Prabhupada did not accept criticism unless we had a positive correction.
I heard from secretary Prabhupada, Upendra, that devotees in Japan were thrown out of the country and that our Society is at risk. This disturbed me as I spent three years in Japan. I felt that the devotees there, headed by Gurukripa and Yashodananda, were in a passionate mood to raise money. They didn't want to register the Society and keep it in good condition.
In this restless mood, I entered Prabhupada's room. Srila Prabhupada was alone. I burned out ′′ I knew this was going to happen ". Srila Prabhupada looked at me as if saying, ′′ What kind of aboriginal entered my room?" I said, ′′ We are being thrown out of Japan, but we have Radha's Deity - Krishna is there ".
Srila Prabhupada was sad and said soberly: ′′ I didn't want this to happen. Ok you can come back ". I was shocked. I thought, ′′ Oh God, what have I done? I opened my mouth and now I need to get back to Japan. I didn't want to do this ". That's

Three lost prasadam-related Iskcon Canada holidays/pastimes;

1 Varuni Juice day
2 feed the brahmanas sweets day
3 Ooorts
1 Once a year, I think it is Balarama's appearance day, i can't remember, the cooks would prepare buckets of Vaurni juice, made with whey and excess honey. The devotees would drink it, and get quite intoxicated and laugh and look swimmy-eyed a lot... great annual fun.
2 Also once a year, also cannot recall which day, the temple would bring out bowls of rasagullas and burfi and sandesh, and the brahamans would be fed so many sweets their mouths would be stuffed full of gulabjamuns. I used to donate a lot of mine to Swapana Prabhu, who would then feel obliged to eat all of them out of respect for the brahamanas! You'd feel it in your next day's japa though...
3 If one could somehow manage to steal some prasadam off of a favorite devotee's plate, it was called oorts, and consided most auspicious to eat or take.

June 29, 1971 Srila Prabhupada: We can serve Kṛṣṇa in four ways. First of all, try to dedicate your life for Kṛṣṇa. That is first class. If not, then spare some of your money for Kṛṣṇa. If not, then give some words for Kṛṣṇa. Or give some intelligence. You can give. "Sir, if for organizing your this movement we know that you require money, but I have no money. So I have got a friend. He is rich. If you come, he will help you." This is intelligence.
You can serve Kṛṣṇa by intelligence. You can serve Kṛṣṇa by your money. You can serve Kṛṣṇa by your life. And at last, you can serve Kṛṣṇa by your words. Simply go door to door and request everyone, "Please chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. There will be no loss on your part. The gain you will see within one week. The gain you will see within one week if you chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. But you are not losing."
If we chant Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra, as soon as our heart is cleansed . . .That is the first benediction of chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra, that our heart becomes cleans

WHAT ARE WE THINKING ABOUT?

WHAT ARE WE THINKING ABOUT?
.........."When a living entity is accustomed to think of a particular subject matter or become absorbed in a certain type of thought, he will think of that subject at the time of death. At the time of death, one will think of the subject that has occupied his life while he was awake, lightly sleeping or dreaming, or while he was deeply sleeping. After falling from the association of the Supreme Lord, the living entity thus transmigrates from one bodily form to another according to nature's course, until he finally attains the human form. If he is absorbed in material thoughts and ignorant of spiritual life, and if he does not"........in the Purport of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 4.28.28
Bhagavad-gītā As It Is Chapter 8. Verse 6......Translation: "Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, O son of Kuntī, that state he will attain without fail."
PURPORT:
The process of changing one's nature at the critical moment of death is here explained. A person

What is the Most Severe Nāma-aparādha?
by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

Question 1
How can one attain perfection within a single lifetime?

Answer: If one gives up one’s free will and fully surrenders to śrī gurudeva, and then performs bhajana without duplicity under his guidance, one will attain perfection within a single lifetime.

Question 2
By what means can one know Śrī Bhagavān?

Answer: One will have to hear with faith the kathā of Bhagavān coming from the lotus lips of śrī gurudeva. There is no way to know Śrī Bhagavān other than by whole-heartedly surrendering unto the lotus feet of śrī gurudeva. Onl

"THE SPIRITUAL MASTER, BONAFIDE SPIRITUAL, MEANS HE HAS TO RECEIVE THE POWER FROM AUTHORITY. OTHERWISE IT IS USELESS. NO, IT IS NOT THAT ONE CAN BECOME SPIRITUAL MASTER OVERNIGHT."
Srila Prabhupada:
saṁsāra-dāvānala-līḍha-loka-
trāṇāya kāruṇya-ghanāghanatvam
prāptasya kalyāṇa-guṇārṇavasya
vande guroḥ śrī-caraṇāravindam
This song is offering obeisances particularly to the spiritual master, and the symptoms of the spiritual master are described in this prayer. The spiritual master has two kind of symptoms in his activities. One kind is called constant, and other kind is called temporary. So the first verse says that the constant symptom of the spiritual master is that he can deliver his disciples from the blazing fire of this material existence. That is the eternal qualification of spiritual master. Trāṇāya means for deliverance, and kāruṇya means compassionate, very merciful. The spiritual master comes to the deliverance of the fallen souls out

The following conversation between His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and members of the United Nations World Health Organization took place in Geneva on June 6, 1974.
Srila Prabhupada: All over the world, or anywhere in the world, you can make this experiment, just as we are doing. Live very simply. Be self-sufficient; get your necessities not from factories but from the farmland. And glorify God’s holy names.
In this industrial set-up, capitalist or communist, only a few big men can be happy – so-called happy – at the expense of the other people. And because th

"With prīti, with love. Chant every name, "Hare Kṛṣṇa," and hear. Here is Kṛṣṇa, here is Rādhārāṇī. That kind of chanting, quality. Not "Harekṛṣṇaharekṛṣṇakṛṣṇakṛṣṇaharehare . . ." Not like that. Not like that. Prīti. Teṣāṁ satata-yuktānāṁ bhajatāṁ prīti (BG 10.10). That prīti is required. That is the essential quality. Patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ yo me bhaktyā prayacchati (BG 9.26). Real thing is bhakti (devotion). Kṛṣṇa is not hungry, that you will give Him some good food and He will eat it, never mind in which way you can give. "Oh, here is purī, halavā. Kṛṣṇa must eat." Kṛṣṇa is not hungry for your purī, halavā. But if there is bhakti, if there is love, then He eats. Tad aham aśnāmi: "Then I eat, if there is bhakti, love."

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (ISKCON Founder Acharya)―
"On the earth there is a full display of variegatedness of life, which is originally started with the basic principle of air. Diseases of the body take place due to derangement of air within the earthly body of the living beings. Mental diseases result from special derangement of the air within the body, and as such, yogic exercise is especially beneficial to keep the air in order so that diseases of the body become almost nil by such exercises. When they are properly done the duration of life also increases, and one can have control over death also by such practices."

In the Skanda Purāṇa there is a similar statement: "Persons whose bodies are marked with tilaka, symbolizing the conchshell, wheel, club and lotus—and who keep the leaves of tulasī on their heads, and whose bodies are always decorated with gopī-candana—even seen once, can help the seer be relieved from all sinful activities.
Nectar of Devotion, 12 by Srila ĀC Bhaktivedānta Swami Prabhupada Prabhupada
A similar statement is in the Third Canto, 7th Chapter, 19th verse, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam: "Let me become a sincere servant of the devotees because by serving them one can achieve unalloyed devotional service unto the lotus feet of the Lord. The service of devotees diminishes all miserable material conditions and develops within one a deep devotional love for the Supreme Personality of Godhead."
In the Skanda Purāṇa there is a similar statement: "Persons whose bodies are marked with tilaka, symbolizing the

Srila Prabhupada - "If there is no chance of directly serving the spiritual master,
then the devotee does serve him by remembering his instructions only.
There is no difference between the spiritual master's instructions and the spiritual master himself."

We should always remember that a person who is reluctant to accept a spiritual master for initiation is sure to become baffled in his endeavour to go back to Godhead. Such person who is not properly initiated may present himself as a great devotee but in fact he is sure to encounter many many stumbling blocks on his way of progressive march towards spiritual realisation and the net result is that he has to continue the term of his material existence without any relief. Such helpless person is compared with a ship without a rudder as such a careless ship cannot reach her destination. It is imperative therefore to accept a spiritual master if at all anyone desires to gain the favour of the Lord. Service of the spiritual master is esse

Even before death, a pure devotee has no material affection, due to his body's being spiritualized like a red-hot iron in contact with fire
SB 1.6.27, Purport: That is the sign of spiritually enriched persons. And in due course of time, when a pure devotee is completely prepared, all of a sudden the change of body occurs which is commonly called death. And for the pure devotee such a change takes place exactly like lightning, and illumination follows simultaneously. That is to say a devotee simultaneously changes his material body and develops a spiritual body by the will of the Supreme. Even before death, a pure devotee has no material affection, due to his body's being spiritualized like a red-hot iron in contact with fire.
Therefore change of the body means stoppage of the reaction of three qualitative modes of material nature upon the pure devotee
SB 1.6.28, Purport: A devotee's body becomes at once

Srila Prabhupada’s letter to Hansadutta- Calcutta Sept. 2, 1970 “It is a fact that the great sinister movement is within our society.” What is “the great sinister movement” if not the satanic cabal? He also instructed one of his disciples Nanda Kumar, “There are those in our movement who dress like devotees, shika, tilak, neckbeads, and dhoti, but they are not devotees. They are agents of Kali. We must find them and weed them out.”

Quote from Srila Bhaktisidhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada - “After the time of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, those faithful to Him kept apart from non devotees, to avoid contamination. Seeing this, the personality of Kali sent his representatives in disguise to pollute the Vaisnava sampradaya. Posing as Vaisnavas, they spread their wicked doctrines, and appeared so intelligent and devoted that only pure devotees could detect their real identity.” – Srila Bhaktisiddhanta, Sajana Toshani (18.2.13-14)

A Heart Touching Pastime Of Srila Prabhupada.
Sripada Hrdayananda Babaji Maharaja was born in Radha Kunda and has been a pujari for 78 years. He lives next to the Radha Damodara Temple. At the beginning of the interview, upon being asked if he knew Srila Prabhupada, Babaji Maharaja began to cry, "Never have I seen anyone do sadhana like he did. I have lived all my life in Vraja and I have never seen anyone like him. Prabhupada did many arduous things, he worked very hard there at the Radha Damodara Temple. At that time it was austere, undeveloped, and very muddy and dirty with no facilities.”
"Many years later, when I heard that it was actually he who had been chosen by Caitanya Mahaprabhu to spread the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra around the world, I was not surprised.”
Prabhupada spread this Krishna consciousness by the mercy of Rupa Goswami. Prabhupada used to pray to Rupa Goswami, "You please give me your mercy." And then he got that mercy. I know t

Some say that everyone is equal. Are they right?
Answer: The real and the unreal, the devotee and the non-devotee, the sinful and the virtuous, the educated and the illiterate, the demigod and the Supreme Lord, the chaste and the unchaste, religion and non-religion, light and darkness, ātma-dharma and anātma-dharma, devotion and non-devotion – how can these be equal to each other?
Everything is considered acceptable by those who remain unaware of internal realities and who have yet to enter into contemplation of the subtlest of subtle subject matters. An ignorant child may claim that his illegible writing must have meaning; for if the writings of knowledgeable men have meaning, then his scribbles must as well.
A foolish man will accuse someone who sees a difference between illegible scribbles and meaningful writing of being sectarian and partial. If one tries to discuss true principles in relation to the Supreme Lord and harikathā with those who are unaware of their internal i
