Back in the authorized days, Kishori Kishora and Radha Gopinatha used to eat like kings!! Nowadays, it seems canola is used, aluminum pots, its just not anywhere near as opulent, not by a long stretch. Do you think they are misundertsanding the philosophy of Deity worship? My understanding is that if the Deities are pleased, the whole temple becomes opulent.

Do you have any comments re Sivarama Swami, who basically took the Winnipeg temple and moved it to the USA, leaving us without a temple now for the last twenty-five years? Was this Satsvarupa's idea, zonal manager at the time, or Sivarama's, president for a short while there? What is the story of the Winnipeg devotee's ventures after leaving Manitoba? 20. Can we make disciples? (page 9)

We should not make disciples until we have become liberated or a pure devotee. You must first take shelter of a bona fide guru, become a disciple and listen to the topics of Krishna from his mouth. Then you have to put everything you have heard into practice and repeat it to others with humility. 

After doing this for some time, you must become guru yourself. You should not intentionally remain a "lightweight" for the rest of your days. This is a kind of self-deception. To become guru means to become a genuine devotee, engaging all of your senses in the service of Krishna, at every moment.

This does not mean that you absolutely have to make disciples. Even so, if it is God's will, some pure devotees teach Krishna consciousness for the benefit of others. They have no ulteri

So think carefuly on this; are you chanting the pure Names? Have you become deathless and seen Krishna, have you all mystic powers in full, and remembrance of past lives and insite into future events accurately ?  No ?? Then you are a cheat and have been cheated also !

Then you have been found unworthy. You have not done enough, or any, pure devotional service !

Think on that, your Beloveds have rejected you, as you are insincere and impure, unworthy.

You have chanted shamefacedly for years and not once uttered Suddha Nama, the Pure Name.  What kind of yogi are you? You are not a devotee, just a want-to-be, a neophyte. But you have given it your all for your whole lifetime!

You have been placed on the doorstep outside the kirtana hall and not allowed in to Mahaprabhu's kirtana, you are not pure or worthy.

Krishna and Balarama find you a scary demon, they have sent you here far away, where they don't have to see your envy-smeared shrunken face. You have been kicked out of your Home and

Five Habits for a Brahmachari

First one  should be a brahmacäré — accept a guru, stay in the guru’s ashram, and strictly follow the principles of brahmacarya. He should be trained how to control the mind and senses. If you open your heart, you will feel the sweetness of love in seperation from the spiritual master by listening to George's production below.  >;  )   Love of Srila Prabhupada is love of Godhead, also, same.  "guru krsna prasade  bhakti lata bija..." ie  By grace of God one gets Guru, and by grace of Guru one gets God. Same, different aspects or phases, or as we call it, "pastimes". These pastimes epitomize certain tastes or flavors or rasas, and generation /realization of pure rasa is the meaning of bhakti-yoga perfection.
