The Word ‘Kṛṣṇa’ Is Not an Allegory

9468744500?profile=original

by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

(Portrait of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda)

"Through words, as with their other senses, ordinary men gain knowledge. The languages derived from Brāhmī, Kharoṣṭhī, Sānkī, Puṣkarāsādī and so on are the sources of that knowledge. But such men are guided by secondary meanings, which are more or less different from the primary meanings of words. The desire to attain any manifest object of this world by means of these words should be deemed to be in opposition to the supreme.

Divinity has His existence in the indivisible cognitive principle. Therefore he does not obstruct the enlightening process of words. The modes of investigation represented by the schools that worship Rudra and Brahmā, respectively, are plainly and wholly different from the mode of investigation employed by Vaiṣṇavas. The procedures employed by the former schools are obstructive of indivisible knowledge. It is

Jayananda's Mother

A Hospice Miracle—Serving Jayananda’s Mother

In mid-July I started wearing tilak to my work at the hospice. I thought that since many other spiritual practitioners were expressing their faith by wearing crosses, doves, silk threads, pentacles, and other items, I would wear my tilak, which tells the world that I am a devotee of the Lord. And I have found that wearing tilak at work has opened the door for spiritual questions and conversations.

On the morning of Monday, August 6, 2007, after our daily report and medical-staff checks, we began doing our usual tasks of caring for the patients. As ours is only a ten-bed facility, we are able to give loving care to each patient individually. Often, while I care for or bathe patients who are unable to do such tasks for themselves, I chant or sing the Hare Krishna maha-mantra. On this particular morning I was caring for a woma

“If Tirtha [Thomas Drescher] takes the whole thing, and no other boys get caught, then he’ll go back to Godhead at the end of this lifetime.”—“His Divine Grace” Kirtanananda Swami “Bhaktipada” (Keith Gordon Ham), the ISKCON zonal acharya at New Vrindaban, known as “Number One.” Here on his vyasasana (throne) at the newly-dedicated RVC temple at New Vrindaban. This is a CRUCIAL point and big difference between Ritvik (SPI) and others...this policy is revolutionary. This puts Krsna in every town and village locally, with no central totalitarian dictators or control, no system of scam lords.

ANY Prabhupada disciple who is elect Temple President can recommend Prabhupada disciples for ritvik diksha.

NO CHANGES. THIS is what we ALWAYS did, as SP set it up, and he said CONTINUE. He always had his local Temple presidents recommend his new disciples.

This is the simple answer that can solve many problems; dont change ANYTHING. As we always did while Prabhupada was with us, and he said, "No changes" continue, be ritivk and act as my representatives. SP ALWAYS accepted a tp's recommendations, and he said continue in the same standard ways.

Screw the "letters" written by the Zionists, what to speak of those instructions disappeared by them. I for one dont give a demon's butt about their endless documentation dithering. We accept all things favorable an

Sambhu Das John Gensler= Suresh Das (acbsp) -
- RE : Punya Das (acbsp).- I have brought it up several times but As It Is hasn't answered. Whenever I try bring up the "greatest exponent of Krsna consciousness in the western world" challenge, to ISKCON members and supporters, their usual response is to evade the issue. If you can nail them down to openly and publicly taking a stand, it's quite amazing the types of responses I've seen. It's the easiest way to ferret out the dishonest "followers of Srila Prabhupada" among us.

Is Srila Prabhupada the "greatest exponent of Krsna consciousness in the western world" - Yes of No?
* Akruranth dasa - Yes, but with conditions. Whatever the GBC decides is the right conclusion.
* Frank Hallenstein (Yuga Avatar) - No - Prabhupada's disciples are greater than Srila Prabhupada? His own words.
* Pancharatna dasa (creator of BBTedit) - Srila Prabhupada title was rightly removed from the 'Bhagavad-Gita As It Is' by JAS. It's unnecessary and unneeded. His own

Lord Śiva told Pārvatīi, "O goddess, if the Spiritual Master instructs the disciple three times on how to act properly, but the disciple still does not accept his instructions, the Spiritual Master incurs no sin, but the disciple does."

gurūs trivāram ācāraṁ kathayec ca kulesvarī
na gṛhṇāti hi śiṣyas cet tadā pāpaṁ guror na hi
(Kulārṇava-rahasya 11)

Not only the Spiritual master should be qualified, the disciple should also be qualified. Only then the process is successful. Therefore without a qualified guru, and without becoming a qualified disciple it is not possible to attain God. So first of all, we must become qualified disciples. Only then we will be able to take advantage of a qualified guru.

The-Shastras and Veda © Analysis of the oldest astrological and astronomical science of the planet and its philosophical and theological concepts.

What is jyoti-Shastras? 2th part

The Jyoti-Shastras is the key through which man can know his intimate connection to the universe, overcome it and head towards the source, i.e. God. The-Shastras is a system of knowledge of ancient India in use for over 5000 years. The Jyoti-shastras actually exists forever. To fully understand the basic concepts of Jyoti-Shastras, it is necessary to consider the philosophical aspect from which they originate.
Vedic philosophy consists of six philosophical systems: 1) the philosophical system Karma-Mimāṁsā of jaiminī ṛṣi; 2) the system system of kapiladeva ṛṣi, son of devahūti; 3) the philosophy philosophy, of gautama ṛṣi And of kaṇāda ṛṣi; 4) the philosophy, of aṣṭāvakra ṛṣi; 5) Yoga-Sutras of Lucas ṛṣi; 6) the Brahma-mīmāṁsā or bhagavata philosophy of śrīla vyāsadeva. Karma-Mīmāṁsā is the philosophy of ri

Don’t be a fool!

The lowest kind of man is he who comes in the path of bhakti and then turns back again. That is the most condemned person. All those millions of births and he's finally developed sukriti and adhikara to approach Bhakti Devi and then he turns around and leave. This is the most unfortunate man.

Tamohara T G Dasa i do not wish as am not able. however, we can speak of simple conclusions in more modern day with interpretation thusly by the line of teachers, with simple sastric references via Srila A.C. Bhakltivedanta Swami Prabhudpa , our Sri Gurdeva, most recent Acarya of the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Vaisnava sampradaya..... Lord Brahmaji instructs us; "Govindam, adi purusham!, tam aham bhajami" in Brahma Sutra, Similarly, Sri Shankara Acarya Swami, says; "Bhakja govindam, bahja govinda, bjaja Govindam! " , then we conclude that Lord Govinda is the Supreme Lord, so far as our best sources of knowledge tell us.; In Gita 18;66 wherein Sri Krsna Govinda says, in conclusion, to his friend Arjuna, on the battlefield of Kuruksetra; "Do Give up all dharmas and surrender unto ME alone!" .......................................Now in our time, self same Lord came with specifics for this time period, 550 years agoish, Bengal, "Tvisa varana tvisa krsnam vangosongastra parsadam yajnaih sankirt

On December 23rd, 1936, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Prabhupada gave his final instructions to the assembled devotees:

Perhaps many people have considered me their enemy because I was compelled to tell the unadulterated truth. I asked them to serve the Lord with all sincerity. I have given much anxiety to many people only because I wanted to inspire them to serve Krishna sincerely without material desire and duplicity. One day they will understand this.

1. sakale parama utsaha sahakare rupa raghunatha vani pracara sabara
“All of you preach the message of Rupa and Raghunatha to everyone with great enthusiasm.”

2. rupanuga-pada-dhuli haite sabara (jena) carama akanksa citte jage anibara
“May the ultimate desire to become a speck of dust at the lotus feet of the followers of Sri Rupa remain ever awake in our hearts.”

WHY IS THERE SUFFERING ?

Avadhoot Maharaj QUOTED;  "Vrajanatha: Prabhu, I understand that this marginal position is situated in tatastha-svabhava, or junction, of the spiritual and material worlds. Why is it that some jivas go from there to the material world, while others go to the spiritual world?

Babaji: Krsna's qualities are also present in the jivas, but only in a minute quantity. Krsna is supremely independent, so the desire to be independent is eternally present in the jivas as well. When the jiva uses his independence correctly, he remains disposed towards Krsna, but when he misuses it, he becomes vimukha (indifferent) to Him. It is just this indifference that gives rise to the desire in the jiva's heart to enjoy maya. Because of the desire to enjoy maya, he develops the false ego that he can enjoy material sense gratification, and then the five types of ignorance tamah (not knowing anything about the spirit soul), moha (the illusion of the bodily concept of life), ma

Mixalis Nanda Gopa i just found this jewel statement from S.Bhaktivinod T.....<<Excerpts from 'TEACHINGS OF THE GOLDEN AVATAR' by Bhaktivinode Thakur - Article from 'Back To Godhead' magazine

"The eternal Rasa of Krishna exists spiritually in Chit-jagat, the spiritual world. To we who are in the netherworld there is a screen which intervenes between our eyes and the great spiritual scene of Krishna Lila. When by the grace of Krishna that screen is drawn up, we have the privilege to see it, and again when it pleases the Almighty to drop the screen, the great Vrindaban Lila disappears. Taste the subject and your conviction will be the same as mine. Brethren! Do not give up such an important subject without due and liberal examination.

The soul is His "Vibhinnangsha," or separated part. By soul are meant all sorts of souls, whether animal, human or celestial. It must be understood that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu believed in the very liberal theory of transmigration of the soul.

The soul, according

Avadhoot Maharaj said; "Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur compiled his shiksha guru-parampara to demonstrate how the real guru manifests. His father In the Tattva-sutra , Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur writes that, 'Devotees of the Supreme Lord are not controlled by the scriptures. since their activities are congenial to divine wisdom. Therefore, when the self-realized devotees ordain any new arrangement, this should be followed as a religious code , even if such new arrangements are not found in the scriptural dictums of the previous sages."9468730268?profile=original

"The topics of the warfare in which the Lord engages do not concern the war of death but the war against the chain of māyā which obliges one to accept repeated birth and death. In other words, one who takes delight in hearing the war topics of the Lord is relieved from the chains of birth and death. "
