9468806280?profile=originalWe all feel spiritual life, the flow of bhakti shakti as it were, that sustains our life, that brings us aesthetic pleasure and meditative regard of great unending ever-fresh Beauty and even innocence. We may constantly worship with highest regards this Source of our life, the lotus feet. And what or Who is that Source? Even Krsna worships Her lotus feet, and the feet of His Parents.

If we constantly respect, cherish, honor and serve this flow of nectar, understanding that it is the most precious well of life overflowing and sustaining us against an ocean of nothing, then we shall not commit offenses due to centuries of bad-conditioned mind or current occupation by demons. We are living within a vain and bewildering demon-infested plane of existence. Earth current makes total purity everywhere always next to impossible, like living in a cake filled with worms. But we can be sincere and steady in determination to serve Srila Prabhupada despite the fluctuations in the world around us, a

In his essay entitled "Initiation Into Spiritual Life" (written in December 1928 and published in the Harmonist) Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura writes as follows:

The ceremony of diksha or initiation is that by which the spiritual Preceptor admits one to the status of a neophyte on the path of spiritual endeavour. The ceremony tends to confer spiritual enlightenment by abrogating sinfulness. Its actual effect depends on the degree of willing co-operation on the part of the disciple and is, therefore, not the same in all cases. It does not preclude the possibility of reversion on the novice to the non-spiritual state, if he slackens in his effort or misbehaves. Initiation puts a person on the true track and also imparts an initial impulse to go ahead. It cannot, however, keep one going for good unless one chooses to put forth his own voluntary effort. The nature of the initial impulse also varies in accordance with the condition of the recipient. But although the mercy of the go

Prabhupada: Yes.
Pancadravida: Does this mean they are not authentic or... How did they come here?
Prabhupada: Who?
Pancadravida: These Bible and Koran, how did they get here? They were just inventions or what?
Prabhupada: Convention means they are partially good for the time being, that's all. They are not eternally... Just like in the Bible it is said, "Thou shalt not kill." (chuckles) But this is not, does not come within the category of eternal religion. People were so corrupted that they were forbidden, "No, don't do this." "Thou shalt not covet," a little moral instruction. That also, they could not follow. There is no religion. And little God consciousness, "There is God, kingdom of God," little idea for the persons who could understand. Otherwise, do you think that if somebody s

The Root of It All Is Humility

by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda

Not one among the paths in this material world is a path toward service to the Divinity. It is harmful to follow any worldly path. To follow the devotees of God is the only path that leads to one’s real good. Whatever method is followed by the devotees is worthy of being cherished with utmost love and reverence. The idea that one should be the master of God’s devotees leads to inferno.

Holding the blade of straw between my teeth I pray time and again for this boon only: that I may be a particle of dust of the lotus-feet of the most revered Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī Prabhu. Birth after birth, may we walk the path of the followers of Śrī Rūpa by being the particles of dust on the lotus feet of the devotees of God.

The root of it all is humility or the due realization of one’s own ineligibility. If conviction in our lack of fitness for the service of God is revealed to us either instin

The 4 principle verses 10.8-11
"I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who know this perfectly engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.
The thoughts of My pure devotees dwell in Me, their lives are surrendered to Me, and they derive great satisfaction and bliss enlightening one another and conversing about Me.
To those who are constantly devoted and worship Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me.
Out of compassion for them, I, dwelling in their hearts, destroy with the shining lamp of knowledge the darkness born of ignorance."

Certain very higher beings can control and occupy the thoughts of many lower ones. Maya, a very powerful energetic and intelligent such a person, beyond mundane time restrictions, unseen even by most humans, dictates almost the every move of non-self-realized humans, who are so under her delusions that they think themselves free and the lords of all they survey. Her energy is not of the gross elements, a situation not currently understood by mundane science, as they are all under Maya's spell. This is the real horror story! Another such great female, Yogamaya, rather captures one in spiritual pastimes of great ecstasy, eternally, and that is the destination of the spirit soul when fully liberated. "Intelligent" beings of this galaxy have access to this knowledge. There is infinite variety, but also symmetry and organization, as there is Divine Purpose , orchestrated with the cooperators, and hence an organizing narrative is set in each galaxy/universe. “Scientific Reasoning vs Spiritual Belief Systems; a Realistic Comparison by Natural Observation”

9468729093?profile=original
BY: TAMOHARADASA V. (acbsp), MSc.

If we observe the real situation of the world around us, we can gain insight into what is the best direction for people to go; science or spiritual knowledge. A system of thought that correlates or explains more of what we can observe around us would, by Occam’s razor alone, have to be taken as more correct or true. And we also take it as a given that by following our own essential natures and thus a system of thought most akin to that nature, we will be most satisfied and happy.

At a basic physical level, gravity and the other forces of nature have no meaning except in relationship to things other than themselves. The law of Gravity, for example, must have an object, such as a planet, upon which to act. So the basic laws have their existence only in relation to there being an “other” to interact with.

Even at a molecular level, we observe that molecu

If fact, WE are the communists!;

Srimad-Bhagavatam > Canto 1:"Creation" > SB: Preface
Preface
We must know the present need of human society. And what is that need? Human society is no longer bounded by geographical limits to particular countries or communities. Human society is broader than in the Middle Ages, and the world tendency is toward one state or one human society. The ideals of spiritual communism, according to Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, are based more or less on the oneness of the entire human society, nay, of the entire energy of living beings. The need is felt by great thinkers to make this a successful ideology. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam will fill this need in human society. It begins, therefore, with the aphorism of Vedānta philosophy janmādy asya yataḥ [SB 1.1.1] to establish the ideal of a common cause.
Human society, at the present moment, is not in the darkness of oblivion. It has made rapid progress in the field of material comforts, e

Have no fear! Krsna consciousness is very simple, it almost happens automatically if the process is followed sincerely. Mahaprabhu wants us delivered, Lord Nityananda is giving all Mercy, Srila Prabhupada gave everything to free us, how can we NOT get full results if we sincerely take?

No big brain required. Just as one naturally develops affection for one's family members, one who takes Gopal Krsna into one's home, also He becomes Family with time ! Time I Am ! Sayeth the Lord. But He is Godhead, so the relationship is very magickal and superior ! Krsna consciousness is hardly even a rational or logical process, those are not bhakti.

Chant Hare Krsna honestly, offer nice food as one can to Krsna, read about Krsna's pastimes and philosophy, share Harinam with others, take initiation and serve Srila Prabhupada's real mission; these little things are all that is required for easy advancement into eternal loving service in spiritual bliss !

“I Will Gratify My Malice by Stopping the Course of the World”

by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda
9468810061?profile=original

If we disregard, or ignore, the devotees of God for elevating ourselves, we will be cast into the prison of three dimensions and spring towards [our materiality’s] inflation instead of contraction.

“I will be good. I will be cured of my mundane desires. I will have real well-being.” This kind of judgement is proper. But it is not at all laudable to entertain thoughts to the contrary: “I will gratify my malice by stopping the course of the whole world.”

It is by no means proper to establish one’s superiority in opposition to the worshipfulness of God’s devotees. The path of hearing the transcendental word has been rendered devious because the text ahaṁ brahmāsmi has been misinterpreted [to mean, literally, “I am the Supreme Spirit.”]

I have listened to the true interpretation of this text at the lotus feet of my divine master, who said, “It is our eternal duty to chant

Prediction of Srila Prabhupada in Bhavisya Purana.

Srila Prabhupada was chosen to spread Hare Krishna Mahamantra all over the world.9468809090?profile=original

HG Jananivas Das prabhu : Another time, probably in 1973, Srila Prabhupada told me, “You can offer prayers in your own language if you like.” I used to chant the prayers in the morning. According to the shastra, you can only speak to the deity in Devanagari, the Sanskrit language.

In the Bhavisya Purana, bhavisya means in the future, it said that, “One saffron clad man will come from India and he will teach the Vedas in the language of the mlecchas.” [laughs] English is the language of the mlecchas. “And he will initiate with fire.”

Generally when a disciple receives the Gayatri mantra, it's a samskara which needs a fire sacrifice. Prabhupada used a fire sacrifice for the first initiation as well which is not mentioned in the Vedas.

It's for the Gayatri mantras. But for the Holy name Prabhupada used a fire sacrifice that is unique but is spoken of in the

Chapter 10: The Opulence of the Absolute
TEXT 10
To those who are constantly devoted and worship Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me.
PURPORT
In this verse the word buddhi-yogam is very significant. We may remember that in the Second Chapter the Lord, instructing Arjuna, said that He had spoken to him of many things and that He would instruct him in the way of buddhi-yoga. Now buddhi-yoga is explained. Buddhi-yogam itself is action in Krsna consciousness; that is the highest intelligence. Buddhi means intelligence, and yogam means mystic activities or mystic elevation. When one tries to go back home, back to Godhead, and takes fully to Krsna consciousness in devotional service, his action is called buddhi-yogam. In other words, buddhi-yogam is the process by which one gets out of the entanglement of this material world. The ultimate goal of progress is Krsna. People do not know this; ther

the fools want to talk of philosophy. Otherwise, there is no need of talking
philosophy. Simply by chanting, everything is complete.

Subhadra Devi katha...

Subadra of Mahabharata.9468809254?profile=original
The society in which Lord Krishna lived, had no caste discrimination. People belonged to a particular caste according to one’s livelihood. Garga Muni, the uncle of Krśńa, was a Brahmin (Vipra), and Krśńa’s father, Vasudeva, was a warlike Kśatriya, and the guardians of Krśńa, Nanda, Upananda and others, were Ábhiira Kśatriyas because they tamed cattle. These two, Játrii Kśatriya and Ábhiira Kśatriya, frequently fought each other. Both were good people, but because of some misunderstanding, they were always skirmishes and fighting. Krśńa thought, if He united these two, it would be very easy for Him to bring about Great India.
He applied His practical approach. He got His elder sister, Subhadra, an Ábhiira Kśatriya, to marry Arjuna who belonged to the Jatrii Ksatriya clan. This He did with a view to make the Játrii Kśatriyas and the Ábhiira Kśatriyas stop fighting.
She is an important character in the epic Mahabharata and also appears in other

Srila Prabhupada on Self Sufficiency and Farm Communities

Quotes from Srila Prabhupada

Self Sufficiency

Room Conversation with Professor Durckheim German Spiritual Writer -- June 19, 1974, Germany

Prabhupāda: My idea is that all our centers should be self-supported. We do not like that idea that for your support you have to go 100 miles to get your bread. That is a very dangerous drawback. You produce your food locally and then support yourself. The main problem is what to eat, where to sleep. So we get some place and support ourself by producing our own food. We have already begun in New Vrindaban, New..., West Virginia, Virginia, and similarly in other centers, we are producing our food, grains, vegetables, fruits and milk. That is sufficient. But we don't kill any animals. That we don't do.

Letter to Yasomatinandana -- 14 October, 1976

But we are not going to develop a competitive farming ent

9468807484?profile=originalPrabhupada: We Vaiṣṇavas do not say that there is no need of fighting. We never say. When there is need of fighting we must fight. Rather, somebody in New York, some Goldsmith, he was that, 'Why Krishna is advising Arjuna to fight, to become violent?'
So somebody protests like that. But there is no meaning of protesting against the action of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That is our view. So we Vaiṣṇavas, we are chanting.
It does not mean that when there is need of fighting with avaiṣṇava (non-vaishnava) we shall lack in strength. We can fight. One gentleman inquired from me that 'Vaiṣṇavism makes one dull. He cannot act.' And, 'No. You have not seen a Vaiṣṇava.' In the two fightings, great fighting, the Rāmāyaṇa and Mahābhārata, the hero was Hanuman and Arjuna, and they fought.
Guest: They fought.
Prabhupada: Yes. And who can be better Vaiṣṇava than them?
Guest: Nobody.
Prabhupada: So Vaiṣṇava does not mean he is dull. No.
Guest: No, that is well proved. If there is need...
