu-vritti. There are two kinds of sadhus - householders and renunciates. I will separately describe the vritti, or occupation, of each. Although householders and renunciates have different occupations, there are some they have in common. These will be discussed separately. There are two meanings of the word occupation-propensity and lifestyle. Propensity means one's nature, or svabhava.
Those natural propensities are the living entity's dharma . It is said in the Srimad Bhagavatam (7.11.31):
veda-drigbhih smrito rajan pretya ceha ca sarma-krit
"My dear King, brahmanas well conversant in Vedic knowledge have given their
Discussion includes; Offenses, nama aparadha, nama abhasa, shuddha nama: what they are, what they do, what is the result.
Three general stages of advancement are found among the chanters of Hare Krsna mantra. These are 1 Nama aparadha, 2 nama abhasa, and 3 shuddha nama. ie offensive stage, clearing stage, and pure stage.
The holy Names reward varying results, dependent upon the motivation, and thus the chanter is restricted or awarded due to proper understanding and motivation, or not, of the chanter. Due to ill-conceived notions and duplicity in spiritual undertakings, the chanter may be chanting for reasons not in his or her real best interests. For example, a person thinking the Name to be equal to pious activities or sacrifice desires material rewards, such as heaven or wealth etc., and is rewarded same, which is actually a punishment for offenses committed. Material gains further entangle the self and deviate it from its true best interests, which are not in the realm of tem
All glories to the Sri Krsna sankirtana, the singing and chanting of the Names of Krsna, which cleanses the heart of all things impure, and lets the white lotus of good fortune grow and shine in the heart of the participants!
( Sri Siksastakam of Lord Caitanya, verse 1)
Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu preached widely and practically demonstrated to all the power of the process of sankirtana, proving that the Lord Himself Is His holy Names.
If someone somehow says Hare Krsna!, in the mind, or aloud, and even concentrates the mind upon that, then she or he will absorb Love-nectar and soon become drunk with spiritual pleasure! They will start to recognize Krsna in all things around them, and in the end, will return to eternal blissful self-fulfilling Goloka, the para vyoma, or spiritual sky.
The world is astonished to see this! Never before has such perfect mercy been seen, such a perfect avatara of All-Loving Godhead Sri Krsna as our Lords Caitanya and Nityananda

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I am absolutely not trying to establish that Srila Prabhupada left diksa gurus. That is an ISKCON lie. I am just pointing out that both ISKCON and the ritviks are lying when it comes to the guru issue which puts both sides into a compromised position and makes both sides of the argument useless.
This ISKCON lie that Prabhupada appointed diksa gurus is well and truly debunked and not even ISKCON would dare to claim that Prabhupada appointed any diksa gurus now. ISKCON openly admit that Prabhupada never appointed any diksa gurus. Tamal Krishna Goswami confirms that Prabhupada only ever appointed ritviks to initiate disciples on his behalf, that he never at any point of time appointed any diksa gurus:

I took the book home and started to read it but I stopped because I thought it was too philosophical. A few months later I couldn't sleep and I started staring at the picture of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna on the cover of the Krsna Book. After about twenty minutes of staring, wondering why Krsna was blue, not even knowing that Krsna is God, all of the sudden Krsna came to life to me flashing His effulgence and smiling. That got me very excited! So I started reading the book and read about a
To establish dharma, save pious people from the clutches of demons / ill minded people, Sriman Narayana manifested into several avatars and Sri Narasimha Avatar is one among them; most of us knew that Narasimha had killed Hiranyakasyapu, the demon king and blessed Prahlada his great devotee; due to His furious nature as Narasimha, no one could control his anger, Brahma and other mini gods were afraid of his rage.
Brahma, accompanied by other mini gods, approached Siva and described the Narasimha Avatar. Siva took it lightly and said this is a tiny issue and he can sort it out with ease in no time; he instructed Vinayaka to subdue Narasimha; when Vinayaka approached Narasimha, Narasimha severely warned and drove him away; Nandi, Aghora Veerabhadra were sent to subdue Narasimha, one after the other, after Vinayaka failed in his attempts, Nandi, Aghora Veerabhadra were severely attacked by Narasimha and they reported severity of their experience to Siva; ego and arrogance entered Siva’s mi

by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

Question 1: What is the meaning of the word namaḥ in our mantras?
Answer: The word namaḥ means to renounce one’s pride, or independence, and bow down in heartfelt surrender. “O Gurudeva! O Kṛṣṇa! From today, I am Your servant and You are my only shelter. Please be merciful to me and guide me; engage me in Your service. From today onward I have renounced my pride and my ahaṅkāra – my false, egoistic conception that I am the active agent. My only prayer is that from now on Your instructions, and Your advice and direction be my only focus – the Pole Star and governing element of my life.”
‘Namaskāra’ means to renounce all material ego, all pride in our delusion that ‘I am the active agent’, ‘I am the enjoyer’, ‘I am the seer’, ‘I am the maintainer’. When the corruption of our intelligence – the misconception that ‘I am the active agent’ – is finally removed by the mercy of Śrīla Gurudeva, then alone do we attain true dīkṣā, or

So we are worshiping Krsna. His simple business is, as we have described, Radha-Madhava, He is lover of Srimati Radharani. Krsna means lover. This very word Krsna means "all-attractive." You can attract by your love, not by anything else. Therefore His name is Krsna. I have read one book, Aquarian Gospel, among the Christians. In that book it is said that the word Christ has come from the word Christo, Christo, it is a Greek word, and the meaning of Christo is "lover, anointed." So I think the word Christ is apabhramsa of Christo, and Christo... In India still, if one's name is Krsna, we call him Kristo, or sometimes Kesto. My younger brother, his name was Krsna. So in family we were calling him "Kesto." That is very current. So actually love, the word love, has come from Krsna. That is a fact. The

Prabhupāda: That's all right. They will go on experimenting life after life. That is their foolishness.
Gurukṛpā: Next life they may have to experiment in a dog's body.
Prabhupāda: Yes. And some of our politicians, he has become a dog. Yes. Nehru. He has become a dog, in Stockholm. Yes.
Gopāla Kṛṣṇa: I told that to my mother and she would not believe it. You know, people think that if someone is a great politician or something, he can never become something like this.
Prabhupāda: Then why the politician dies? If he has got so good brain, let him live forever.
Gopāla Kṛṣṇa: People have so much blind faith in people like Nehru and Gandhi.
Prabhupāda: Jawaharlal Nehru did not want to give up his Prime Ministership unless he was collapsed. So why he did not live if he is so intelligent? And Kṛṣṇa says, if you have to believe Bhagavad-gītā, tathā dehāntara-prāptiḥ [Bg. 2.13]. "He has to accept another body." So why you should disbelieve th
