I could not find any of Prabhpada's lectures on the appearance day of Lord Balarama, hence sharing one of Prabhupada's lectures on the appearance day of Lord Nityananda, who is none other than Balarama Himself.

Prabhupāda: So today, the appearance day of Nityānanda Prabhu. Nityānanda Prabhu is Baladeva, Baladeva-tattva.

vrajendra-nandana yei, śacī-suta haila sei,

balarāma haila nitāi

"Who was formerly the son of Nanda Mahārāja, He has appeared as the son of Śacīdevi." Caitanya Mahāprabhu's mother's name was Śacīdevi. So Kṛṣṇa . . . Kṛṣṇa is Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and Balarāma is Nityānanda Prabhu. Now,

So Balarāma . . . In the Vedic literature it is said, nāyam ātmā bala-hinena labhyaḥ, na bahunā śrutena. So bala means strength. Sometimes some rascal philosophers

Here's how it works. We are currently very insignificant, don't even think about it, you'll get depressed. We can do almost nothing, then we die. We have no power as time takes everything away in due course. It looks dire for us all. But Krsna has unlimited power and enjoys unlimitedly ! TRANSLATION: The loud sound of the chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra certainly made the Kazi very much afraid, and he hid himself within his room. Hearing the people thus protesting, murmuring in great anger, the Kazi would not come out of his home.

PURPORT: The Kazi’s order not to perform sankirtana could stand only as long as there was no CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE. Under the leadership of the Supreme Lord, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the chanters, increasing in number, disobeyed the order of the Kazi. Lord Balarāma became very anxious to see His father and mother, Mahārāja Nanda and Yaśodā. Therefore, He started for Vṛndāvana on a chariot with great enthusiasm. The inhabitants of Vṛndāvana had been anxious to see Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma for a very long time. When Lord Balarāma returned to Vṛndāvana, all the cowherd boys and the gopīs had grown up; but still, on His arrival, they all embraced Him, and Balarāma embraced them in reciprocation.
