Anyone who joined the Hare Krishna Movement in the 60's or 70's knows how integral His Grace Sriman Pradyumna Prabhu was as part of Srila Prabhupada's travelling party and as Sanskrit editor. They were inseparable. Pradyumna was entrusted with a tremendous responsibility, to compete the Srimad Bhagavatam, until a few overly-ambitious godbrothers, some of whom are gurus worshiped today, appeared on the scene to drive him away. This history is not includrd in todays “Disciples’ Course “

Pradyumna Prabhu's voice can be heard leading the recitation of the Sanskrit at the beginning of most Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavatam, Nectar of Devotion and other classes. It is completely fitting that Srila Prabhupada chose him to complete the rest of the Srimad Bhagavatm, under the guidance of Srila Prabhupada's godbrother , Srila Bhakti Rakshak

Simple truth; Srila Prabhupada wished us to carry on much as the Christians do, with Jesus acarya. He set up ritviks to do initiations for him in the early seventies, and asked us not to change anything. He said that his disciples are to always remain in control of all his properties and rights. He told Cayavana Swami that he would have MILLIONS of disciples. He also appointed eleven ritivks on Tamaljudases' and the demonjews pushing, this confirmed by eye witnesses; ritivks, not gurus. So, its all setttled, we continue on as always. Any who disagree, why be here on my page at all? Be at peace. I will not even speak to you any more, waste of time.

*Glorification of Hare Krishna Maha Mantra:*

In Kali Santarana Upanishad, it is mentioned, “These 16 names composed of 32 syllables are the only means counteracting the evil effect of Kali Yuga. After searching through all the Vedic literature, one cannot find a method of religion for this age so sublime as the chanting of Hare Krishna Mantra”

According to Brihad Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra and Brahmanda Purana, one name of Rama is equal to 1000 names of Vishnu and three names of Rama is equal to one name of Krishna.

In Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, there are 4 Krishnas.
4 Krishnas = 4 * 3 = 12 Ramas.
Also, there are another 4 Ramas in the Mantra.
So, 12 + 4 = total of 16 Ramas in the Mantra.
1 Rama = 1000 Vishnus (equivalent to 1 Vishnu Sahasranama Stotram).
Therefore, 16 Ramas = 16 * 1000 = 16,000 Vishnus.
So, One Maha Mantra = 16,000 Vishnus (equivalent to 16 Vishnu Sahasranama Stotrams).

It takes about 5.5 hours to recite 16 times of Vishnu Sahasran

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta's Final Instructions

On December 23rd, 1936, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada gave his final instructions to the assembled devotees:

"Perhaps many people have considered me their enemy because I was compelled to tell the unadulterated truth. I asked them to serve the Lord with all sincerity. Kyler Watson Bhaktivinoda states in his literature that the root cause of all anarthas is the desire for prestige- the desire to be famous.

With that in mind-- Sri Rupa Goswamipada describes this tendency in the Jiva souls in conversation with Sanatana as, "the greatest thing in the world." Because the tendency of the Jivas to Lord over things is evidencial of their part and parcel relationship with the Lord.

Just like Lord Jesus Christ had some enemies, and Mahatma Gandhi had also some enemies who killed him. So the world is such treacherous. Even a sādhu, he has some enemies. You see?

Prabhupada:.." Well, everyone is engaged to become siksa-guru, but one should become perfect. The attempt is -- what is called? -- probationer. When probationer period is finished, then he is naturally, automatically, bona fide guru. Not in the probationer period. That is immature attempt. That will failure. Amara ajnaya [Cc. Madhya 7.128], Caitanya Mahaprabhu said: "By My order." So all my disciples are expected to become siksa-guru on my order, not by his own order."

Iskcon is like the lover who you find in your bed whenever you trying to be with your partner, always in between the relationship with guru, so much so that initiation in Iskcon is de facto a rtivik initiation. There is a last page to sign in the documentation for first initiation and that is about being loyal all life to the GBC = Iskcon.
