Srimad Bhagavatam 3.24.12 Translation:
Lord Brahmā said: My dear son Kardama, since you have completely accepted my instructions without duplicity, showing them proper respect, you have worshiped me properly. Whatever instructions you took from me you have carried out, and thereby you have honored me.

Lord Brahmā, as the first living entity within the universe, is supposed to be the spiritual master of everyone, and he is also the father, the creator, of all beings. Kardama Muni is one of the Prajāpatis, or creators of the living entities, and he is also a son of Brahmā. Brahmā praises Kardama because he carried out the orders of the spiritual master in toto and without cheating. A conditioned soul in the material world has the disqualification of cheating. He has four disqualifications: he is sure to commit mistakes, he is sure to be illusioned, he is prone to cheat others, and his senses are imperfect. to be Taken to Safety at Smrti-mandira
The disciples and followers of Śrīla Gour Govinda Swami Mahārāja have decided to transfer his siddha-deha (transcendental body) to the Smṛti-mandira, which is located on the left-hand side of the stairs to the main entrance of the beautiful ISKCON Krishna-Balaram Temple in Bhubaneswar. The devotees in Bhubaneswar have started preparing the new samadhi site in the Smṛti-mandira.

Drug addicts seek love, security, amusement, and thus relief from material pain. A positive alternative is available; ie Krsna consciousness. Eternal love and dignified service is available, so the self identity can be healed. Intoxicators are seeking their constitutional position, though they do not usually know what is driving them. Intoxication is good, look at the intoxicated activities of those in Krsna and Mahaprabhu's pastimes; but that intoxication is natural, not artificial. Taking earthly intoxicants can bind one to temporary things, as well as create poverty ,crime, illness, and social troubles. Try to avoid them, take to chanting hare krsna and be vegetarian. Certainly never drink alcohol. So many lives are ruined due to that demonic assault. You will find a much better life if you can find spiritual happiness, and a good destination.

Simple truth; Srila Prabhupada wished us to carry on much as the Christians do, with Jesus acarya. He set up ritviks to do initiations for him in the early seventies, and asked us not to change anything. He said that his disciples are to always remain in control of all his properties and rights. He told Cayavana Swami that he would have MILLIONS of disciples. He also appointed eleven ritivks on Tamaljudases' and the demonjews pushing, this confirmed by eye witnesses; ritivks, not gurus. There is no Sadhana siddhi in Kaliyuga, only Krpa siddhi;
