“In March 1978, when the GBC went to see Sridhara Maharaja to consult on the future of the gurus and ISKCON initiations, the GBC was told that being appointed as the ritvik representative of the guru does not automatically make one an initiating guru later on.” Jayapataka then blatantly and boldly lied to inform Sridhara Maharaja, as recorded on tape, referring to the 28 May 1977 conversations between the GBC and Srila Prabhupada: “Prabhupada has given explicit wishes.”

 

This convinced Sridhara Maharaja that Srila Prabhupada had actually appointed 11 acharyas, and then, having been misled about this, gave her extensive advice to the "new acharyas" of ISKCON on that basis. ELEVEN BEAUTIFUL VYASASANAS PREPARED BEFORE PRABHUPADA PASSED AWAY?

-Nadia das was one of the brave members of the Nama Hatta Sankirtan group of Yasodanandana and Gurukripa who raised most of the funds to build ISKCON's Vrindaban Krishna Balarama Mandir, ISKCON temple complex on Mumbai's Juhu beach and residential neighbourhoods from "long wall" of ISKCON at Mayapur. Years later, Yasodanandana met Nadia again and remembered old times. Nadia told Yasodanandana about an unforgettable incident, what it was like being at ISKCON Mayapur in August 1977, before Srila Prabhupada left for London. He saw an unusual truck delivering to the ISKCON complex precious woods and many expensive rolls of fine brocade fabric. Nadia asked Bhavananda, the Mayapur project director, what were those high-quality materials for, and he replied: "Let's build eleven Vyasasanas for the new gurus!" ”.
