Krsna is told to be the sarva karana karanam, the cause of all causes. Lord Brahma says "Govinda, adi purusam" ie that Govinda is the first Person.
So, if you think that Krsna has a fault, try to grasp that He is perfect in intelligence, and has more experience than all the rest of us. His actions etc are always the best for all. So, if you think you see a fault in Krsna's behavior, then you should know it for a fact, that the fault is in your own lack of insight, your mis-visioning.

SP; Tṛṇād api sunīcena does not mean that if a Vaiṣṇava is insulted or Viṣṇu is defamed, you remain silent, "I am tṛṇād api sunīcena." No. At that time you should become fire. That is the teaching of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Just like Hanumānjī, he's Vaiṣṇava. But when there was need for the service of Lord Rāmacandra, he set fire in the Lanka. So when there is viṣṇu-vaiṣṇava-ninda,defamation, you should not remain tṛṇād api sunīcena. You should take steps. This is the instruction.

Anyway, Vaiṣṇava is never angry, but that does not mean that you tolerate insult to Viṣṇu and Vaiṣṇava. No. He should be angry. Bhakta-dveṣi. Just like our student Govinda dāsī in Hawaii. In a meeting she became very angry when the so-called incarnation of God and God... Perhaps you know this incident. And the people did not say, of course, Govinda dāsī, but they heard her husband, Gaurasundara. But she became very angry, that "These rascals," and so many things she spoke. (chuckles) So she did right, like a

The daily reality exists on near-infinite levels. A simple tuning of the brain chemistry, for example, can cause a rebirth and entrance into other worlds, right here. One man, for another example, sees hell on Earth, another thinks it is heaven. For them, that is reality. The world is far bigger than we have the capacity to imagine or fully realize. But Godhead knows all of them.

The sexiness that you feel; that has it's pure origin in Radha Krsna. The vast reaches of space, the near-infinite grandeur and beauty; that is all emanating from the soul of Krsna. Everything you see is in Him, it is His character. Among heroic warriors, Krsna is the best of warriors, undefeatable unless He allows, the source of all skill. His music melts stones and 'freezes' moving entities !
Whatever it is you love most, it has its superlative perfect and original version in the Form of Krsna, and so He is called the All Attractive One, Krsna. Seeing Him, all these wonders can be understood to be but emanations from Him.

Who should preach?

Who should preach?

I have discussed what preaching is. Now the question is who should preach? Is preaching a restricted activity for some and not for other? In the first quote Srila Prabhupada said “every member”¦should preach”. Whoever is a member of the Krishna consciousness movement should see to it that they are engaged in some preaching activity. One may say “I am not yet a member.” Srila Prabhupada replies;
“Actually a devotee of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu must engage in preaching”¦” (Cc M 7.153),
“”¦one who knows the conclusion of the sastras”¦ endeavours to preach.” (Cc M 25.276),
“Because the brahmana is the head (of society), he has to preach”¦not”¦that the brahmana should simply eat on behalf of the Lord and not preach”¦” (NOD Ch.2)
“That is the mission of all genuine devotees of the Lord”¦to enlighten the miserable.” (Bhag 1.6.38)
“It is the duty of enlightened souls to deliver the fallen ones”¦” Bhag 1.13.14

Damodara Masa

649-idol-of-yashoda-damodar-at-krishna-balarama-mandir-in-vrindavan.jpg

The month of Damodara. Throughout this month, devotees commemorate the pastime of naughty Lord Krsna’s being bound with ropes by mother Yasoda. Devotees offer lamps daily.

Kartik is the holiest month in the Hindu lunar calendar. It usually overlaps with the months October & November in the English calendar. Kartik Maas, also known as Damodar Maas, is described in the scriptures as the best among months for performing austerities.

Lord Shri Krishna says, “Of all plants, the sacred Tulasi is most dear to Me; of all months, Kartik is most dear, of all places of pilgrimage, My beloved Dwarka is most dear, and of all days,Ekadashi is most dear.” (Padma Purana, Uttara Khand 112.3)

Kartik or the festival of offering lamps to Lord Krishna, glorifies Lord Krishna’s pastime of being bound with ropes by Mother Yashoda. Observing vrata in the month of Kartik is glorified in the Puranas.

“As Sat-yuga is the best of yugas (ages), as the Vedas are the best among scriptures, as Ganga is best of rivers, so

Fourth Month of Caturmasya Begins

Lakshmi-narayan-1.jpgFourth month: No Ural Dal.

Caturmasya stands for ‘four months’. It is the period between sayana and uttana ekadasis. The scriptures refer to this period as the duration of Lord Visnu’s sleep in this universe.

The main goal of observing Caturmasya is to decrease attachment to material things and to increase devotion to Krishna.
Srila Prabhupada writes in Caitanya Caritamrta, “Caturmasya should be observed by all sections of the population. It does not matter whether one is a grihasta or a sanyasi. The observation is obligatory to all ashramas.” He further explains how to observe the vow:  “This is not very difficult. In the month of Sravana one should not eat spinach (green leafy vegetables of the nature), in the month of Bhadra one should not eat yogurt (yogurt used as binding agent for cake is allowed), and in the month of Asvina one should not drink milk (milk sweets, milk by-products are fine). One should not eat fish or other non-vegetarian food during the month of Kartik. Masura dal

SHARING A POST FROM DHIRA GOVINDA DAS:
October 2, 2017

There is a signed letter from Dr. Steven Morris, dated Nov. 23, 2015, where he attests that he conducted tests on samples of Srila Prabhupada’s hair. The three samples from 1977 indicate cadmium levels approximately 250 times above normal. The 3 tests of Srila Prabhupada’s hair samples from earlier years indicate cadmium levels at the average, normal level. None of these hair samples ever went through the hands of Nityananda dasa. They went straight from GBC representatives to Dr. Morris. Dr. Morris is a world renowned leader in the field of forensic toxicology, neutron activation analysis…

Forensic experts have expressed that there is no rational accidental or environmental cause for this level of cadmium in the samples of Srila Prabhupada’s hair. By far the most reasonable explanation is that someone, or more than one person, deliberately, with homicidal intent, gave cadmium to Srila Prabhupada. Forensic toxicolog

Benefits of offering a lamp during Kartik.

The Pastimes of Lord Damodara.

Just as there is no yuga equal to Satya-yuga, no scripture equal to the Vedas, and no place of pilgrimage equal to the Ganges, so there is no month equal to Kartika. Even unserious persons who execute devotional service according to the regulative principles during the month of Karttika, and within the jurisdiction of Mathura (or Vrindavana) in India, are very easily awarded the Lord's personal service". During the Kartika month millions of devotees worship Damodara Krishna with ghee lamps and devotional bhajans, glorifying His playful childhood pastime of stealing yogurt.

GLORIES OF KARTHIKA MONTH FROM DIFFERENT TEXTS (DAMODHARA MONTH):

"When one offers a lamp during the month of Karttika, his sins in many thousands and millions of births perish in half an eye blink."

"Please hear the glories of offering a lamp during pleasing to Lord Kesava. O King of brahmanas, a person who offers a lamp in th

INSTITUTIONAL OBSTRUCTION IN POISON INVESTIGATION
(by Nityananda das)
On September 23, 2017 I met with GBC former chairman and member Bir Krishna Maharaja, one of ISKCON’s initiating gurus for Fiji, and someone I have known pretty well for forty some years. He was visiting Savusavu and had just accepted 16 new disciples on the other island. We spoke about the “poison issue” for a half hour, and reflecting afterwards, I was once again deeply affected by how the ISKCON leadership’s institutional obstruction of the truth about Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning was still very much operative. I had hoped for something different, but behind the façade of friendliness and fair-handedness, there was the same denial and obstruction mentality as twenty years earlier. I left disappointed and angry, reminded that there is no hope of any proper, just, or honest action from ISKCON’s leadership. I found no independent thinking and honesty about this most crucial of all issues even in such a prominent inst

Prabhupāda: We are searching after a lover. That day the boys were singing, what is that singing? You said?

Devotee: Yes. "You better find somebody to love."
9468800867?profile=original

Prabhupāda: Jaya. Better find out somebody to love.* That is the problem. That is the problem of this life. Everyone is there... Now, after disappointment they say that "I had tried to find out somebody, girl or boy, to love, but I was, I mean to say, frustrated, disappointed. Now I find the dog is the best friend." Yes. Actually, they say like that. "We find the dog is the best friend." Is it not? Yes. Why? Everyone is searching after to love somebody. That's a fact. Because we are lover. Our constitutional position is lover.

Prahlāda Mahārāja says that Viṣṇu, your loving object is Viṣṇu. So try to love Viṣṇu, then your life will be successful. You'll feel satisfaction. Yayātmā suprasīdati. You'll feel, "Oh, I have got something now. Now I have got this loving object." In another place Prahlāda Mahārāja said na te vid

Raghunatha Bhatta Goswami

By the order of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Raghunatha Bhatta Goswami remained a lifelong brahmachari. His service was constant chanting of Hare Krishna and reading Shrimad Bhagavatam. In Jagannatha Puri, Raghunatha satisifed Lord Gauranga by his exceptional cooking and kirtana performances, which won him the title, kirtana acharya. (In the image: Raghunatha Bhatta Goswami).

When he came to Vrindavana, the Vaishnavas (including Shri Rupa and Sanatana Goswamis) would regularly listen to his singing of Bhagavata shlokas in four tunes as sweet as a cuckoo. His recitation was unparalleled; even Vyasadeva enjoyed it. He fulfilled Lord Chaitanya's order to pre

Raghunatha Dasa Goswami

Shrila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami.

Born in a dynasty of Vaishnavas, Raghunatha Dasa Goswami was the only son of a wealthy land owner. As a boy, he received Haridasa Thakura's association and blessings. At fifteen he met Lord Chaitanya. By the mercy of Lord Nityananda he renounced a beautiful wife and an opulent family. He ran to Jagannatha Puri to intimately serve Shri Gaura Raya and his siksha guru Svarupa Damodara Goswami for sixteen years. Lord Gauranga gave His personal Govardhana Shila and gunja mala to Raghunatha Dasa Goswami.

Raghunatha Dasa couldn't live after Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu left this world. So, he came to Vrindavana to end his life by jumping off Govardhana Hill. Shri Rupa and Sanatana Goswamis affectionately received him. They convinced him to live on and enlighten all the Vrajavasi Vaishnavas with Shriman Mahaprabhu's Puri pastimes. For three hours a day on the banks of Radha-kunda he spoke about Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami

Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami.

Appearing near Katva, Krishna Dasa Kaviraja left for Vrindavana after Lord Nityananda told him in a dream: are are krishnadasa, na karaha bhaya, Vrindavana yaha tanha, sarva larya haya, "0 my dear Krishnadasa, do not be afraid. Go to Vrindavana. For there you will attain all things." (Chaitanya-charitamrta Adi 5.195)

Krishna Dasa took diksha from Raghunatha Dasa Goswami. He lived a renounced life at Syama-kunda near Manasa Pavana Ghat, Radharani's midday bathing place.

Shri Jiva Goswami, as per his custom of giving titles of honor to qualified Devotees, gave Krishna Dasa the title Kaviraja (the king of poets) for his poetic masterpiece Govinda-lilamrta. Shri Narottam a Dasa Thakura wrote in Prarthana: "Krishna Dasa Kaviraja, who composed the Shri Chaitanya-charitamrta, is the connoisseur among Devotees. His Govinda-lilamrta moves stones to tears, but alas, my mind is not attracted to it."

During Krishna Dasa's time, all the Vaishnavas woul

Srila Madhvacharya Appearance

Madhvacharya-5.jpg

"One should have complete faith in the transcendental literature such as Shrimad Bhagavatam and other literatures that directly glorifies the Supreme Personality of Godhead. One should also have faith in Vaishnava Tantra, the original Vedas, and Mahabharata which includes Bhagavad Gita, and which is considered the fifth Veda. The Vedic knowledge originally emanated from the breathing of Lord Visnu, and the Vedic literature has been compiled in a literary form by Shrila Vyasadeva, the incarnation of Vishnu. Therefore Vishnu should be understood to be the personal speaker of all this Vedic literature." (In the image: Incarnation of Vayu and Hanuman Shrila Madhvacharya).

Madhvacharya was born Vasudev, son of Narayan Bhatt and Vedavati in the village of Padakakshetra, near Udupi usually taken as being 1238 AD., on the Vijay Dasami of Lord Rama. After  79 years of wonderful pastimes he passed on to be with his Lord, Shrila Vyasadev in the year 1317 AD.

   This self realised soul, Mukhyapra
