Question ; Can you think of any large important aspect of societies, such as food, that does not have professional people managing or regulating ?

Similarly, all the important functions of this universe have professional persons running or working with them. Weather and gravity are examples. We Vaisnavas call the authorized working managers DEVAS or demigods. God Himself arranges their appointments, so they are His people and should be shown proper respect and consideration and service. They have individual names and lives, and most fill positions that have a beginning and an end, like any other workers, but on a much more powerful level than most of us. Each universe has different persons filling these positions. We ourselves can also fill most such positions when empowered to do so.

The well of human desires, trying to find pleasure in the human life, cannot be filled however much you pour into it. Like a fire, pouring gasoline does not extinguish the blaze, rather pumps it up. The race never ends. Misguided passion then culminates ultimately in ignorance and dissatisfaction. Material life is limited due to the Time factor leading to death of the current body and life-situation. ie you're gonna die !

Better to cool it, to carefully guide the senses and body through routines of life meant to enable spiritual sensation, to arise naturally. Once having attained spiritual life, one does not have to return over and over to material bodies chasing the sensory overload happiness dream. However, you will find oceans of insight and pleasure as you reattain your rightful spiritual senses.
